Tried going to this beautiful establishment but there was a sign on the door stating that it is temporarily closed due to owner illness. FYI

The pizza here is awesome. And I eat out a lot. Martin the bartender is always so personable. And you can't beat the price.

Very rude and they make you feel out of place and it feel a little racist when your in the bar.

The service and atmosphere madeOf for the okay food. I didn’t really enjoy that my meatball marinara sandwich was dry and my boyfriend who eats only pizza as his diet thought the pizza was sub par. Said it tasted like that college cafeteria pizza.

I don't hit this place as much as I should. I've always had really great experience with the staff, they're always super friendly, the food is good, prices are fine, good atmosphere as well, definitely an underrated restaurant in the area!

We LOVE Gennaro's! They've been around for as long as I can remember - I've lived here all my life. This was my dad's favorite hangout. I am happy that, with so many of the small local bars closing (Covid) , Gennaro's has hung in there and is still in business after over 60 years!! The Calzones are GINORMOUS and DELICIOUS! They literally cover the plate! I have leftovers for days! The Spicy Bloody Mary's are awesome, the ambience is friendly and neighborhood-bar like. There are two areas to sit in. If you prefer a more family friendly, Italian restaurant atmosphere, you can sit on the other side of the restaurant, away from the bar. Happy hour here is WONDERFUL! They give tokens for your next round. Gennaro's has inspired happy memories of giving all of my saved up tokens to Dad for Christmas, just a couple of years before he died. He used them all!

Great little Italian restaurant. The bar is super nice to hang out at. It’s a real old-school kind of bar with locals.

Went there last night with a friend as I just moved to Englewood. We ordered the fried ravioli as an appetizer - this wasn't bad. We each got a side salad which was good. My friend got the tortellini with alfredo and spicy sausage balls - wasn't bad just more spicy than expected. I got the lasagna - this was bland and all you could taste was the ricotta cheese. The atmosphere was not as expected - its a bar with few tables.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly as it is 90% bar and 10% restaurant.

You can't beat the Happy Seven at Gennaro's. (Their happy hour from 11-6pm, 7 days a week). Cheap, 2 for 1 drinks in a friendly neighborhood dive. Wash all that down with some yummy Italian food at unbeatable prices. Portions are plentiful so be sure to get a box. The Tiscanni pizza was full of garlic and had a generous amount of ricotta and sausage.

Several things that was wrong about this place. The long wait, the cold food received, and the bigot admiration of Chuck Norris consistently told to my child of color. $60 is common to spend on dining out these days for basic food. We won't return.

Everything I've had here has been delicious, the beer has been cold, and the lunch menu is more affordable than fast food.

It’s not the fanciest atmosphere it’s straight out of New Jersey or the set of The Sopranos but the best food friendly people and great customer service. Authentic Italian food with a touch of Colorado green chilli if you

I don’t know if I’ve had a frozen lasagna tougher or more bland than what I had last night. The environment isn’t bad until they start setting up a whole drumset for a metal concert in the restaurant (which is not very big, it’s mostly a central bar). I had a side salad like you’d get for school lunch. I asked my server for a box 3 different times, but then decided the food wasn’t really good enough to be kept anyway. I didn’t try the pizza, but lots of places do pizza.
