Increasing prices for paying almost $15 an hour for servers is understandable. However, charging an automatic 20% gratuity on top of the increased prices is a double expense that I will not pay again.

A must do at the Broadmoor in need of an updated menu or more thoughtful preparation of current offerings. Way overstaffed and yet still felt like we had to track down assistance. That said, our group had a great time singing the evening away.

Can't say much except this place is extremely over rated. Poor and slow service and in exchange they charge a 20% service fee to all customer bills. Had to send back a meal because it was served very burnt. They didn't expedite the replacement meal so it showed after the rest of the table was done eating. And the food didn't even taste good. It's basically an extremely over priced bar. Very noisy and not at all worth it.

Delicious food, excellent service, live piano music was fun too! Love the bees that get thrown at you, so you can relive the memories later. Amazing that the bar and the intricate woodwork was transported from New York! I always visit the Golden Bee when I stay at the Broadmoor- my favorite!!!

We were staying at the Broadmoor and decided to try The Golden Bee ? so glad we did. Loved the lively vibe that was felt as soon as we walked in. The piano player was amazing. Our waitress came and brought us the complimentary cheese spread...so yummy. I ordered the lamb shank, so delicious! I also ordered a mocktail called the Bees cobbler. It was great! I can't wait to return.

I made reservations five weeks in advance and when we arrived they offered us a table that was in the isle next to a column. After showing how displeased I was with the table the manager moved us to a nice table and provided us with very nice service.

The server we had was incredible and very attentive. However, the food was just subpar, I got the kabobs and the peppers were burnt crispy black, the green sauce just tasted like watered down vinegar. Overall, I was quite disappointed due to reputation of this restaurant

Our first waitress was not good. We asked if they had buttered noodles or mac and cheese for our two year old and she responded with a rude “nope”. She just seemed VERY disinterested. 20 minutes later, she clocked out and our second waitress was great!

Great ambiance (especially after 7 pm with the piano playing). The service and food were excellent, although the portions were a little on the small end. Price was a little high. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience.

As charming as the Bee is, we won't return. The prices are way too high for the quality (fish and chips $27?). A 20% service charge (not gratuity) added, I guess just because it's the Broadmoor? Parking was $25 for less than 2 hours. We do much better at downtown eateries. The Broadmoor reminded us that we are not the constituent who appreciates and forgets about wasting money. Never again.

Had been really excited to try the Golden Bee for some time, as it's a Colorado Springs stand by. The space is really beautiful and well curated. The service at the check-in was also very good. The piano music was fun and well done also! That said, the food was very expensive, the service was mid, and the food was not good. I was expecting this as it's a well known spot and you're paying for the experience. Nobody out of 5 really liked their food, except for the pot pie, and I will say for myself that the fish and chips came out cold and soggy and really was not good. Especially for the price! The service was very lack luster and did not contribute to the experience. We had to flag them down for drinks, food took a long time to come out, etc. Nobody was rude or anything like that, but very apathetic and just doing the bare minimum. 20% tip was included and mandatory for our party of 5. Other restaurants I have been to that so this usually have a much higher level of service. Again, its just very expensive and we expected a better experience and food for that price point. I will probably go back after 9pm for the sing along and a $22 cocktail that comes in like a cheap water glass, but not for dinner.

Overall, everything about the Broadmoor is over the top. Something about Golden Bee was not perfect. Our waitress was not super personable and food was not exceptional. Regardless the price of a burger it should have been delectable. The wagu burger was pressed and firm and felt like something off the shelf. I asked for med. rear and got very med. and it was a bit chewy. First time for Wagu and was not impressed. Our entire trip to Broadmoor was perfect. The pianist was great, the music was great, but something was off about the experience. It was my daughter's 18th birthday and I put that on our reservation AND told the hostess yet nothing was brought up the entire time. Super sad, nothing was done to celebrate her. This place needs to match the superior service of the hotel.

3 aspects made our visit extra enjoyable. 1). Our Waiter (Jervis)...... very friendly and service oriented). 2). The Food (1 burger and 1 stew). 3). The people that the Golden Bee attracted that night. (My wife and I sat next to 3 delightful young women who were out for a girls night). I just feel that the Golden Bee attracts a nice type of person.

Our burgers had the potential to be great and sounded wonderful but were both overcooked. We were at a conference so didn't have time to have them re-made. The waitress was lovely and did offer this but we didn't have the time to wait. She then offered a free dessert with we accepted and the panna cotta was amazing!

My husband and I visited while staying at the Broadmoor. We thought is was the cutest thing that they throw a little bee at you and it sticks to your clothes. I ordered the fennel salad; it's so pretty. They could definitely give you more oranges, beets, and pistachios since these are the only 3 ingredients in addition to the lettuce. My husband had the bison burger that he enjoyed. Our waiter was very helpful with the menu. I was trying to decide between the fennel salad and the harvest power bowl. He suggested the salad because he sees a lot of power bowls uneaten. I appreciated his honesty. It was a lively place, with lots of laughter. It was a great choice for a quick lunch.
