Massive place at the base of the mountain. Had live music one night and can sit outside (self seating at least in the spring) to bring your own stuff or grab food/beer and enjoy the views and firepit. This is where there are fresh cookies brought out in the afternoon.When I went food wasn’t available but the bar was open and very reasonably priced for the location! Great casual spot to put your feet up!

The outside patio by the fire pit is a great spot to watch skiers and snowboarders take runs down the mountain. Or, grab an inside spot to watch some live music (which they have on most afternoons). I injured myself before our annual snow trip and just spent the days chilling at Powder 8 while my friends boarded. I ordered a hot chocolate with Jameson and it was $17.. a little steep, but honestly it was really good so I can't complain. We typically pack our own lunches, and they didn't mind that we snacked with our food while paying for drinks. A great place to relax when you're not boarding. Definitely gets crowded at lunch time. Outdoor seating is available, and they have a fire place which is nice. Also at 3pm, a cookie guy comes to give out cookies which was icing on the cake!

Five employees were standing around playing on their phones and nobody would take our order. We asked repeatedly, and they looked up briefly before returning to the phones. Waste of time. Much better options are around rather than paying $30 for a burger here.

Powder 8 is a great mid-day lunch lodge for skiers and snowboarders alike. Compared to mid mountain lodges, Powder 8 stands out. Plenty of comfortable seating (never had to make a reservation, and still got to sit down whenever I wanted to), many food options (burgers, chicken, pizza, asian, etc), and live music every day too! When visiting Beaver Creek, I recommend that Powder 8 is the place for you.

f*** vail, f*** the staff, bathrooms top notch. got superb plumbing unfortunately a girl boss kicked us out while i was down here with my team for a ski race. she prefers we change outside in the -10 weather instead of the lodge where we've been getting ready for years. little does she know my parents will sue and f*** her to death. have fun without a job. L + ratio

Terrible online presence. I wanted to see what their menu was for lunch after skiing and clicking on the like takes you to Hyatt resort. Guess I won't be eating there.

A very limited option of food served in a way that limited the value in that food. It was sufficient for a quick bite and a beer, but better options exist nearby if you're willing to tromp around in your ski boots.
