I injured myself before our annual snow trip and just spent the days chilling at Powder 8 while my friends boarded. I ordered a hot chocolate with Jameson and it was $17.. a little steep, but honestly it was really good so I can't complain. We typically pack our own lunches, and they didn't mind that we snacked with our food while paying for drinks. A great place to relax when you're not boarding. Definitely gets crowded at lunch time. Massive place at the base of the mountain. Had live music one night and can sit outside (self seating at least in the spring) to bring your own stuff or grab food/beer and enjoy the views and firepit. This is where there are fresh cookies brought out in the afternoon.When I went food wasn’t available but the bar was open and very reasonably priced for the location! Great casual spot to put your feet up!
