I got to say it wasn’t a quick but good things rarely are. The mofongo con tripleta was really on point and was the best I’ve had since having it in Puerto Rican neighborhoods in Chicago. The empanada was flakey and the beef was moist and spiced perfect. Coming again when I’m back in the Springs for sure sure.

Everything was delicious! I tried a couple of "puertorican" places here & it was a disappointment, but this food truck was amazing! The wait on the food was longer than expected, BUT they are actually cooking the food to order. I got the mofongo con pinchos, chuleta y arroz con gandules, & maduros! I will be going back for sure! It felt like home so much, I had to call my mom, who's still on the island, just to show her the food & tell her how good it was. 10/10!

1st. Time buying today and not disappointed. Good portions and PR flavor definitely there. Bought alcapurria ( 12 in. Long), sorrullo (size of corn dog with velveeta middle), side of mofungo to pair with ensalada de pulpo I made yesterday). Barriga llena Corazon contento . This will be my go to place for those PR cravings. Lets back local PR business. It's a go stop pick food truck and service is good.

The food and service were amazing!!! The mofongo was perfection and the carne frita was crispy on the outside but juicy and tender inside; absolutely delicious!!! It tasted just like being in the island ??! Drove 1 hour and 1/2 and it was worth every mile will definitely be coming back! If you want authentic flavors this is definitely a must!!! :)

I visited this food truck for the second time, as an accident. The first time was like around a year ago. I ordered a Chinese rice special with pork chop. The pork chop was a very good cut. I found the portion to be little. The rice was very bland and also the pork chop. This time I got to the food truck looking for puertorrican food and I did not realized was the same one. I ordered modo go con carne frita, 3 pinchos, 2 sides of arroz con gandules and 1 alcapurria. The size of the alcapurria was huge and the flavor was amazing. The pinchos were big, but they were bland and the bbq souce was like it was mixed with water, was runny and did not stick in the pincho. The size of the mofongo was very decent, I could taste the nice flavor of garlic, but no other taste. The portion for the carne frita I found it small and bland as well. The portion for the rice side was very small, the foam was not even filled half way and it was bland as well.

Swung by for some mofongo. Surely the best I’ve had stateside. The owners were polite and service was great. I really liked that they gave me a device that would let me know when my food was ready. I was able to wait in my car instead of standing outside in the heat. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu.
