“The food is amazing! Our waitress was awesome as well. The only thing that left a sour taste in our mouth was the manager making it seem like we’re being rushed. I made a reservation a week earlier and when we showed up there was barley anyone there, the manager or owner or who ever she is said we had 1 hour and a half at max to finish our meal. This establishment is definitely not a turn and burn. If I’m spending over 25 dollars a plate I’m going to enjoy it with the feel or want to be rushed. That being said the food and our waitress definitely did not disappoint!“

“I have never had such great Italian. service is amazing food is very delicious. piping hot and doesn't take long. It's worth every penny. it also seems they make their own pasta and homemade items. ps I never review. Go!“

“The definition of the word osteria is a simple and inexpensive wayside inn... This restaurant is neither of the first two descriptors... Having said that, the food and service are both exceptional... Changing plates and silverware between each course might seem a little excessive and unnecessary, but it nevertheless was impressive as was the fact that the service team works together seamlessly. High ceilings give the impression of a space larger than it actually is and definitely does not feel as claustrophobic as tavernetta. We had been hoping for a suitable replacement for IL posto and this seems like it will be the one for us.
It would definitely help if there were more options in the $50 to $75 per bottle range... As far as we are concerned that would be the only complaint because everything that we tried (and we did quite a few items)... Was very good and definitely merits a repeat visit.“

“I was so impressed with Jimano’s gluten-free pizza! The crust was crispy and chewy in the best way, and it didn’t feel like I was missing out at all. The toppings were fresh and super flavorful. If you’re gluten-free, this place is definitely worth a visit!“

“I ordered several pizzas for a work event but realized I made a mistake and needed to cancel my order and place a new order. Things got a bit screwed up (my fault) but the manager was FANTASTIC and jumped right on it and helped me unwind the mess I caused. She constantly communicated with me until things were straightened out. The best part? The pizzas were really yummy! Definitely recommend them. I will be back.“

“Mom-and-pop shop that serves pasta and salad literally in paper buckets. The noodle options are cavatappi, penne, and spaghetti, and there are numerous sauce options. The cavatappi was cooked slightly over-al dente, but the marinara was excellent — the spicy marinara is a home run. The pasta bowl sizes are called small, medium, and family, which translate to big, giant, and humongous because the family is 24 ounces.
Garlic bread comes with each pasta order, and it's made to order, and it's crispy, buttery, and garlicky. The salads — also made to order — come in the medium bucket. The mac and cheese (cooked to order) is also flavorful. Meat options are sausage, meatballs, and chicken.
The paper buckets are tightly sealed by a plastic lid, and I'm confident that transporting the food would not result in a spill.
The food is prepared by Patrick, one of the owners, and patrons can sit and wait and converse with him, as we did when we dropped by. He said his goal is to make feeding families more affordable for the South Denver area.
They have a free miniature arcade set up, as well, for those who want to pass the time while waiting. It's the original three Mortal Kombats as of November 2024. There is no dine-in option here; it's strictly order to go.
The shop is connected to the Great Harvest shopping center — just have to swing around the corner to the south.“

“I have hearing loss. I asked for I quiet table. The management was TERRIFIC in accommodating my needs; I was offered the choice of three tables. The service was excellent too. Our entrees were well prepared, especially the Pollo all Milanese. The entire evening was a pleasure, thank you to the Venice service and kitchen staff“

“One of the best restaurants we have been to! We heard about Cranelli's from my coworker and thought it would be a good stop to celebrate my mom's birthday while in Denver. We were greeted by the owner Lasinda. The atmosphere was welcoming and also modern, whole in the wall feel. Right away I was blown away that the menu had labels for GF, DF, and vegan because I'm allergic to dairy and have never come across that. The drinks and food were amazing!! We loved that there were options for portion sizes. It was so delicious and fresh! You could tell love was put into the dishes. I've never seen my 5 year old eat like that, and I'm not sure he'll ever eat my tomato sauce from a jar spaghetti again. Lasinda made us feel like regulars, and stopped to say hi to everyone. We had such a great experience, we will be making the trek to go back. Definitely a favorite!“

