“Sweet place! Been to numerous places like this, but The TRN sets itself apart by providing a cozy, yet open, atmosphere. Golf for any skill level, micro mini putt putt out front and a Quality selection of beverages. The variety of food trucks that come is incredible. The TRN is unique with the new place appeal, as it feels like this place has been around and thriving in Arvada for years, Just a few minutes off the interstate into the parking lot and we ask: ‘how did we miss this?’ This IS the spot!“
“This place is amazing! Perfect spot for a game night, a DND campaign, or a cozy reading day. The food is delicious, the staff is welcoming, and it feels like a fantasy tavern come to life. Whether you like fantasy or sci-fi, or just want a warm homey experience, this is the “
“A true gem not just for Arvada but all Colorado! This is a top notch place to go with friends, family or anyone to unwind and have a great time. The tap house constantly is keeping it fresh both from having live music and event, to an outstanding rotation of food and drinks! Stop by and you will not be disappointed!“
“This is a neighborhood bar where you can get a bucket of beer, play some pool, eat pizza & wings and just gather with friends. This is one of my favorite Free Comedy venues in Arvada. Every Saturday night there is either professional stand up comedy, an open mic or both! Howie's is in a strip mall with plenty of parking. It's not visible from the street, but is across from Rockabilly's, around the corner from the liquor store.“
“Got the firebird - terrific. Pizza is easily enough food for 2 hungry people, possibly 3-4 if getting apps or salads, etc. Bar is decently stocked and the drinks were good.My only complaint would be some of the seating is a little tight. Small place, so understandable though.“
“Nestled in the charming back alleys of Olde Town, Marmalade offers a one-of-a-kind experience that effortlessly combines the spirited ambiance of a bar with the refined touch of a salon. From the moment you step down into this inviting establishment, you're greeted by an atmosphere that is both cozy and exquisite. The bar area is impeccably clean, boasting a design that cleverly allows guests to wander between sipping meticulously crafted cocktails and exploring an array of high-quality salon products. The dual concept is intriguing, offering something truly unique on a block known for its competitive array of eateries and bars.Adding to the charm is the live music, providing a backdrop of nostalgic and soulful tunes that enhance the overall experience without overwhelming conversation. It's a place where you can enjoy the company of those around you, engaging in conversation without the need to raise your voice.Marmalade stands out not just for its novel concept but for creating an environment where every visit feels like a discovery, a place where the night comes alive in the most unexpected and delightful ways. Whether you're there for the drinks, the salon experience, or the sheer joy of finding something new, Marmalade promises an evening that will linger in your memory long after you've ascended back to the bustling streets of Olde Town.Highly recommended for those seeking an evening of relaxation, good music, and great company in a setting that breaks the mold. The evening's drinks were exceptional. The bartender was a skilled craftsman, with stories of drinks and mythical creatures inked onto his arms. Each cocktail he crafted was a masterpiece. The Old-Fashioned and White Russian were prime examples of mixology at its finest - simple yet elegant drinks that required precision and care. Both were perfectly balanced, making the overall experience even better.“
“This place is amazing!! Madison was our server and she was super sweet! She gave us the best service, answered our questions, and just overall very helpful. We came an hour and a half before closing and nobody was rude once closing came. (Respectfully, we did not over stay our welcome). Food is absolutely fantastic, we got the all you can eat. My husband couldn’t stop talking about the wings we got for days. Definitely will be back!!“
“A great venue for this area where there is not much else around for dining. Excellent choices of food where anyone can find something that they like! Comfortable seating areas and some very good drink options from the bar or just sodas. Definitely recommend for a Saturday or Sunday brunch!“
“We live five minutes from Old Town and came here on a Saturday night when there was a whiskey tasting from Talnua distillery. I got a bourbon ball drink, which tasted like a delicious chocolate milkshake and others in our group got other delightful cocktails. The ambience itself is really cool and almost feels like an old Western yet modernized interior. I like how this place is a coffee shop, but also has cocktails and pizza at night. We will definitely be back for pizza in the future. We also had a great time meeting the distillery owners and doing a free tasting and talking for about 30 minutes. Love the vibe of this place!“
“So happy New Image opened a location in Arvada! Walked here after watching a movie at the Harkins Theater nearby, taking time for myself. Got a beer and burger (specifically their Spicy BBQ Burger) impressed by the quality of food. The bartender was fantastic, socializing with all the customers and staying on top of their beverage needs. Lively vibes with a decent amount of seating. I didn't get to explore the whole brewery, because apparently there's a backyard. Need to try their daily specials next time!“
“Okay, first off this is a great open mic. Aaron does an amazing job of setting up and navigating for the performers so they can bring their craft. Also Aaron's band 78 bombs rocks, and Travis runs a great bar. This is a super welcoming environment and everyone is chill. Musicians are all awesome and the vibe is sweet. Felt right at home performing and I gotta tell ya there are some stellar musicians here, however this is also a great place for up and comers to cut their performing teeth. Just an amazing establishment!!!Every other Tuesday night open mic. Don't miss out on a great time!!! Thank you Jake's roadhouse!!!“
