Got a gift card enough for several meals and once the server found out we were paying with a gift card, they never checked in on us, refilled drinks, or really much of anything. We always tipped cash, but that didn't seem to matter.

What a great little 50s style diner! The food is great, portions are large. The deserts are home made and just amazing! My friend had the warm cherry crisp with ice cream which she thoroughly enjoyed to the last bite. I had chicken fried steak breakfast and I took a slice of lemon cheesecake home for later. Wow it was amazing! Our waitress was just a lovely person and so attentive , I highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant :)

I eat here a couple of times a month. The service is always friendly and attentive, the food is always excellent, and the atmosphere is just about as comfortable as you can get.Parking: Free street parking out front on Plumas. There is also free city parking in the lot behind the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: A great family-feel that even the pickiest of eaters will enjoy!

The food was very good and the waitress was very accommodating, once she finally waited on us. (it took awhile.) However, I have never seen such filthy floors. It was the hour of 1:00 PM when we arrived but, mercy the floors were absolutely filthy. A good sweep and a clean mop would have been appropriate, no matter how busy they were. All of the patrons seemed very happy and appeared to be having a good time, but I couldn't get over the lack of cleanliness with the floors. It makes me think about how the rest of the diner looked.

Get it together, my goodness! Third time I've been in, and over 10 minutes with zero acknowledgement after being told to choose where to sit upon entering..... and none of the tables were bussed, so had to wait at a dirty booth. It used to be such a great place to go enjoy lunch and a slice of pie. What a bummer to have it go down the drain. By the looks of the other patrons, we weren't the only unhappy people. We are outta here. Three strikes, you're out!

Ordered the FLORENTINE BENEDICT.ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! THOUGH THE ONE COMPLAINT IS THAT THE POACHED EGGS WERE OVER DONE.( I LIKE MY POACHED EGGS TO BE RUNNY AS FAR AS THE YOLKS GO, BUT ORDERED THEM TO GO.( MAYBE THE CENTER WAS OVERCOOKED DUE TO TRANSPORT) EITHER WAY DELICIOUS!

So the food is not so bad but it is too plain & simple The ambience is just dirty as you have flies going around and landing on food which is very disgusting in my opinion. The place needs huge improvements. The staff is not the best and attention to the customer is missing! Even if you order when there's no customers you will have to wait a while before getting what you asked for. And the staff forgets things you asked for I would highly recommend going to another restaurant with better ratings overall

We were seated and forgotten about for almost 2 hours. We needed refills but waitresses avoided eye contact so you wouldn't ask for anything. I had my three daughters with me who were very hungry. When my 1 year old started to cry because she was hungry and we had waited for such a long time, the waitresses gave us dirty looks. Two separate customers that arrived and ordered a good 20 minutes after us, received their food before us, even though we were told we were next,so we decided to leave. I have never had anyone be so inconsiderate to children who were hungry and even crying for their food. We left and went to IHOP where we were seated fast and they even gave my kids a fruit bowl on the house while we waited for our food. Big difference in customer service because they actually have friendly waitresses. Never coming here again. Wish I could give 0 stars.
