The chicken and sides were pretty good. We decided to eat there but the inside dining area is small and in dire need of an upgrade. Everything just looks old and worn out. The counter guy helping us did a good job and gave good service. It's definitely better than El Pollo Loco but I would recommend taking your food to go.

Considering I come here at least 3-4 times a month, it's sad I won't be returning. When I was handed my burritos they were just on a plate inside a bad so they're already falling apart. I also noticed how small the bean and cheese burrito was, size of a Taco Bell burrito, I've never had this problem here before. I asked the lady and she said it's because it's only bean and cheese, makes no sense since they've always been about the same size as the regular burrito. Then I only received 3 little salsas and when I asked for more she said I need to pay. Usually you get the big salsa per item you order and she gave an attitude when I asked about it. Will be taking my business elsewhere. And this is how the burrito is wrapped. Come on, do better

Drove here from Beaumont to try it, first thing I saw was a higher price (by $3.00) than was shown on the website, got the 1/2 chicken, very small and overly dry!I'll be sticking to Juan Pollo, larger portions and never dry, live and learn.

Absolutely HORRIBLE!! current website as of 10/28/23 has the jumbo pack quoted at $38.99 (3 whole chickens, three sides and tortillas). Ordered pick up. Arrived at location and bill was $80.00 for aforementioned order. Showed cashier website and she simply replied "that's wrong". In location, original prices had white paper taped over price and $78.99 in pen written in over the jumbo price!!

To start, Maria Pollo was a Juan Pollo at one time. The menu looked the same, the prices were similar. Unfortunately, the food, in my opinion was not as good. I really wanted it to be great because it's much closer to me than Juan Pollo. The chicken, while very tasty, was small, dry, and seemingly overlooked. The beans were ok, the potato salad was very good, the rice was a bit bland. We asked for corn tortillas, but found that we had received flour tortillas when we took them out at home. I wish it had been excellent but it fell short for me, on taste and quality.
