Carelli's has delicious food and a warm atmosphere. The restaurant bar is always busy. It has an upscale appeal with a reasonable price point. The staff are always friendly. There is a gas fireplace in the middle of the restaurant and on cold nights it is so AWESOME! It will be freezing outside and you walk in to the smells of cooking garlic and olive oil, friendly smiles, and yummy food. The food was excellent- the mixed seafood with linguine was out of this world. However the kitchen was either overwhelmed or disorganized - or both. A single meatball ordered as a side to my friend's entree arrived by itself 20 minutes (no lie) prior to the entrees for the table. A little comical. Nonetheless we give it high marks with the asterisk that you have to be prepared for inconsistent timing from the kitchen.
