I don’t know if we got a messed up order or it was a fluke, but it was honestly inedible it was so bad. The sushi is just straight up mush?

Only place besides Avogadro's number that my kids will actually sit still and eat all of their growing food! And they never beg for sweets or anything that I would say no to, they love the kids Bento boxes! They're California poke roll is delicious and just the perfect amount of spiciness! Besides that, I usually just do the build your own bowl or I get the general Joe's soup which is a curry based soup and very very filling for great price! The people who work there are always very friendly and don't give me how about my kids making the table sticky... which of course I always wipe down with about 15 napkins but don't roll their eyes or anything like that, they're very courteous!Kid-friendliness: Bento boxes are ALWAYS a hit....... and my kids ALWAYS wipe their plates clean!

Ordered for pickup so I can get to my desination. The guy upfront was rude and hardly spoke a word and we were trying to be friendly. Said thank you and left. Got a bento box and honestly the food used to be better. Steak was chewy, the spring rolls were mostly carrots and cucumber, I couldnt even taste the shrimp in it, and the rest were greens that thankfully was ok. Bit bummed its gone downhill..

First time at Tokyo Joe's. Moved to TX 8 years ago and hadn't heard much about them our short year here in 2014. My mom used to eat here many times a week until she retired. For fast food non Chinese food, but oh so yummy flavor, it was great. Chicken was tender, both rices were moist, and the list goes on. We got ours to go, and loved being able to mix my amount of each sauce I got to make it perfect for me. Couldn't find updated menu prices or pictures here, so I grabbed few.

We anticipated this being a fast casual restaurant. You place your order, get your number, pick your table, they bring the food to you. We waited over 20 min and we had arrived when it was not busy. Some individuals were waiting for 40 min as it was busier. We don't mind waiting for good food & are patient knowing what staffing shortages have done to the restaurant industry. When the food arrived, my son described the noodles as "slimy" & the edamame was inedible. The food was bland. Maybe it was an off day but this will not be a go to place for us.

Fast, easy, healthy! We order on-line and pick at the restaurant. Very friendly and efficient service.

Worst thing you can do is close early… 8:35 is what the door says and online shows 9pm… janky business for overpriced food

More like a 3.5/5 for a few reasons. While the person taking my order was super nice, once it arrived it felt sort of bare.I got a bento box while is a great deal. They forgot my Sunomono salad, ginger, and Wasabi. The tuna which was good, didn't seem to be finished either. It was pretty dry without much sauce or flavor. They brought out a ramkin of the salad for me, but after seeing the portion of what actually came with the bento box (I was dining with friends) it was about 1/2 of their normal portion.I'd probably give it another shot, and it's not like I'm upset at the kids working there. Just sort of sucked that my meal wasn't really attended to prior to leaving the kitchen for whatever reason.

My only complaint is the rice if plain, white rice - no sticky/sushi rice. The food is great and service is always exceptional!Vegetarian options: Plenty of optionsDietary restrictions: Options for almost any type
