Food was excellent, service was not. After we each ordered an appetizer and cocktail, our dinners were placed by waiter helpers and we finished our dinners before our waiter came back and asked if we wanted wine or checked in on us (at least 20 mins). He did get a large table placed, but someone should have helped him. The $78 lamb was expensive but amazing. The $82 Dover sole was expensive and ….just ok and definitely not worth the insane price.
I have lived in the Beaver Creek area for over 30 years, and Spanos is still by far the best restaurant in the area. The food and service are outstanding. Ambience is exceptional.

From the moment you walk into the restaurant it is in a chalet. It is absolutely magnificent. The bread was so fresh and they had a honey butter that was delicious. We had Hamachi and octopus appetizer. Both were absolutely fabulous for the main course. It was a decision between the Dover soul, or the halibut.
