There isn't much to say about Santiago's except that it's delicious. I'd prepare to wait in line no matter what time you show up, but they have the best breakfast burritos in town. And don't worry if you're vegetarian, you can request they be made without meat.

VEGETARIANS NEED NOT INQUIRE! Openly HOSTILE and DISCRIMINATORY against vegetarians! I checked online and Santiago's website says "vegetarian options available", so i tell my friends i can eat there. We went to the one at 4168 S Broadway on Friday 3/18 around 6 pm. When we get there, i order my brother's meal(he can eat meat, so he got chicken enchiladas). I ask if the beans are vegetarian or are made with lard. I could tell the second i said "Vegetarian", the cashier was done wanting to help me and he just tried to rush the rest of the transaction. Since i couldn't get a burrito, my backup was to get chile rellenos, which i only saw available as a plate, so i ordered that. The cashier continued to rush me through the transaction. As he was having me sign the bill, i could actually ask if the rice was vegetarian or made with beef or chicken stock. He replied that "nothing here is vegetarian" in a tone that told me he was done answering questions(i had only asked 2). I did verify the rellenos are not made with meat and he confirmed that with a "well, yeah" as he started helping the next person in line. I didn't even get a reciept until later while i was waiting for my food and he was clearing his counter and yelled out "Hey you left your reciept". I noticed the cashier was friendly and helpful with OTHER customers. I got my food and left, figuring i'd give the beans and rice to my brother. Got to my friends house and found the rellenos swimming in pork chile. So now i can't eat anything i had ordered. The cashier knew i was vegetarian, but still let me order food with meat and made no effort to actually help me. I assume it was either because he didn't care at all, or was actively trying to sabotage my dinner. All he succeeded in doing was getting my money unethically and making me feel unwanted and uncomfortable. I will never come back. I ENCOURAGE EVERY VEGETARIAN TO AVOID ALL SANTIAGO'S, ESPECIALLY THE ENGLEWOOD LOCATION ON SOUTH BROADWAY!!!!

This restaurant is the best place I have been to since living on the east coast. The authenticity of this restaurant is real and I haven't tasted anything like it in a long time. Tiny place that always has a line going out the door so I knew I would be getting something great. I've only had the breakfast burritos here but they are fantastic, hot and piping. Filled with a meat of the day (call ahead to see what it is) and smothered in your choice of spicy or mild chili, these burritos are really lovely in the morning when hunger strikes. Also available at various gas stations around the area; these yummies are dropped off every morning.

Faithful customer here at least 3 times a week I Order breakfast burritos for my service crew yesterday the shorted me 1 burrito no big deal I called in the lady at first said she gave me the correct amount then finally said she didn't then agreed to make up for it said she would give me it on tomorrow's order and said she would give me an extra one to make up for the mistake I submitted my order then called at which point she said she would not give the extra so I had to submit another order to get the correct amount I needed frustrated at this point but still ok. to top it all off she was rude to my associate that went to pick them up! As well as to me on the phone! Lost a good customer guys I will not be back!

Their food comes out so quick and so fresh! Their breakfast burritos are a classic for our family and we've been eating with them for years. But the hot breakfast burritos don't sit well in our stomachs, sometimes. Otherwise, they are very flavorful and truly worth the price!

My wife got salmonella from the chicken smothered burrito on 11/29/21. She spent the evening of that day and all day Tuesday 11/30/21 at Swedish medical center. It took numerous rounds of different medications to stop the vomiting and diarrhea. She was finally able to come home tuesday night but she is still very sick and on medication. She ate Santiago's early in the morning. She hadn't eaten anything else that day. she could not have contracted salmonella from anywhere else. The hospital was made aware of all this and contacted the health department
Where do I start the Guy ringing me up Freddy goes from handling money an cards to wrapping food first off with out cleaning his hands...#1. #2 when your order is ready they usually call out your number my food sat on the warmer I watched them place it on the counter they called out several numbers the guy Freddy was litterally looking at me when he called out the number while placing the bag on the counter it was not my number or Id have walked up to grab my meal....it sat there for 10 mins before they called my actual number Im not paying for food thats sat in the window get some one with customer service at the counter please.. or hire someone that likes their job. The lady before me didnt even get her entire order cause no one knows whats going on there...with covid going on youd think more time would be used to WASH you hands....lavate los manos cuchino

Another Santiago's and another perfect spot for breakfast burritos. Parking is limited here and not a lot of room inside, but they crank out orders super fast and staff is great. Santiago's breakfast burritos are still my go to and all time fave and this location definitely delivers. Highly recommend the 1/2 and 1/2 for a good balance of heat and flavor! Also, meats rotate daily so check their board for meat or the day but love the sausage, bacon, or chorizo!

As always, Santiago's prioritizes getting out as much food as possible without caring much about its customers. I ordered way ahead to avoid having to spend much time inside but my order took 40 mins longer than expected. I asked if I could wait outside for them to call my name but they won't allow it. Had to stand in the extremely small space with 10 other people. I'll wait for the pandemic to end before coming back. Bummer
