“This is one of our favorite Indian restaurants. We had Chicken 65, Saag Paneer, and Garlic Naan for dinner and everything was so flavorful. They use chicken thighs for the entree and it was so moist and juicy. They didn't double check when we asked for "hot" dishes, and they came out very spicy. Just like we like it!!”
“Don't believe these negative reviews at all. I eat here weekly. I lived in the middle east for quiet a few years with the military. The food is exceptional the place is spotless and you can't get a better staff. They even have their own grocery store so if you like it. You can buy it and make it at home. Great place for sure.”
“My wife and I stopped here before going to Garden of the Gods while in town for a conference. Based on reviews, we expected a good sandwich, but what we got was an amazing experience in every way! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, the food is delicious, and to top it off, we sat at the humble patio in the back and enjoyed the view of Pikes Peak and the surrounding mountains while we ate. My wife is gluten-free and the locally made gluten free bread they use is incredible. Highly recommend!”

“This was my first time here and it certainly won't be my last. The staff were absolutely outstanding, and the food did not disappoint at all. Do not miss the Elote appetizer with the Crema and the queso fresco they are fire. It has a nice bite with it due to the lime juice that I've never had before,that was a five star hit. My server informed me that they were famous for their Birra tacos and had several dishes in that theme. I chose the birra quesadilla. The roast beef inside was tender and juicy. The flower tortilla was crisp and flavorful. They do not skimp on portions there was enough meat in this entrée to be a pot roast dinner. I can't wait to go back..”

“Love this place so much! I’m not usually a fan of chain restaurants but my favorite thing about this place is the fact that they source locally as much as they can. We have been here a few times now and every single time it has been great. The food and service are consistently good. Every server we have had was amazing. I used to work in restaurant industry for years so I notice the little things. I love to see multiple managers on the floor talking to customers, refilling drinks, running food. One server I have to point out is Jennifer, she’s never actually been our server but always remembers us, specifically my daughter who was having a meltdown one day and she offered to bring her a bowl of fruit. And we weren’t even in her section. Great service, thank you!”

“Walking into this dining room was like walking into a 1950's ballroom! There are chandeliers, gorgeous wall paper, beautiful wall paintings, a winding staircase, valets, busboys, and a host of individuals all ready and available to serve your every need. Oh, and an exit to a view of the lake surrounded by the mountains. Once you enter the dining area, there are neverending stations such as a breakfast station with a chef creating made to order omelettes, two desert stations, a prime rib station, and seafood station with shrimp, crab, oysters, and even sushi! This was an absolutely unforgettable experience.”

Our server was Jaime and she had not only taken good care of use but everyone else based on the smiles with her interactions with them. My partner’s food came out burnt the first time but Immediately as we mentioned it our waitress notified her boss and had the kitchen remake which came out much better and was able to be enjoyed. Not only did she help us out with the food but offered compensation and was very kind and welcoming to the feedback. I really appreciate people like Jaime who go above and beyond, will definitely be returning soon!”

“Upon exiting the elevator, I got to see the smiling faces of the hosts, so eager and excited to see us. Paula was absolutely amazing, and the smiles were a breath of fresh air after a long drive.
Rachel was our server and her joy brought an amazing atmosphere to our table that lingered through the meal. She helped me pick an amazing choice of Thai Cod out on their menu. She brought our drinks out quickly and efficiently.
Dacota was amazing as well, always quick to refill our waters and was so happy to help us bag our meals at the end.
Clair was also amazing, wowing us as she made our Caesar salad at our very table, indulging in small talk as to not make the silence awkward.
The head chef was a master of their art and every bite was a masterpiece.
All in all, I would recommend the Penrose room, not just for the food, but for the atmosphere where I felt like a VIP even though I was not an overnight guest.”

We stopped in on a Tuesday and were pleasantly surprised to find happy hour running from 4pm to close (yes, all night!). The Drink of the Week was a total standout—The Myagi Blossom, made with gin, Aperol, honey lavender, and lemon, topped with boba. Light, balanced, and not too sweet—just right. It was fun, creative, and refreshing. We sampled several small plates and honestly, they were more generous than expected. Highlights: the perfectly crispy arancini, the hummus plate (topped with caramelized onions and served with warm bread, carrots, and cucumbers—my personal favorite), patatas vovo (a delicious spin on a classic), and the artichoke de fritas, which were divine. For cocktails, the Sazerac had a bold nod to New Orleans—traditional with a whisper of absinthe that hit all the right notes. I ended the night with a dirty vodka martini served with blue cheese-stuffed olives—beautifully done. We also shared an affogato for dessert, which was the perfect finish. Service was also top-notch—our server handled both the bar and our table with ease, making us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for. This place is a gem. I had the Pan Seared Verlasso Salmon, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. My wife ordered the Pub Masters’ Brisket Melt, which was rich and flavorful. We started with cocktails; a King’s Old Fashioned for me and a Bee Sting for her; both spot on.
But the star of the night was dessert: the Dark Chocolate Coffee Whiskey Cake. Honestly, it’s beyond description! A decadent, balanced, and the perfect ending to an outstanding meal.

We ordered the Italian Sausage Sandwich & Fries, for the kids - the half portion of Mac n Cheese and half portion of Spaghetti - I had a House Salad and added Breaded Chicken, and the Calamari (some items were dug into before I had the chance to snap a photo 😌). Everything was absolutely delicious! Even my picky eaters enjoyed their meals! The restaurant is beautifully decorated, bright, welcoming, and clean! “We were in Colorado Springs for the Fallen Firefighter Memorial, and I was looking for gluten-free food and came upon Sasquatch cookies. Not only did they have a GF-friendly chocolate chip cookie, they package them individually to prevent cross-contamination. My husband picked up a half-dozen - we weren't expecting the cookies to be the size of my face! (That's not a complaint, btw!) No worries - I was having a "cheat" weekend on my diet! But OMG they were SO GOOD! And I love that some of the proceeds support services for the unhoused; that's important too.”
“This is one of our favorite Indian restaurants. We had Chicken 65, Saag Paneer, and Garlic Naan for dinner and everything was so flavorful. They use chicken thighs for the entree and it was so moist and juicy. They didn't double check when we asked for "hot" dishes, and they came out very spicy. Just like we like it!!”
