I eat here a couple of times a month. The service is always friendly and attentive, the food is always excellent, and the atmosphere is just about as comfortable as you can get.Parking: Free street parking out front on Plumas. There is also free city parking in the lot behind the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: A great family-feel that even the pickiest of eaters will enjoy!
The food was very good and the waitress was very accommodating, once she finally waited on us. (it took awhile.) However, I have never seen such filthy floors. It was the hour of 1:00 PM when we arrived but, mercy the floors were absolutely filthy. A good sweep and a clean mop would have been appropriate, no matter how busy they were. What a great little 50s style diner! The food is great, portions are large. The deserts are home made and just amazing! My friend had the warm cherry crisp with ice cream which she thoroughly enjoyed to the last bite. I had chicken fried steak breakfast and I took a slice of lemon cheesecake home for later. Wow it was amazing! Our waitress was just a lovely person and so attentive , I highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant :)
