“To start, the location isn't the most convenient if you're not walking over from a nearby office for lunch. We parked in the nearest pay lot that had space (which was still a couple of blocks away) and walked over. Once there, we waited for a couple of minutes before a hostess got our information to put us on the list, though there were several empty tables inside and outside.During our wait, at least one other party of two came in without a reservation and, unlike us, they were offered the choice of being seated on the patio and were seated immediately. Luckily, our estimated 20-25 minute wait ended up being just under 20 minutes, though we seemed to wait the longest out of everyone that came in after us. It was a bit disheartening.The server was great - fast and friendly. We ordered queso and the fish tacos to share. The food came out decently quickly, but we found both the queso and the tacos a bit bland. Everything seemed to need a hit of finishing salt. Overall, not at all what I expected and a bit underwhelming.“

“I was in Denver recently for 5 days and I ate here three times. The owner made me feel very welcome and even kept "my" table for me when I was meeting a friend for lunch. “The food is sooo good and worth the mild wait in line. They are busy for a great reason. My aunt and I ordered taco plates. I got all chicken and my aunt got 2 pork and 1 beef taco. “I grew up in this neighborhood in the 80's and 90's. This location used to be a Taco Bell, so going back felt a little wild. I wasn't sure if they spoke English, so I ordered in Spanish (I'm guessing either is fine). I'm a fan of these little gems, and La Reyna didn't disappoint. The chips are warm, salsa is cold, tacos so good. My husband had a torta for the first time and thought it was great. Even my 12yo liked his quesadilla, and he's a hard man to please. I would definitely come here again when I'm in this part of town.“

“We are from Dallas Texas. We went to go visit my daughter in Colorado over the weekend and we found this restaurant. The food is amazing. Not only did we go once we went twice they’re very nice people very kind. The service is amazing. I highly recommend the food I even got a caramel Cappuccino to go amazing my daughter got one of their green shakes and it was so good. I’m just hoping that when we go again to Colorado we are definitely going to stop there again. I had their green Chilaquiles and the red ones. My daughter had the French toast. We were unaware it was a sit down place, we ordered and asked for it to go. our server Spencer was amazing, and made it happen for us. we ate the food a few minutes later while in line for the concert and all had an instant moment of wishing we could savor the tacos longer. If they were open later we would have come back for round 2.Parking: parking just to the right of the building. there are signs that the post office (next door) will have vehicles towed if they are parked over night. but for your time at the restaurant cars are safe here. There is also a small amount of street parking but it is residential across the street so I'm not sure how often those spots are available.“

“This was our first time and you MUST go to Patzcuaro’s! We were blown away. This place is no frills, awesome Mexican food. The staff is amazing and extremely attentive. The food is delicious and unlike many other places, the seasoning is ON POINT. The steak quesadilla ended up being among the best I’ve had.. and that’s just a quesadilla but the way they season the steak is next level. The signature dish of a chicken enchilada and flank steak, which they brought a side of tortillas for (basically felt like an enchilada + steak fajita), it was delicious. “This truck is down the street from the office I work in. It is consistently delicious. My co-workers and I go often and look forward to it and are never let down. My favorites are the chicken fajita bowl, chicken fajita burrito, carnitas tacos, and pastor tacos. I have tried other items on the menu, and honestly everything is so good. I usually order 4 tacos because I try to not over eat, but I swear I could eat at least 14 of them. Service as usual is excellent. Always great at small talk, always great at making you feel like you've walked into a friends home. The artwork in the place has not changed much, but that is for good reason. The artwork on the walls is the same artwork that the original location had all those years ago. it's nice to see it up on the walls and it's great that it's well taken care of. “Thought I would try this place and grab a breakfast burrito/chips and salsa, and I'm glad I did. I got the bacon egg potato green chile and cheese breakfast burrito and it is one of my favorite breakfast burritos I've had in denver.