“We had a fantastic experience at Venice! We’ve lived in Denver for 20 years and we never knew this place existed. Great atmosphere and the food was amazing, so authentic! We went with our 3 kids (13, 10 and 10), they ordered off the kids menu and loved the fettuccini Alfredo. The service was excellent, and our server, Gillian was on point. I can’t say enough good things about him. We will most definitely be back. I would recommend this place to anyone. This place is really nice and intimate feeling. Great for a date night or a family dinner, so long you have well behaved kids who love good food.“

“This is my favorite restaurant! The food has a sensuous and complex flavor profile while also being rustic Italian. You will not find a better pomodoro sauce anywhere unless your grandma is from Italy and has a long held family recipe. The pasta is hand made and has a perfect texture and amazing flavor with the sauce. The house made buratta is the freshest, creamiest and thickest you’ll enjoy outside of select NYC restaurants that are famous for making their own mozzarella, ricotta or buratta. And the staff treat their guests like they’ve invited you into their own home. Jessica was amazing! All together, going to Luca’s is like getting the perfect big warm hug.“

“the egg-parm sandwich has to be one of my top 5 favorite things to eat. any italian restaurant I go to I always get that. I've tried 6 different places in the state, all delicious and I would eat the sandwich again. but the egg-parm sandwich here stands out! I'll be getting this for lunch again. I also got the rigatoni bolognese for dinner. cant wait to try that one later. :) 👍💯🍆“

“I love coming to Mici with my family. The food is excellent, and they have a way of making dining out with kids feel effortless. There’s no loud playground or overwhelming distractions—just a welcoming space where kids can sit with their family, play with the little dough ball they’re given, enjoy a meal that arrives quickly, and get genuinely excited to pick out a generously portioned gelato.
Beyond the food, Mici feels like a place that brings the community together. Whether it’s families sharing a meal or the group of 15 seniors I often see gathering there, there’s a real sense of belonging. It’s clear that Mici is well-loved, and for good reason.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, kid prices“

“Been here many times. The old owners are now gone. The new owners straight from Europe The Giaqnni family has changed the plate ware, expanded wine and beer, same chef's and are starting a lunch menu and they say soon a breakfast menu. I had 15 for dinner Saturday night. Food great, fun and wait staff engaging. Owners visited as well. You will like the new settings.“

“We made a reservation very last minute on a night I wanted cozy Italian food, but something different than our typical haunts. Everything was fantastic. Cocktails were well balanced. Waitress (Rachel) was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. Focaccia with the herb butter was out of this world… we thought it was as good or better than bread courses at some of the Michelin Star restaurants. Also the prices were great. Gusto could charge 50% more to Twice as much depending on the dish, and it would still be on par with the quality of food. We shared two starters and each had 3 drinks and a main course, and we still paid less than $100 per person. Unreal. We will be frequent customers here.“

“While the catchphrase "hidden gem" is overused I think it applies perfectly to Oliver's. It's definitely a gem and is tucked away in a nondescript location. But omg is the food awesome! We've been to a wine tasting, several happy hours and dinner, and each time has been wonderful. These guys & gals know what they are doing. The ambience is casual and friendly but bustling and the staff are a joy to interact with. Oliver's is on our top 10 go-to list. I'm hungry just thinking about it!!
Kid-friendliness: Not so much for small children in my opinion but older kid would be fine I'm sure.“

“Had lunch at North today with a business friend, and it was as good as I remembered, if not better. The service was outstanding -- prompt and helpful without being intrusive. “Wow! Who knew there was such an authentic Italian venue in Denver. Homemade artisan pasta with creative sauces and entrees. Try the bolognese as it is one of a kind. The wood-fired pizza reminded us of what we had in Venice, IT! The bar and wine list is loaded with special finds. My wife found the Paloma cocktail to be fabulous. I fell in love with wine list especially. If you’re in Denver this is a MUST! Cheers.“

“Food was great, Service was great, but trying to get around and park was a total mess. Don't like the location. Castle Rock folks can have it to themselves.
Parking: The area it is located in is just a mess for traffic and getting around. The circle drives cause a lot of issues.“

“Visiting from florida. Took our son and his girlfriend out last night for her birthday. They say this is their favorite restaurant. The food was beyond amazing and the desserts were delicious! We also had the most awesome server. I wish I got his name, but he has black hair and a goatee. Great sense of humor and made the night awesome. Highly recommend this restaurant.“
