The food was ok. The mozzarella sticks were the frozen generic type. The garlic bread was weirdly thin and warm, but ok. My wife enjoyed her mushroom ravioli. The interior of the restaurant was dirty and dusty. We came in during the off season, but still it wasn't nice inside. The menus were tearing and worn on the spines and badly needed replaced. The service was good, especially when compared to everything else. Overall, I would not recommend eating here.

Decent food, the alfredo is a bit bland but the lasagna was great. Service was also good. We were just expecting a slightly more romantic dining experience and it was oddly casual.

Food was amazing! We had the angry chicken and the old world traditional spaghetti, both were great! Service wasn't super anything, but we walked in at almost closing time and they took care of us. I would eat there again.

We have been to Mama Rose's a few times over the years. Our last visit was the week before Christmas 2023. We had been a bit disappointed with our meals in Estes Park on this trip (as restaurants can be a bit off their game this time of year). But we were very pleased with our meal at Mama Rose's.We started off with a Caprese for an appetizer -- we are not normally not fans of black pepper, but the cracked black pepper was added at just the right amount to make this very tasty, and the basil leaves were very fresh -- we were almost fighting over the last couple of tomatoes and cheese. My wife and I often share our meals, and this was no different as we shared a lasagna and a fettucine with tomato cream sauce (with meatballs added) -- we absolutely loved both of them. Unfortunately, our son did not like the fettucine with pesto sauce (we should have remembered this from the past). But our server (I wish I could remember her name, but she said she had been there for 9 years we think) was so wonderful and brought him a dish of the fettucine with tomato cream sauce (with a sausage) -- as he tried ours and loved it. She took off the charge for the pesto dish (without us even asking her to do so).My son and I shared an order of cannoli for dessert, as my wife was too full to have any. This was a wonderful meal, and a great final dinner of our trip. We will definitely be back next time we visit Estes Park!

We come to Estes Park once a year and last year ate at Poppy's which was enjoyable. We decided to try this place instead and were very disappointed. Service was slow and took a significant amount of time to even be greeted by our waiter. My wife's dinner came not only wrong but the chicken was raw. When we sent it back the waiter returned only minutes later with clearly the same food just a new sauce dumped on top. My food was bland and the veggies in the sauce were undercooked and overpowering. Pastas are clearly from a box and everything tastes frozen, not fresh or homemade. I've had better "Italian" food at well known chain restaurants.

I have known Mama Roses since the early 2000's. Always consistent. Lately however I am more apt to go to places with lighter, healthier fare. But last week I ordered a lasagna meal for my husband's birthday gathering and it reminded me they really do make the best lasagna. Mama Rose's, you are still a treasure after all these years!
