A very mixed review - service and food were excellent. Dining room was noisy and crowded - tables were too close together. The back of my chair was bumped several times imes by servers attending to the table behind me.As stated, the food was excellent. I was however dismayed that my "rack of lamb" consisted of two single lamb chops, one baby potato that was sliced in half, a very small piece of charred red onion and 4 small sliced of cucumber - absolutely ridiculous for the price it cost. Although delicious, the portion was ridiculous. Gnocchi and Hamachi were tasty.

What a lovely dining experience this was! Our waiter Connor was a gem and very attentive! My partner had the best pork chop he’s had in his life, and I had a cocktail that was one of the most creative and delicious I’ve ever had! (Golden Rule, highly recommend!) We very much enjoyed our experience and would go there again!

Oak is a fine dining experience. Our food was good, very good, but not outstanding. Service likewise was very good, but not outstanding. We shared a burata salad, and the meatball entree, whixh were very good. We used to love sitting at the bar overlooking the front kitchen. Except they took out the grill, so it loat all of its allure. Nothing was bad per se, except it wasn't as outstanding as it was previously.

Service was terrible Waitress must have been new Sat down and ordered a drink with my wife Before our drinks arrive we were asked if we wanted to order dinner Total rush and second round of drinks had to remind the waitress Manager was good as he did comp my drink Just really bad as I do not think she was ready

I just felt like the scallops were not seared enough they were very pale... And the salmon didn't present itself as well as it did last time... My first time and I was extremely impressed and not so much my second time

1. the 30$ gnocchi app was not well done. tasty but bad technique. Black on one side seemed more like a French gnocchi then an Italian style, sauce to soupy and a minuscule amount of rib 2. Meatballs for 27$ tasty but lacking in depth of flavor the service was great. overall to expensive for the food. Immature food, not enough thought and finish to the dishes. the gnocchi was a glaring example not enough oversize by chef.

Great food, great service. STOP with the extra 5% tacked on at the end. Just change the price on the menu. The COVID pandemic is no longer an excuse to add an extra charge for no reason.

Had the Valentine's Dinner with the beverage pairings. We had all of the items offered on the menu. A few of the dishes were underwhelming, the beverage pairings weren't very thought out. Service was great, ambience was wonderful. Was a bit disappointed by this experience. I've eaten here a few times before and love what they do for their regular menu.

Everything was great, from the hostess, to our server, to the food & drinks But when the bill came there was a 5% "Market surcharge charge due to the current market circumstances." What does that even mean? I should have asked but I didn't want to put our server in an awkward situation. To be fair the surcharge is mentioned at the bottom of the menu but it's in the small print & why would I expect a surcharge? Why not just increase your prices to cover your costs? If the listed price of the meal were 5% higher we still would have eaten there, it was worth it, & the restaurant would've gotten paid what they needed to be paid. But instead I expected to pay one price & was surprised (again, it is listed on the menu as I mentioned above). It seems that all too many companies are adding fees and you have to read all the fine print to discover the real cost. It just irks me that they won't give you the real price up front. So as long as you know about the surcharge & where to look you won't be surprised and you should enjoy a dinner there.

Great service, bread was phenomenal, but $47 for a short rib dinner that an avg. person can finish in 4-5 bites? Come on. And why are non-alcoholic drinks nearly the same price as alcoholic ones ($12-$14)?

Oak on 14th didn't quite hit the spot like it has in the past. Food was fine, nothing spectacular, but what was more irritating was a surprise 5% service fee that was charged on top of our meal. When asked, I was told it didn't go to staff, merely covered the cost of inflation. Why not just adjust the prices on the menu so diners know what they are in for? Seems shady to me. After that, I don't think we will be returning.

The cocktails are sweeter than I thought and the pana cotta is perfect.Highly recommend the duck with the lentils- the spice level is perfect.
