“My wife and I saw the reviews and decided to give this place a try while in town to see a Drake concert that never happened ?.It is a very popular place so we were told it would be about. 20-25 min wait. You can pour yourself a complimentary cup of coffee and hang by the door if you like. The coffee was good.After being sat we looked over the menu and took in the vibes. Really cool atmosphere and service. The biscuits and butters were so so good. There actually wasn’t a single thing that wasn’t top notch.Will return again and again“

“Went here for the first time today for a breakfast for lunch meal and was blown away!! Absolutely delicious!! The biscuits and gravy is what I ordered and it was not your normal old school biscuits and gravy. The gravy has more meat, sausage and bacon, in It than you would get in an entire breakfast elsewhere, the biscuits have cheese baked in them and are huge, eggs and potatoes were cooked perfectly, and the house hot sauce was delightful. A must try in the north metro area.“

“Hubby and I ordered the breakfast burrito smothered with chili and the breakfast tacos. They sold out of the habernero bacon so we got those two items with chorizo. Let me tell you, the food was phenomenal!! Their take on the brunch menu is so unique with a slight touch of Asian flavours (ie crispy onions) which suits my palate. I wouldn’t recommend the Vietnamese coffee since it wasn’t as strong as I hoped for. Also, l loved the vibe here. You order first and then bring the food to your table once it’s ready.“

“One of my favorite breakfast places to go when I’m in town visiting. Food is always great with very large portion size for the cost you pay. Cost of food is very reasonable. Large menu with plenty of breakfast/brunch options. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Nothing fancy about the interior of this diner which is why I gave 4/5 for the atmosphere but overall is a great breakfast/brunch spot.“

Guess where we are going to be next year for our anniversary breakfast?The food is great and cooked perfectly as seen in the pictures. We get the eggs benedict as it is a tradition for the last 15yrs. To be able to repeatedly cook poached eggs and have tempered hollandaise sauce readily available order after order takes tallent. Compliments to the chef. Your hard work is not unnoticed. Their table sauce is delicious so we order a couple bottles of that to go.The service is great. Order coffee, you get a coffee pot to enjoy without interruptions to your conversation. Friendly and swift. The price is right. Pay and tip when you are done.The atmosphere is what you'd expect in a family cafe. Well lit, conversations going, low volume music, and a line out the door of people waiting to be seated for excellent food.This is a great place for a great meal at a great price. The Dahlia and the Franklin are solid breakfast choices if you're looking for a biscuit sammy. If you want something else the grits are great or the granola bowl is a good light option. Pizza is slammin and burgers are good too. They are always busy for a reason!Vegetarian options: Not a lot of vegetarian options but they do have some!Parking: Shared parking lot with other businesses and lots of street parking but it's a busy area so you might have to park a block or two away.“

Skip the fast food places and come here to have fresh food that is top notch.The Biscuit of the Day is a great go-to! Even if it sounds “weird” they know what they are doing, just get it. I didn’t- my buddy did- I was outta luck but thankfully they let me try theirs. It was delicious but I was hesitant because it sounded like it wouldn’t be good.They also have coffee and will know what type of drink to make if you prefer something from a chain- but it will taste way better!Their biscuit cinnamon rolls are AMAZING! much better consistency than a regular cinnamon roll that sits heavy- their biscuit dough makes it light and fluffy!Parking: Parking sucks anywhere there isn’t a parking lot. “4.5/5 - great food that has late night options. One of my go to late night options absolutely.I’ve had their burgers a few times and they continuously slap. They even have some pink in the middle which I really appreciate it. Biscuits are also fire.Going to try the pizza before I consider bumping to a 5.“

“We had a delicious breakfast before baseball this morning: I got an iced coffee flight and a basic breakfast with dressed greens and a sausage patty. My son got. Banana pancake and oatmeal, and my husband got an omelette. Service was fast and friendly, especially for 7am! My dressed greens were the star of my show and I’ll be craving them daily.“

Picking up food is always a breeze and the staff's super friendly.There was 1 time when my husband and I both ordered the hash browns and got an upset stomach; we pinpointed it to the hash browns because every time we'd pick at it throughout the day, our stomachs started bubbling. We thought there was something dairy in it, but couldn't figure out why that day, the hash was causing some GI upset. We were lucky to find a table, they do have a patio that's where we sat, however it's a busy intersection and very noisy. Food was delicious I got a regular bennie and my husband got a veggie one and I would order again, so good! Regular bennie was great portion and very filling, my husband wished he would of gotten that one instead, the regular comes with potatoes but the veggie doesn't, we thought that was odd. I always order black coffee to try to see how the real flavor is and I'm a little disappointed in theirs it's very bitter, not sure I would order again.Vegetarian options: Tried the veggie Bennie it's pretty good.“

“My go to Vietnamese place that makes me feel like home. From the OG ladies that bring the taste of bánh cuốn (Vietnamese clear crepes) comparable to socal for me. If you're Vietnamese they have everything from bánh cuốn, bánh ướt, bánh hỏi , gio, cha, Vietnamese yogurt, pickled veggies, bánh bao, caramel flan, moc, you name it. Even my SoCal parents loved it whenever they visit. Pricing is cheap. They give discount for cash payment. The Ladies are super nice. Just be polite. If you have a big order say more than 2 lbs of whatever crepe, call ahead. It'll take them 20 min to get it ready for you. And they like it better bc they're less stressed out. For Americans, if you're down to try I'd recommend asking for "bánh cuốn combo"(with minced pork meat), it comes w fresh Thai basil fried shallot and yes , our motherland famous dipping fish sauce. “Sun Valley Kitchen has really surprised me with the quality of their coffee and tea beverages, food, and atmosphere.The full service coffee bar has a range of standard coffees, lattes, and teas. All are very reasonably priced for Denver. I'm not sure the coffee bean they use but it is full bodied and delicious. The tea selection isn't very large, but they are all well steeped and really delicious.Based on several lunches here, I feel qualified to say that their food far exceeds expectations. At a very reasonable price too. I'm positive you will be surprised as well, you can't go wrong with the daily special!Aside from their products, the staff has done a wonderful job at creating a laid back cafe that's great for hanging out in. Places like Swift's are a dying breed, built decades ago & still in business to this day, and hopefully they stay in business forever. “Under new management and it's so much better, the green chili is really good but if you don't like the spice just order mild, I got medium and it was perfect, my mom got mild and it was a bit spicy for her. We both got breakfast burritos and they were delicious . Definitely coming back and soon. The new name is 5280 eats, it's owned by the owner and his wife that have the tattoo place next door.“

I would have to say the bad reviews are either people that would never be satisfied by anything or the competition. Hands down the go-to spot, and my kids love it too. If you haven't tried this little spot you're missing out. If a down-home quick inexpensive spot isn't for you, then go to a chain location and lose out on the down-home style of a great diner.
