“I moved to Federal Heights a year ago. I made it a priority to check out my new food scene around here. I am now convinced without a doubt in love with this restaurant! Cleo’s not only makes there food fresh every day but their baclava’s are to die for! I have a usual now and it is the chicken shawarma sandwich! If you love flavor you’ll love this sandwich. You can buy the sandwich and a drink for about 10 dollars. Now I have tried almost everything on the menu but I still come back this sandwich! I would say I eat there about once a week. Oh and you absolutely cannot leave without at least one piece of baclava. They have a variety and it is fabulous! You can go a more traditional route and get the pistachio and not be disappointed but their toffee and walnut are my favorites! Do yourself a favor and check this wonderful restaurant out. You will not be disappointed!“

“Absolutely delicious Mediterranean flavors! Whipped feta andmushroom hummus served with wood fired pita bread. The lamb kabobs were great, but I noticed a 1/2 chicken platter that another diner had, so I will be going back for that. Also, excellent cocktails!“

“The best meal I have ever had! We celebrated my birthday and our anniversary here after it was recommended on Reddit. Every aspect of our experience and meal was exquisite. Timely and professional service. The atmosphere was great and the food was the highlight. The fresh bacon starter was cooked perfectly , fall apart melt in your mouth pork belly paired with a garbanzo bean puree. I had a cocktail, I believe it was called a lavender sour but I could be wrong. It was heavenly like drinking a cloud. A wonderful gin based cocktail. We had delicious bread service, the goat cheese biscuit had a wonderful crunchy texture on the outside and was soft in the inside (best biscuit i've ever had) the lavender sourdough was also excellent. I had that artichoke tortellini and it was amazing. Very decadent and everything you could ever dream about a pasta being. For dessert we had the orange risotto canoli which was also expertly crafted, and enhanced by the Chantilly cream and passion fruit puree. I have never been to an award winning restaurant, I did not know what to expect, but this meal dar surpassed my expectations. I highly recommend a visit. It is worth every penny!“

“This might be my first food review ever... but I had such a dope experience. First of all, they were open late on a Sunday! I was in town for a show, got out super hungry and after googling, I saw they were open and near by. The food is bangin, super flavorful, and the staff was so nice and hospitable. Even though it late, they were very attentive, accommodating, and I never felt rushed or like my presence was an inconvenience. I definitely hope to eventually taste my way through the menu. I had a modified shawarma and it was so delicious!“

“I love this bar. The aesthetic is phenomenal. There's so much to look at and there is a fun factor of eating a Philly Cheesesteak at an Aspen Themed Turkish bar with plenty of heavy metal theming mixed in. It's amazing.Staff was great! “I was surprised with dinner for my Birthday, and you did not disappoint! Not only was everything we tried ( I'm seriously going to dream about the harissa eggplant fries) but the attention to detail and the fresh flavors were out of this world! Additionally, special attention was paid to our food allergies and It was a huge weight off our shoulders to not have to worry about that! We will definitely be back and I highly recommend it! We had the harissa eggplant fries, the pork cheeks, the Lebanese garlic dip, the spanakopita, the carne paella, and kept everything off with the chocolate torte! phenomenal food and staff!“

Stood there without a greeting for a while until someone took the order. Then waited too much (15-20 min? ) for meals to be ready, all while there wasn't much foot traffic during slow snowy Sat night.I'll probably try the place at least once more, but if I were the owner, I'd focus on discussing customer svce skills with employees and improving wait times.“

“Ambiance: this is a cute little hidden gem. The seating is small but offers a family feel. Nice touches with family photos on the walls. You can make reservations and I recommend since it is a small family locally owned restaurant. Service: staff has always been lovely to us. Helps make decisions on what we want with asking us questions what we like and don't like flavor wise. Makes wine suggestions. Food: you can't beat their in house made pasta and sauces. You can see right into the kitchen and watch them make the food. They have lovely dessert as well. Being Italian this reminds me of home, my mom, and my grandmother. Nostalgic feeling with great tasting food. The food is priced right.“

“Super good!! We were driving through from Nebraska and I looked for an hour before we arrived to Denver on where we should get our lunch. This place had great reviews and the food looked great, I’m so glad I landed on here to eat. My husband got the original gyro and I got the chicken gyro. Honestly I haven’t even liked any gyros I’ve tried before but this one sounded great with the lemon and oregano and it was fabulous. They were super generous with the meat it was over flowing. The veggies were fresh, onions crisp, the sauce was great as well! I wish we had one back home I would go often! Staff was friendly as well!“

We stopped in on a slow week night and ordered a veggie platter, an eggplant appetizer, and a lamb kabob along with mint tea and a glass of Lebanese red wine. “My husband and I ate here for the first time — it was a drizzly day with reports that Denver was going to get a big snow so the restaurant was open. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate and my husband had the gyro plate. It came with a small salad, lots of rice and a large portion of chicken (or gyros) and 2 pieces of pita bread. Everything was tasty and delicious, made especially for us. It also came with a green hot sauce that is made in house that was really good! We will come back again soon! It’s located near 5 points, and the restaurant itself is divey, but don’t let that dissuade you from trying it!“

