The customers were respectful to each other, the bar itself was clean and had all the fun things to do with great music on the juke box and sports on the big screens. Later in the visit we meet the owner of the bar and I can see why Halftime is so popular!! She is her brand. “Awesome bar!! Came here to watch the Super Bowl with 7 others and we all got fairly comfortably. There was a special with all you could eat wings / all you could drink beer for $50 and it was spot on. Wings were delicious and the Coors kept flowing. The servers were regularly stopping by to make sure our party was all good and to see if we needed anything. All of them were really welcoming and friendly too. Will definitely be visiting again!!“

However, I am a foodie, so I tried the salsa and homemade chips. The salsa was not very tasty and needed some onion and spices to improve taste. I had the XXX(not pictured because I inhaled them), which were by far my favorite, Seoul(enh, tasted like teriyaki sauce not bulgogi like I assumed), and Cajun dry rub(good but better dipped in some XXX sauce on the side that my awesome server suggested). My server was awesome as previously stated and the location is great as well. Parking can be a little difficult sometimes but well worth a short walk.“

It has been serving this community since before World War II when the Gates rubber company had three shifts running, and workers would come by at six in the morning as they got off of work for something good to eat and cold beer and a place to smoke and although smoking is long gone on the inside the bar still carries age, kissed Surface of the old ashtrays and elbows.
