Ordered carry out, the young staff seemed more interested in flirting with each other than customer service. The boy couldn’t walk right due to his sagging pants with underwear hanging out. Both he and the female host didn’t check my order and of course it wasn’t correct. I’ll be double checking in the future because customer service isn’t a priority here.

Had an awful experience here and had to share. Ordered a bowl of pho and asked for a side of chili oil. They brought me chili paste(sambal) and told me chili oil just as a tiny bit would be 1.25 extra. Every pho place I have ever been to has chili oil. It’s a total scam for them to charge. I am a not asking for a hot and spicy broth just a pinch of oil to add a little kick. Afterwards I asked if I would be charged for pepper because none was on the table. She told me to lose the attitude. Horrible service for a manager. Pho was alright would have been better with some chili oil.

Perfect spot to grab a yummy bowl of Pho. Prompt service, quick delivery of meal to table, friendly servers, nice ambiance. Had the beef Pho with veggies (mushrooms and bok choy). Good prices too.

I was always huge Black Pepper Pho fan, my husband, not so much so. Today I convinced him to give it another try. We ordered directly from their website, both getting Tofu Bun bowls. The food was ready on time, we were so hungry so we got home and were excited to eat. As soon as we opened our containers we saw that there were no egg rolls (as listed on their online menu), our favorite part! I called the restaurant to tell them these were missing and I was just told "they don't come with the bun bowls". I explained to them that they are listed on the menu as part of the tofu bun bowl and they nonchalantly again told me "they don't come with them". Well now we are stuck eating bland tasting boring bun bowls and there will be no convincing my husband again to give it another shot, there are better options where you can get a proper bun bowl, WITH EGGROLLS!

A tasty, streamlined selection of pho and bun, with a few specialty stir fry plates. Black pepper has a decent selection of vegetarian option.

Perhaps this restaurant gives a better experience dining in, but picking up take-out is extremely disorganized. We had a fairly simple order of 6 Pho bowls and the new young girl up front acted as though it was a giant headache that would take an hour to complete. We waited 15 minutes beyond our quoted 30 minute time just to be given the wrong order. We took it back and had to wait another 15 minutes for the correct order. We had taken the wrong order out of the restaurant before we realized it was wrong. I feel for the man who came in and picked up his order unknowing that someone else had already picked through the order. The girl handed us the correct order without a single apology. Seems like they’ve had a turnover in staff and have a lot of training to do. On the plus side, the younger kid with blonde hair is really friendly. The food was decent but the chicken in the pho was almost inedible it was so hard to chew. I picked all of it out. Do not eat here if you have a limited lunch break. Don’t order the chicken. And don’t order more than 1-2 bowls at a time. There are way better Pho options around town.

We've been ordering takeout from here for years and had been very happy with it. In the past year the bun that my husband always orders sometimes comes with an egg roll and other times it doesn't. The menu says: "Choice of: chicken, pork, or beef. Served with a pork egg roll, rice noodles, lettuce, cucumber," etc.I finally called tonight to say that we don't always get the egg roll, as was the case tonight. The guy who answered said they haven't served an egg roll with the bun for three years and asked if we used Skipli to order. I told him we went through their web site to order. He said that we must have used Skipli and that menu is wrong. This place used to have good food and friendly customer service, I guess not so much anymore.

While I've only eaten there once, Black Pepper seems like a solid pho restaurant.I had the large combo pho and was pleased with the amount of meat in the dish. Particularly the tripe, there were some nice big pieces which I love. The meatballs were cut up, which may or may not be to your style. There was no option for chicken broth and the steak was pre-cooked, not rare.My companion got the vegetarian pho and it looked delicious. The Viet coffee was good ?Vegetarian options: There's one main vegetarian dish, the veggie pho, but it's really good.

Wow, am just finding out about this place now! The food is pretty incredible at least as far as the Pho goes, especially with the hot and spicy broth as an added option! Incredible!I highly suggest this place you will not be disappointed!
