Food is ok, very bland. Wife had the salmon salad, and said it was meh at best. I had the bacon jam, and with a name that has bacon in it, I was expecting bacon... no bacon. Kids had the grilled cheese and tomato, they didn't complain, but really only ate the chips.I think my biggest complaint is that they are asking for a tip before you even sit at a table, or order your food. It's a self serve eatery, they don't do anything to earn a tip.

The staff was warm and friendly and were really great at recommending good choices for me, a person who's never eaten here before and who has dietary issues. The manager, he had green hair, was super helpful and willing to help me find something I could eat! Overall great experience, I'll definitely stop by again!

I ordered the Tomato Basil soup and the Chicken Basil sandwich on gluten free bread with a gluten free chocolate chip cookie. This was hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten! The chicken was fresh and oven roasted and everything was seasoned perfectly! I have celiac and had zero reactions. 10/10!!

I placed a large order for a Cardiovascular meeting at 9:00 am for an 11:15 pickup. Paid in full. When I arrived the pick up time they had never received the order, not could they pull up the order. Mistakes happen and computers malfunction, however, the staff expressed no apology or concern. I was 15 minutes late for my meeting and was not able to effectively prepare. I do not recommend this University Hills location if you need reliability.

I don’t write reviews often but this was the worst service we’ve had at a mod market so we wanted to share. We placed a pick up order, and when we went to pick it up it was 10 minutes after it was supposed to be ready yet it still wasn’t. We waited another 10 minutes then were told that they were out of of Mac and cheese, which we had ordered 2 sides of. The lady was grumpy, barely looked up at me, and didn’t even apologize. Definitely not the mod market standards we expect.

Fantastic service, but I'm neither enamored with the food-- which was clean and fresh but not very warm or plentiful--nor the shockingly expensive prices. I think I enjoyed an older menu, too, so I'm not sure I'll be back, except maybe for pizza.

Our office has ordered from Modern Market at least five times and each time only part of the order arrives. (And we order directly from their website, not a 3rd party app.) At least one person's food is missing and they refuse to redeliver the missing food. So five people get to eat and one person doesn't. It happened again today and its the final straw. We just won't order from them any longer. I wonder how often this happens to other people.

Had a large catering order for a 1015-1030 pick up. This was confirmed days in advance. When I got there at 1015 they hadn't even started my order. It took them an hour to get all my food to me and at that point I was late for my own event. They didn't apologize, or try to make up for their mistake.

I walked in to place an order in the middle of the afternoon and not one person acknowledged me. I patiently stood there for 10 minutes, seeing everyone was busy and still nothing. I can understand the staff is busy but at least say “hello” or “I’ll be right with you.” They couldn’t care less. So I walked out and got food somewhere else. This was my first and LAST time going here. You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression!