“Our group went to Ash’Kara to celebrate our friends birthday and we had the best time! We were seated outside on the patio but were kept warm with the heaters.The food was amazing! We shared the feta dip, hummus and the hot cheese one (forget the name) with Pita and Roti which was all delicious and we each ordered our own entrees -Salmon, pasta, lamb - all were phenomenal! And on top of the food, we had the BEST server, Jake. He was attentive, engaging and gave great recommendations on the food. Also provide me with a couple different mocktail options which was lovely. His service was outstanding and above and beyond. We also received a dessert on the house (the Baklava was dynamite!) and when we got champagne to toast our friend’s birthday, he brought me a glass of sprite so I could be included in the toast!Amazing food, amazing service - highly recommend and looking forward to returning!“

“Comfortable neighborhood restaurant in a trendy area. No frills. Just good food. And, good sized portions. We shared a salad that was big enough for three people. There were lots of fresh veggies and delicious dressing. My friend had the chicken shawarma which was served on a bed of really good hummus with a tasty pita. I thought my gyro plate was good, just a little too salty. It was also on a bed of that tasty hummus. I like that approach to the gyro. There were also red onions on the top...they were a little skimpy on the onions and could have given more. The pita were delicious! They were warm and just the right texture. I ordered extra to go with the gyro plate. The drinks were inconsistent. My first bourbon sour was pretty mediocre. And it was served in what looked like a wine glass. It was garnished with a lemon. That was odd. The second one was a little better and it was garnished with the orange and dark cherry. It was also in the right glass. The service was fine. They were nice about moving us and another couple because there was a large, noisy family in our section. They moved both of us into a quieter area in the front of the restaurant. I'd return if I were in Denver. It's worth a second trip.“

“Five stars and the place is now open for dine in! I've had takeout a couple times and today I went inside and had lunch. The place has some of the best Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food (LEBANESE specifically) around! I love Mediterranean food because it's healthy and tasty. The place itself is small but had plenty of seating while I was there. Everything is really good, from the salad dressing to the rice- you can tell that someone is paying close attention to all the items served. The Koobedah is some of the best I've ever had. The lunch specail is very affordable- you get a lot of food for $12.95.- including salad, hummus, pitas, rice, tzatziki and protien options (Gyro, Koobedah, chicken swarma, etc). In the nearby vicinity this is by far the best Mediterranean option around. The server did a great job and was very on top of our order (Refills etc). I definately recommend this place and will be a regular. Happy eating!“

“It was only ok this time. I arrived about 4:10pm and the guy at the register wasn't very friendly. I wanted to swap the Rice for French fries and pay the difference, but he said that wasn't possible. They only spoke Spanish in the kitchen and he couldn't explain that to them. Later tho he did communicate with the kitchen staff in Spanish!?At 4:15 he started to close up the Restaurant. I guess, they are only open to 4:30pm. So not really open for dinner.The Gyros meat was not like any Gyros I know from Greece or any European Middle Eastern places :-(I had the Gyros wrap here before and it was pretty good, but by the afternoon the "meat pieces" they put in my dinner were all dried out :-( Everything else tho was pretty tasty. “For mall food, this place is amazing! It's nicely tucked away in the first floor of the cherry creek mall and offers beauty Grecian murals that make me feel like I'm in Santorini. The menu has a variety of options and something for all preferences. I tried the falafel gyro and it was truly delicious! The falafel was perfectly tender and the tzatziki sauce was incredible. The pita bread was incredibly soft, fluffy and warm and it was the perfect post shopping food. The staff is very nice and friendly. They promptly offered me water to go with my gyro and it was ready in just a few minutes. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone famished before or after a trip to the mall.“

It was priced very reasonably and made for a satisfying, quick lunch. If you're not sure what to get, try one of the shawarma sandwiches because they are delicious!I will definitely be coming back here to try some of the other food. There are tables to sit and be served, or you can order takeout. We sat inside the restaurant. They have authentic/themed music playing. We ordered the gyros plate combo and the chicken shawarma sandwich. The gyros plate combo is a huge portion! you get rice and hummus and pita and gyros. It was all very good. But the Chicken Shawarma is the best. Just the sandwich is a huge portion. Ask for feta cheese on the pita tough because it does not come with it and it adds so much! The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The sauce (Tahini?) on the pita was a perfect amount and a perfect taste. I even added some of the hummus (so good) from the gyros plate and added it to my shawarma and it was even better! Highly recommended for amazing Mediterranean food“

“I haven't been to Cava for a while so it took me a while to order two takeout bowls. The staff was very patient with me. They were friendly and suggested certain items that I forgot about. It was very pleasant. The food was great as well. Very fresh and tasty! The cookie decorating was mind blowing! They had delicious cookies, all the toppings you could imagine and helpful staff! The book reading was magical!
