“Absolutely delicious Mediterranean flavors! Whipped feta andmushroom hummus served with wood fired pita bread. The lamb kabobs were great, but I noticed a 1/2 chicken platter that another diner had, so I will be going back for that. Also, excellent cocktails!“

“My partner and I were so excited to find such a delicious Lebanese meal in Denver. We stopped in on a slow week night and ordered a veggie platter, an eggplant appetizer, and a lamb kabob along with mint tea and a glass of Lebanese red wine. The food and drinks absolutely hit the spot on portion, price, freshness, sophistication, and flavor. We had an incredibly kind and generous interaction with the owner, and the server was helpful and professional. I highly recommend this place for anything from a date night to a casual outing with friends or family. I bet they would also be great for takeout. We'll definitely be back soon. "Alf shokr" to Brahim and his wonderful staff!Vegetarian options: Frankly, this cuisine lends itself easily to vegetarianism if the chef has any idea what they're doing. The vegetarian combo at Phoenician Kabob showcases a wide range of fresh, well-executed, healthy offerings served in substantial portions, each of which may be ordered individually.“

“Saturday night takeout sharing the Meat lovers platter with a side of stuffed grape leaves. The kabobs were beautifully done, and not overdone. We’ve been to Turkey before and this place is legit- right down to the silky hummus and quiet pickled veggies scattered throughout the yellow rice.“

“Really satisfying and flavorful food here. The portions are generous, too! I tried the yogurt drink and it was great, so was the hummus, and the dolma. I would be glad to eat here again. Heads up: it got busy during weekday lunch time as the nearby office employees filled in.“

“Food is great and the value is fantastic, atmosphere is perfect, the staff is awesome and knows what’s up. I couldn’t recommend it more highly for a date night, spot to meet friends, or just a place to grab a burger and a drink! Patio seating and indoor seating with a solid bar what more can you ask for?“

“Our group went to Ash’Kara to celebrate our friends birthday and we had the best time! We were seated outside on the patio but were kept warm with the heaters. The food was amazing! We shared the feta dip, hummus and the hot cheese one (forget the name) with Pita and Roti which was all delicious and we each ordered our own entrees -Salmon, pasta, lamb - all were phenomenal! And on top of the food, we had the BEST server, Jake. He was attentive, engaging and gave great recommendations on the food. Also provide me with a couple different mocktail options which was lovely. His service was outstanding and above and beyond. We also received a dessert on the house (the Baklava was dynamite!) and when we got champagne to toast our friend’s birthday, he brought me a glass of sprite so I could be included in the toast!Amazing food, amazing service - highly recommend and looking forward to returning!“

“Comfortable neighborhood restaurant in a trendy area. No frills. Just good food. And, good sized portions. We shared a salad that was big enough for three people. There were lots of fresh veggies and delicious dressing. My friend had the chicken shawarma which was served on a bed of really good hummus with a tasty pita. I thought my gyro plate was good, just a little too salty. It was also on a bed of that tasty hummus. I like that approach to the gyro. There were also red onions on the top...they were a little skimpy on the onions and could have given more. The pita were delicious! They were warm and just the right texture. I ordered extra to go with the gyro plate. The drinks were inconsistent. My first bourbon sour was pretty mediocre. And it was served in what looked like a wine glass. It was garnished with a lemon. That was odd. The second one was a little better and it was garnished with the orange and dark cherry. It was also in the right glass. The service was fine. They were nice about moving us and another couple because there was a large, noisy family in our section. They moved both of us into a quieter area in the front of the restaurant. I'd return if I were in Denver. It's worth a second trip.“

“I saw their page on istragram and wanted to try the food. I bought two dishes and bought them over my parents' house to feed my dad and I. My pop's a picky eater, and he was very happy with his food. I bought the big guy bowls, and they filled me and my dad stomachs full.“

“I stopped in here on a recommendation and I'm so glad I did. I got a simple chicken shawarma sandwich and was astounded by the level of flavor. It was priced very reasonably and made for a satisfying, quick lunch. If you're not sure what to get, try one of the shawarma sandwiches because they are delicious!I will definitely be coming back here to try some of the other food. The atmosphere is simple but nice enough. I generally don't dock points for atmosphere if it isn't astounding because I go out to eat for the FOOD.“

“I ordered my food online Sep. 25th. About $72 worth food. When I ordered it they sent email and it will take about 10 min. After 10min (7:37pm) they call me and say they are out of rice and feta fries and they asked me if I wanted a refund or substitute regular fries so I asked for a refund. They said it will take about 3 to 4 business days. We called several times to fix it after waiting a week to see it refund and the manager never called me back. I requested a charge back with my credit card and they claimed the order was fulfilled.. Very bad experience with management not taking care of refunded orders due to their running out of items.“

“Dropped in here very late one night after work. One of the few places still open after 11pm. Not a lot of traffic that late at night, we got right in. It is counter service, place was clean very quiet that late at night, the guys behind the counter were super polite and nice. We had the gyro sandwich combo and the gyro platter. Sandwich came with a truckload of fries, whereas the platter had all the tasty sides of hummus, rice, tzatziki, pita and gyro meat. Everything was prepared well, overall flavor would be what I considered average but good. It is good enough to earn a return trip at this very late night halal eatery. Only draw back is at this location very late at night next to the civic center, there are a number of people who will hit you up for money or food. After all it is the 16th Street Mall downtown, take a friend with you for company and you'll be fine.“

“I moved to Federal Heights a year ago. I made it a priority to check out my new food scene around here. I am now convinced without a doubt in love with this restaurant! Cleo’s not only makes there food fresh every day but their baclava’s are to die for! I have a usual now and it is the chicken shawarma sandwich! If you love flavor you’ll love this sandwich. You can buy the sandwich and a drink for about 10 dollars. Now I have tried almost everything on the menu but I still come back this sandwich! I would say I eat there about once a week. Oh and you absolutely cannot leave without at least one piece of baclava. They have a variety and it is fabulous! You can go a more traditional route and get the pistachio and not be disappointed but their toffee and walnut are my favorites! Do yourself a favor and check this wonderful restaurant out. You will not be disappointed!“
