Went at lunch - fairly busy, but not what would seem to be out of the ordinary for a lunch spot in a busy part of town. Ordered a sandwich, which took over 30 minutes to receive. The server apologized for the delay when bringing me the food and said he gave me a free cookie to compensate for the long wait. I had already ordered and paid for a chocolate chip cookie which i did not receive and he gave me a oatmeal raisin cookie. The sandwich was insanely overpriced at $16 for an italian sandwich. I've had better, larger italian sandwiches from a pizza place for $5 less. To add insult to injury, the restaurant applies a 10% "quality" upcharge because they offer quality ingredients, quality service and quality benefits, so the sandwich was really $18...give me a break!

The turkey Club was amazing, really enjoyed the gourmet mozzarella but found myself needing a little more texture which chips helped with. The pickles are so good, they're more "young" pickles, so nice and crunchy and oh so tasty. Dolma and macaroni salad were delicious, loved the French 75 cocktail, double chocolate cookie was amazing and the brownie was a freebie for letting them take an extra chair and omg! So good!

Wow! We had a sampling of the delicious sides and bread as well as the Chicken Orzo soup. Finished with a cookie and whoopie pie! Amazing service and to die for food.

Ordered for pickup, but it was extremely busy inside with people waiting to eat. The pastrami sandwich was very good. It's quite pricy, but I'd say worth it if you're looking for a really good sandwhich. The sides that come with the sandwiches are very small.

We stumbled upon Leven a few years ago when visiting a friend. My husband has talked about the pastrami here to anyone who will listen. We literally hopped off the plane from Atlanta on Tuesday and Leven was our first stop. He just convinced his friends who live here to come eat lunch with him for a second time on our trip. Truly everything is delicious. But in the words of my husband, you have to try the pastrami.

Deli with all the classics. Enjoyed the pastrami Reuben. Busy, but you get through in a reasonable amount of time.

I’m struggling to write this review, because the sandwiches were great. I appreciate the quality ingredients, though the pickled cabbage had a bit too much acid/bite for my taste.Where I’m struggling is the $55 bill for two sandwiches only, no drinks. This included a 10% „Quality Charge“ which I understand to be a poorly worded service charge. They were doing a roaring trade on a Friday afternoon so the service charge felt a bit unnecessary - just add an extra dollar to your sandwich prices, drop the service charge, and customers will leave with a better taste in their mouths.

I have loved this place for years. Ate here today and my friend and I got the same sandwich and have been violently ill for hours now.

I was on a bike ride and stopped for a sandwich and a beer. The line was out the door - but I got spot at the bar. Had the chicken schwarma and a mexican lager. The sandwich was good to very good - and the service was good. Nice people. I guess my only gripe is the price - $32.00 out the door. I did not realize there was a 10% charge on the bill. They gave me a machine - and there was no detail on it.
