“Went for a late lunch with a friend - there was a wonderful, quiet, relaxed atmosphere which I greatly appreciated. The booths by the window are generously sized and very comfortable. We feasted on specialty rolls, beautifully presented, and given their heft, consider the price point to be very reasonable. Everyone was so very nice and the food was (very, very good) excellent. Happy Hour pricing was actually quit generous. All in all, just a really great place. I will be back.“

“Has a good menu, tried a lot of the options. It’s a great lunch spot, and would be a good dinner choice. What was noted is how large the green tea mug is- that’s fantastic, and the bowl of edamame was also large. Minus a star reasoning- good food, quaint location, and friendly service, but nothing felt like “wow, I will brag about that meal”. And there are some sushi meals that I still think about today. So 4 is that’s it’s a good place to go, you’ll have really good meal, and it’ll be at the same cost of other places.“

“This was the most unique and delicious culinary experience I have ever had. It was not cheap, but it was absolutely worth every penny. The elevator was broken so we had to go through the back of the burger restaurant and enter through the back entrance of sushi by scratch, and although they apologized for the “inconvenience”, we thought it actually made the experience more unique! I would recommend this place to anyone, and we might make this our new wedding anniversary tradition!“

“My delivery driver got stuck in my elevator for 30 min (Wayne) and he handled it so gracefully. I called the fire dept for him but he was calm and kind the whole time. I felt horrible but what amazing customer service! Wayne really handled a stressful situation the best way possible. I have ordered here forever, and wlll continue to bc of him. I’m so sorry for my elevator, but what a good show of customer service service!

“I ordered the chicken miso ramen for take out -- i didn't realize until I was eating it that I've actually never had *restaurant* chicken ramen before (only ever chasu pork restaurant ramen, or chicken instant ramen). It was absolutely delicious! Not quite as heavy and creamy as chasu pork ramen, which was what I was craving. It was still plenty hearty and satisfying, while also being a more fresh option than traditional ramen. I didn't stay long in the shop, but it had a great atmosphere!“

“A delightful dinner with our daughter! Ordered our favorites and server weighed in on some new items...all were a hit! Dining room was very loud, we asked hostess if we could sit at another table. She was hesitant, but did in the end, offer us a table against wall which was perfect! A small hitch in an otherwise pleasant evening.“

“When I arrived I was seated right away and the staff member who was serving me was fantastic. I ended up ordering different pieces of nigir which came in sets of 2. Below are my thoughts on each piece of fish. I would say this place is a very good place to eat overall. I would recommend this spot if you are in the area and looking for good sushi. They even have coke out of the bottle which was fantastic.
- yellow tail: yellow tail is good. What I like about yellow tail is it has a clean taste so when you eat it with wasabi the kick really comes through and is balanced out with the soy sauce. With this yellow tail there is a hint of a taste there. It is not a bad taste but a hint of fishyness I am getting.
- fatty yellow tail: the fatty yellow tail similar to the regular yellow tail suffers from that lingering taste. When getting fatty fish I usually expect it to be super buttery. This fish had some butteryness to it however I was underwhelmed with it.
- fatty salmon: very clean taste. Virtually no fishy after taste. The pieces I got had some butteryness to it however I would say I have had fatty salmon in the past that definitely had more butteryness to it. I would highly recommend this fish to anyone who doesn't like the taste of raw fish. It was prepared very well.
- wagyu: it was very smooth and buttery taste to it. They did put these crunchy strings on it which I could have done without. Maybe do like 2 or 3 on top but with that many I feel it took away from the meat.“

It's hard to get truly quality sashimi in Colorado; It's only slightly more expensive, but I promise it's worth every penny.

Their hot tea is served in these cute, stylish tea kettles, is decent quality, and their Ramen is pretty good too. :)“

“I've been eating at this spot for years. I usually come once a week for sushi and a few other items throughout the store. Im basic and always get California rolls and lately its all avocado and no cucumber. Literally no cucumber at all in today's order. I usually don't eat the avocado and remove it since you cannot order it, its premade. It's disappointing that there is no cucumber and this isn't the first time either. Just feedback for chefs, I'm still coming back next week and the week after. I'd also like to note there are 2 slices of ginger for 9 rolls. That seems skimpy IMO“

“My friend and I went here for Valentine's Day. We hadn't made plans because we weren't celebrating the holiday, so we had no reservations. The place was packed. The hosts were busy coordinating reservations that went as late as past 11 pm, as they were open until midnight. They were kind in their greeting and offered us space at the bar, if we could find it. We couldn't. As the wait time was over an hour and a half, we left to go somewhere else but decided to return a little later to check back at the bar. We found some seats that had just been cleared, so we saddled up for a chill time with chopsticks and great ambiance. We were greeted by the friendliest, most energetic bartender I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with while dining out, much less when a place is that busy. She had a smile for miles as she walked us through bar suggestions featuring her alcohol favorites. The reason we rallied to try again at Hapa was that my friend has a serious gluten issue with his severe celiac disease and has never had a problem with their dedicated menu. The gluten-free menu is extensive for such a specialized diet, automatically paired with their gluten-free soy sauce. Since we were sharing our samplings of sushi, sashime, salad, and sake, I went ahead and ordered from that menu as well. I didn't taste any difference in my experience. Our servings were well-timed with salad, main dishes, accompanying sake and wine... and, again, our awesome bartender sharing company with us, a truly gifted gal of service. If I tried to recommend this place more, I'd sound silly. That said, thank you for one of the best Valentine's Day, un-Valentines evenings I've ever had! We left happy with our choice for the night and full in our bellies!“

“Con Safos is an absolute gem and a must-visit! I stopped by during the holiday season, and the festive decor and fun holiday vibes instantly won me over. The seasonal drink specials were the cherry on top!

Carne Asada Loaded Nachos – Perfectly crispy tortilla chips piled with tender steak, gooey cheese, pico de gallo, and sour cream. Total crowd-pleaser!

Chicken Flautas – These rolled tacos served in a cup were genius for a night at the bar, topped with fresh lettuce, tomato, and Cotija cheese.

Traditional Carnita Tacos – The street taco dream! Tender carnitas, cilantro, pickled red onions, and a salsa so good I wanted to take some home.

The combination of fantastic food, creative drinks, and lively ambiance makes Con Safos a place I’ll definitely return to. Highly recommend!“

Hubby had the Philly. Both were excellent as the pictures will show. They were very accommodating to my service dog, which is always appreciated and sets the tone for a delightful dining experience. “If you’re looking at the price thinking it’s steep, the poke combo bowl is a ton of fish.

The fish is, as the owner explains, so incredibly fresh and the best texture/ flavor.

This place is real authentic Hawaiian poke. As good or better than a lot of Hawaiian poke we’ve had in major coastal cities like Seattle and Hawaii itself! Excellent product.

We also got the Chirashi bowl, but both agreed the shoyu limu poke was both the best value and just scrumptious.

Also points for good rice. Not sure how others screw that up but they do.“