“Was torn on the fence for this review - if I could would probably give this place closer to a 3.5 stars but it was a solid meal! I have the Denver Eat & Drink pass and this had a Bogo entree deal. I got the bistro burger (Gouda cheese, applewood smoked bacon, grilled onions, arugula & chipotle avocado crema) and my husband got the Kim's honey chicken (Our Buttermilk fried chicken breast with a spiced honey sauce, pickles and our house jalapeño ranch). The chicken sandwich was by far better - the chicken and seasoning was super flavorful. The burger was just alright for being a "burger bar" - bacon was in flavorful and overall burger lacked salt/flavor in our opinion. The side of sweet potato fries we got were cooked very well although the Frenchies brand of ketchup they carry was much too sweet. In terms of beverages, they had some really good deals. We went on a Monday and after I ordered the pint, I missed they have $3 pints of amber ales on Mondays. We had just come from Denver Beer Co in Old Town, and shockingly the DBC beers were cheaper here than at the brewery! Overall atmosphere was what you'd expect from a chainy restaurant which totally works - bathrooms were clean and our server was super attentive and nice.“
“Great place! I just moved back to Arvada, I feel that I've already found my favorite place also a new Best Friend/My new hair dresser. The bartender is awesome! Kind of a jack of all trades also. Great place to meet some awesome new people, great conversation & verry attentive!“
“Working man's bar. Early morning special, 2 fers. Beer and shot. Friendly atmosphere. Partially enclosed patio, with big fire place.Parking: The parking lot is small, maybe 15-18 spaces. If the lot is full, go by the bar, turn right at the next intersection, and park along the side of the road and walk around to the front of the bar.“
“The food was tasty and the wait staff did a good job. We came in at a quiet time in mid-afternoon so the huge empty room was a bit off-putting. But if you came on a Friday or Saturday night it would be a fine atmosphere.Parking: The Tavern and Grill are close to Arvada Olde town we're parking is very tight. But this place is across Ralston Road and there was plenty of parking.“
“5 star taco restaurant! First time coming here, and the service was so welcoming. I ordered a bunch of different tacos, and they were all so good. Price and portions were on point and well worth it. I thank Big John (our server) for such an amazing time. He served us with a great attitude and was always there if we needed anything. If you like spicy salsa, I highly recommend their Spiciest Salsa because it has a real kick to it. I needed two portions of it. If you are visiting Old Town Arvada, I would definitely make a stop here since it's so accessible to walk to.Parking: Parking lot infront of the restaurant fills up quickly. 2 hr street parking up and down the street though.“
“I really liked this place. When you are reading their gigantic menu all you think about is how expensive everything seems to be. That worry goes away when your plate comes and there is so much food.I have enough for my lunch tomorrow and it was all very good. The cabbage they give you with your chips and salsa is something I have never had before and it was awesome. Our server was so sweet and really good at her job.The best compliment you can pay to a restaurant is to be a return customer. We will definitely be doing that.“
“A bit upsetting to see so many negative reviews simply because this place isn't the vegan restaurant that was previously located here. For what it is - which is an arcade bar with some basic bar snacks - I think it's great. They have some fun cocktails at reasonable prices, and the $6 order of waffle fries was delicious and a steal. The arcade isn't huge, but there's enough to keep you occupied for a bit.Plus they have great ice and the bathroom is another dimension haha“
“Stopped at Bluegrass for snacks before going home after a long day on the road. The apps there are fantastic! Our favorites are the loaded garlic knots and the Italian pinwheels. The loaded garlic knots are topped with cheese, bacon and jalapenos and served with a side of tasty red sauce that tastes almost like barbecue sauce had a love child with marinara, yum! The live music was really good and added to the atmosphere nicely. The service was prompt and friendly. We topped the visit off with an order of bread pudding, it was soooooo good, but would have been perfect with a scoop of pecan praline ice cream. The bourbon caramel sauce was superb! Good time, great food and an excellent place to stop and hang out with top shelf drinks. I look forward to going back!“
“12 Volt Tavern is the best dive bar in Olde Town Arvada. It's has a very eclectic vibe and great bartenders. You would be wasting a grand opportunity to enjoy the locals of the area as well as the bartenders. Ruthie, Megan, Kristina and Amber will provide the flowing drinks and entertainment. Don't forget to drink responsibly.“
“Really like this place. Previously had only been there for lunch but came for dinner this time to try the prime rib. Waitress was super friendly & attentive. Prime rib, sides & dessert were very great. I also recommend the Chile Rellanos which rock.“
“Great food, Love the 2 new baja taco choices! Service use to be great, but now they are almost always seriously understaffed. 1 person to run front of house in busy olde town just doesn't cut it. Been an issue I've seen at this location for at leat 8 months now. The staff is awesome doing their best with the little help they have.“
“Great food, the staff was friendly, worked their butts off to make everyone happy and great music. The only complaint I have is, when I receive my bill, I was charged $2.50 per cup of ice water, not a bottle of water, ice water in a cup. They need to let people know they will be charged for that or, start selling bottled water! I was not happy when I saw the bill, that is just taking advantage of their customers!“
“It is hard to share this experience as I was the only person there. They had only started lunch service recently and there was a limited lunch menu. However, the service was very good and so was the food. More people need to try this restaurant for lunch.Parking: Parking is ok.“
“One other person and I did a tour of the facility and a tasting of several different whiskeys. Our host was incredibly knowledgeable and made things really interesting. I've done half a dozen distillery tours in the past, and this one was the most genuine; it wasn't commercial or fake feeling. This is a real, small local distillery and they care about everything they do!“
