I don't hit this place as much as I should. I've always had really great experience with the staff, they're always super friendly, the food is good, prices are fine, good atmosphere as well, definitely an underrated restaurant in the area!
We LOVE Gennaro's! They've been around for as long as I can remember - I've lived here all my life. This was my dad's favorite hangout. I am happy that, with so many of the small local bars closing (Covid) , Gennaro's has hung in there and is still in business after over 60 years!! The Calzones are GINORMOUS and DELICIOUS! The service and atmosphere madeOf for the okay food. I didn’t really enjoy that my meatball marinara sandwich was dry and my boyfriend who eats only pizza as his diet thought the pizza was sub par. Said it tasted like that college cafeteria pizza.
