Ordered takeout at 5:25. Was quoted 30-35 min so I arrived at 6:00. I was told I was early but it was in the works. They also didn’t have the garlic knots I ordered when I paid so I had to re-order those. Fast forward 35 minutes and I inquire about my order. I’m told I was quoted 40 minutes and “they’re working in it”. Then the rude employee who would rather talk over people than listen finds my cold pizza that’s probably been sitting the entire time I’ve been waiting and hands it to me. Several others in line waiting were having the same experience. Long story long… I waited over an hour for cold mediocre pizza.

My wife and I have been coming to Stumpy's since it was a "takeout/buy a slice" joint in a strip mall off of Founder's. I'm from Queens NY and grew up on NY pies. This is the best in Colorado. (Honorary mention goes to Big Bill's.) Interestingly enough, my wife absolutely loves the burgers too. She claims they are better than most of the "high end" burgers in Castle Rock restaurants. The team does a great job, particularly since they, like everyone else, are having trouble attracting new employees. It's a sign of the times and Stumpy's does a great job of dealing with it. I guess it's been 10 years or so of eating Stumpy's pies. The best "test case" for a real NY pie is to order plain cheese. That way you get the pure deal. Of course, the toppings are fun too.

Their Motzerrella Sticks and marinara are divine! Their pizzas are delicious! Their hamburgers are great and the thousand island dressing makes them perfecto‼ Stumpy's maranara is the first maranara sauce I've had that does NOT set my chest on fire due to acid reflux. I am so elated that I have finally found a maranara sauce that does not aggravate my stomach Thank you for being such great people and helping me out with my take out. My spine was mangled in a very bad accident and the fusions and the surgeries I have had were failed back surgeries except for the first surgery. I have permanent nerve damage and it is hard for me to walk. I fight everyday to keep walking, but my spine screams at me when I walk too far. Therefore, I truly appreciate your help with my orders. Awesome people who are employed by Stumpy's and the food, as well as, the atmosphere are all top of the line in my opinion. You have earned my respect and my business.

Some of the best Pizza out there. Anytime my parents drove through Castle Rock growing up we always made an effort to stop at Stumpy's (10-12 years ago) now that my wife and I have lived here for almost 3 years we always love getting some Stumpy's pizza. Would highly recommend!

I'm from Utah and we were in town for the Thanksgiving weekend. My in-laws wanted some pizza the day after Thanksgiving, so we picked some up from here on their recommendation. It immediately shot to the top 5 best pizza I've had! Very good and no complaints. So good, I'll be craving this again! Too bad it's 10 hours away!

Would give a 0 for service if I could. Ordered garlic Parmesan wings. They handed we Buffalo wings with no Parmesan. I told them the order was wrong and they told me their garlic Parmesan is Buffalo based….then advertise you don’t actually make those and it’s spicy Buffalo. In front of me the rude staff shook Parm on it and said “fixed”. Total joke and insanely worse customer service. I’d let that cook go…and change your description of your food to reflect your wings are indeed Buffalo and you don’t serve garlic Parmesan. Gross experience there…Pizza Hut across the street would have been better than this place. Save your money.
