“After seeing so many positive comments about Angie's Latin Food, I finally made plans to visit for lunch today. I went with some friends who look to me for great restaurant picks. I scored additional points today!Angie's is a clean, modern, well designed restaurant. We were greeted upon entering, and I explained it was our first visit. The lady at the counter was so friendly and helpful with answering all of our questions about the different dishes and ingredients.I ordered the pastelitos and a pupusa with horchata to drink. Friends...this was so good! All of it! And filling and VERY reasonably priced. One of my friends couldn't decide what to get, so he ordered like 5 different dishes. He tried so hard to eat it all, but it was just more than any human should eat at one sitting.“
“Food: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Drinks: 5/5 Ummmm why has it taken me so long to check out this place?!?! I've spoken to several people who recommended PigLatin for great drinks and food and, for whatever reason, I just never made it over there. Well, that ended last night. I had family visiting from out of town and decided that we'd come here for dinner and drinks. With happy hour being from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m., I figured we could catch the tail end of it if we got there at 5 and then enjoy dinner after. It was a bit smaller than I expected with tables and bar seating for about 40 people inside and another 30 outside. The outside seats had heaters which made them a lovely option during the cooler months We were taken care of by Ryan who went above and beyond to ensure our entire party of 5 was happy. He even accommodated a request to sit elsewhere bc my mom couldn't manage on the bar stools and got us seated at a table with chairs. The "happy hour" only applies to the house margarita, which I was a bit disappointed by but got over very quickly when I tried the house margaritas and LOVED them (I think I had 3). I ordered the yuca fries and chicharron for the table and LISTEN when I tell you the family unit just couldn't stop eating either. We ended up ordering two more rounds of these tasty sides and I vowed to myself that I'd be back to enjoy these more frequently (starting next week!). The family ordered an assortment of food and all enjoyed their meals from the empanadas to the pork chops and the chimi shrimp tacos. The portions were large enough that they were all filled and we were able to bring home some leftovers. The fact that my CARIBBEAN family loved the culinary experience is a testament to how well seasoned the food was. The only critique was that the empanadas were too salty. I think I'm going to become a regular at this spot because I think I've found my new foodie home. See ya in a few days PigLatin!“
“Some of the most fire Mexican food in the Springs I’ve had yet. Carne asada was gas, enchiladas verdes buss, and the churros filled with strawberry are my favorite. Def would eat everything on the menu here if i could but probably will end up doing so over time. Sweet and speedy service.“
“Fantastic meal with great food and perfect service. Bartender made an amazing drink for me since I couldn't decide what I wanted. Just told her something with Bourbon and it was perfect. Music was just a little louder than I would like for a nice quiet meal.“
“I’ve been coming here since the first owner had it and this place never disappoints! I always love getting their Trifongo con pollo a la plancha. (Mashed plantains with grilled chicken breast). Their food is always good and their servers are really nice. They serve everything from Puerto Rican food to Cuban and honduran food. This is a great place to go if you want to try authentic Latin cuisine.Parking: There’s plenty of parking spots because this restaurant is located in a shopping center.“
