“Cool place with an old time atmosphere. I didn't do much here, just had a drink and left, but the bartender was someone who had lived in the city for a while and was interesting to talk to. There is a casino and games, with food and full bar.”

“This step back into time was glorious. Millie’s is old-school to say the least. Take a walk up to the spacious second floor and enjoy a delicious, well-priced meal. The breakfast burrito smothered in green chilis was perfect in every way. It’s a quiet place with what looks like a lot of locals, but we were taken care of by some veteran servers. “The staff was very friendly and helpful - they split a veggie sub sandwich for us. We also shared a beautiful colorful and fresh salad. Fast service in spite of being busy. And, the prices are very reasonable - includes a free drink! I will definitely return and spread the word.”

“This is, by far, my favorite place in Central City to both gamble and enjoy their yummy beers. I love the history and preservation of the old buildings, and Dostal Alley has its own unique charm. Service has always been great. I skip Blackhawk (the sterile money pit) and continue the extra mile to C.C.”

“I live in Longmont and when I go into the mountains from I-70 I stop here. The fountain drinks are good enough to stop. It’s best to go with a few people to try their variety of dogs and Italian beef. You will not be disappointed and you will become a regular.Wheelchair accessibility: Nice ramp to the front door”

“A very unique place to go for an amazing treat up in the mountains! An unlikely location in a small town just south of Nederland- nothing more than a corner in the road and several buildings. But nestled in a scenic valley that adds to the charm of a small garage pizzeria. Eight or nine solid local and craft beers in the can. Several wines. Large salads... and excellent brussel sprouts that are grilled in the pizza oven and topped with a creamy lemon aioli and pecorino cheese. Pizzas are thin crust, unique toppings, both red and white sauces. Just excellent chewey thin crust that you can't leave on the plate. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique experience and setting only 35 to 40 minutes up above Boulder.”

“Stopped in on my cross-country road trip and was really happy I did! The pizza was really tasty with a good amount of toppings. The crust also tasted good - I did not have any honey to try on the crust, though I still enjoyed it.”

“The Irish coffees are strong and the food is fresh! Go for the chicken and waffles or the Colorado Bennie and you will lick the plate! Bonus is that they take reservations (but don’t require them) and have room for large parties. Super cool booths with high backs gives lots of privacy. Full bar.”

“We had some time to kill on the way back to the airport from the ski areas so we decided to stop in Idaho Springs to walk around. We stumbled across Main Street Restaurant and I’m so glad we decided to stop. They offer a full menu (breakfast, lunch, dinner) all day. I can honestly say I had the best omelet I’ve ever eaten! It was the corned beef omelet with rye toast snd grits. Everything was perfect.You can’t go wrong here. I highly recommend it!”

“Walked here from the Tesla supercharger! The cinnamon stinger is the beverage of choice for sure! Their blueberry bagel w/ crm cheese was terrific. Their quiche was totally undercooked - I was so bummed. I only ate the filling which wasn't much. I wish I would have gotten the breakfast burrito. Super cute vibe here. ❤️”

“Found this place on Google while passing through from Winter Park to Denver. Needed breakfast and decided to try it. Customer service was great, friendly and offered suggestions on what to eat and things to do in the area. I ordered sweet tea with 2 pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. The 2 pancakes were huge. It was all really food.”

“I was dying for a turkey sandwich and they had gluten free bread, best day ever! It was delicious and its a cool spot, there's notes on the walls written on napkins and receipts. The people who worked there were happy and kind. Perfect spot to eat before going up higher in the mountains”

“We had a group of 4. Michelle was our waitress. She was very nice and very attentive. I had the cheeseburger with green chili and hand cut fries. My husband had a loaded pizza. The food was prepared by Michelle and Roy. It was hot, fresh and delicious. We got to meet the infamous Roy and his wife Barbara. Both were very nice and Roy kept us laughing and smiling the entire time. He went out of his way to spend time with us and even invited us to see his immaculate kitchen. We had so much fun and will definitely visit again.”

“Wow! We heard about this place from our kids who went and loved it. After a lovely hike up to St. Mary’s glacier, we stopped by for an early lunch. The place is low frills, but the bbq and sides were AWESOME! Very friendly staff, nice beers on tap - and the place was hopping by the time we left. Highly recommend!!”

“No actual buffalo at the Buffalo Bar, FYI. They took the Buffalo Burger off the menu, which was the only reason I used to go there. Other than that, in my recent visit (Mar'23) the food and service were fine, except the seating/hostess stand process was oddly overcomplicated and lengthy, even without a line.”

“My girlfriend and I were on a shuttle from The Denver airport to Breck and got stuck here in Idaho Springs amidst the massive snowstorm. Our group collectively decided to go to Safeway to see if we could get some booze. We were turned away due to it just closing at 10PM, but a nice gentleman said, “I’d be happy to re-open the restaurant for you guys.” Nicest folks let us in and served us plenty of drinks and food. Fantastic spot with great people. Recommend every time.”
