Finally made it and glad we made reservations as it was packed since it was peak time Friday evening. Spoke with Koji-san, the owner, while we were waiting for our table and he also stopped by each table to check on them which we thought was great. We had the takoyaki, kaisen-mix okonomiyaki and the spicy miso ramen. All came within a reasonable amount of time and were delicious! Koji-san explained the background of offering takoyaki, which was so interesting and great for him to share. We will definitely be back to try the other menu items, esp their sushi, which looked delicious! Great to see a business busy and doing well!”

“PERFECT New Year's Eve at Cafe Aion. While the 4 course NYE special was very enticing we decided to have the WEDNESDAY paella and bottle of Spanish wine special. Such an inviting and warm staff and ambience. While many Boulder dining restaurants set time limits and hefty upfront cancel fees within 24 hours of dining, Cafe Aion shines above them all with a true Spanish cafe feel.”

“Best Christmas decorations EVER! My wife and I rarely eat at Czech/German beer gardens like this since my wife doesn’t eat pork (and I don’t get kisses for a week if I eat any), but after a joyfully exhausting day of meandering around Pearl Street on New Year’s Day, we passed this place on the way back to our car and our jaws dropped when we peered through the window. We didn’t care if the food was any good (though we figured it must be because the place was packed), as we were more than willing to pay just for the atmosphere!

The food ended up being outstanding, as was the service (props to Moira and the bartender for taking great care of us) and the beer. I was going to order a Paulaner Hefeweizen, then noticed the Honey Bite that adds some cider and Bjorn’s Colorado honey to the Hefeweizen. Highly recommended!

This is our new favorite spot in Boulder. Check it out, even if you aren’t in town during the holiday season to enjoy their amazing decorations.

On a side note, they have an awesome banquet hall in the back of the building that has its own bar and stage area. I'm really tempted to talk my colleagues into driving up to Boulder for our next work party!”

“Went in for lunch a couple days ago with a friend for a couple of burgers. There was one server, one cook, maybe a dishwasher. It was not busy but wanted to give a thumbs up to our waitress cheyenne. She was so polite thoughtfull kind. I felt bad that she was on her own as hostess server busses and we left her a 50% tip now I wish I would have left 100%. Next time I'm in there im sure I will. If the manager reads this, give her a raise, she deserves it!!”

“A star down just coz the restaurant doesn’t serve that amazing Momo chutney/sauce they served at their stall during the Nepali Indra Jatra festival today. It was EXCELLENT and authentic. The sauce they serve at the restaurant is a dumbed down version. I get it that they need to cater to different palettes but I seriously think they need the start serving the real tomato timur/pepper chutney they served today. It took their momos to next level. I would be a regular there if they did. We don’t go as often coz the chutney always disappoints.

I sure hope you guys read this and bring that authentic chutney as an option for those of us who know the real stuff.”

“I’ve been using Skratch for awhile. Switch between it and Tailwind but I prefer Skratch for my marathon training. The carb/ sodium ratio is exactly what I need for my fall race. The passion fruit guava is amazing. Wish it was not a limited edition flavor. All of the flavors are great as well. Definitely recommend Skratch”

First, the service has been flawless each time I have gone and all employees seem very invested in their jobs (and doing it the best). The sushi is excellent and it's obvious that they have a great provider and take pride in that. The appetizers here are not to be skipped as there is much attention put to making these dishes as they are in Japan and not American-ized like others in town. And last, it's hard not to be in a good mood with the buzzing atmosphere and well designed rooms. Checks all boxes for me. Solo diners - sit at the sushi bar, it's dinner AND a show :)”

“This family owned and operated restaurant is a must visit. The food is so tasty and flavorful. Using organic corn, they hand make their own masa. It really pays of in the flavor or their tacos, gorditas, and quesadillas. The veggies are locally sourced. The meat is roasted and cooked to perfection. The prices are also very affordable! At the time of this review, they did not have their liquor license, but we were allowed to bring in our own beer, which we brought in from a local brewery. The goal is to have margaritas and more once they get their license. I highly recommend this place, for lunch or dinner, for a date or for the family. I will be sure to return. *No photos of food because we ate it too fast, but it was super yummy! We tried the chips and guacamole, the burrito with barbacoa, and and combination plate. Even the rice and beans sides were delicious!”

“Pleasant surprise- very humble looking place, but clean and neat with red Chinese lanterns hanging from the ceiling. We ordered a number of entrees, then passed them around using the lazy susan in the middle of the table. All SO tasty! Especially the green beans and veggie dumplings. Extra rice was brought on request. Not exactly inexpensive, but we had gone to celebrate a birthday and left satisfied and happy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wait time was short and reasonable.”

“Ordered sushi (Denver, California and shrimp tempura rolls) and general chicken for the family. I ordered online and picked it up. Order was ready at the time requested. Employee was very friendly and made sure everything was correct and it was. I requested no wasabi and gluten free soy sauce. Food was hot and delicious! Yurihana is a favorite for my family. Been going there since 2012. Never had a bad experience.”

“Great food and service! It was easy, delicious, fast, and pretty good sized portions. I loved everything I tried which was the summer roll, the Banh Mi sandwich and the Lemongrass Tofu Pho. The brownie was great too as well as the Fruit Smoothie! I added my favorite spices to the Pho which made it phenomenal! Love the fresh veggies and noodles in the Pho. The sauce on the Banh Mi was so good! This will be my go-to place whenever I'm in Boulder. Can't wait to go back and try more items! The views were stunning, and what really made the visit stand out was our server, Dylan. He truly went above and beyond—he even handed me an extra lemonade to take with me on the way out. On top of that, he arranged for the chef to prepare a bison burger for lunch, which is usually only available at dinner. I brought along two business guests, and they were equally impressed by both the food and the overall atmosphere. All in all, it was a fantastic dining experience. Definitely worth a visit!”
