“Very cool little spot! One of the few places in town with an apple latte. I feel like everyone always skips apple and jumps straight to pumpkin, so it was nice! The bagle was also delicious. There was plenty of seating and the wait wasn't long at all, especially for how busy it was. All of the baristas made beautiful food and drinks every single order. I reluctantly tried it at the insistence of a friend and am now a regular. It's really hard to believe the sushi can be so good in Golden, CO of all places!”

“We have been customers of Tafolino's for some time. Great food, great service and friendly staff. My wife and I went there last Tuesday November 7th. The booth where we were seated was too cold, so my wife asked to be moved. The new location was still too cold so we needed to move again. My wife apologized and told the server that she wasn't trying to be difficult. It was because she was undergoing chemotherapy and she had poor temperature control. The third location was perfect and we had a very enjoyable meal. When the waiter brought us the bill, he told us, "Don't worry about it. It's been taken care of!" I opened the check and someone had put the entire amount on their own credit card! They refused to let us know who had been so kind! Even more amazing, Tuesday was not the normal day of the week for us to visit. The staff was not well known to us, so this was truly the kindness of strangers. Thanks Tafolino's.”

Our server was only mediocre. He did not go above and beyond by any means. When we had traveled across states for a special trip, he did not really make this experience special for us in any way.  it was a bummer that our server sort of ruined the experience. ”

“My (now husband) and I eloped in Golden. After our wedding, we made reservations at Indulge for dinner. The staff made the night special for us with flowers and wine waiting for us at our table. Everyone was so kind and congratulatory, I seriously cannot thank them enough. The food was absolutely delicious. The bread with basil butter was to die for. The ahi tuna guacamole was also some of the best ahi tuna I had during our trip. If we didn’t live in Wisconsin, I’d want to go to Indulge on a weekly basis. Next time we’re in Colorado, I know we’ll have to make a pit stop back to Indulge. Again, I cannot thank them enough for making our wedding night feel so special.”

The atmosphere is awesome due to the incredible décor, large screen, a multitude of different type of seating, large TV’s located all around the bar! The service and restaurant is second to none! The bartenders are so professional and friendly. Believe it or not we were actually asked if we were satisfied with our drinks! We were politely and professionally served our many food and drink selections! When our pizza slices were served, my mouth dropped, because I have never seen slices of pizza so huge! I have not had a slice of pizza that was so good with just the right amount of tasty toppings on mine! We ordered chicken wings, half naked and half buffalo wing sauce. The chicken wings had been fried to perfection and was so good we could not make up our minds which type of chicken wings was the best, so we called it a pleasingly tie!”

The Fourteener was perfect with their mountain milk (seriously one of the best specialty coffees I’ve ever had). We got the Avalanche with mountain milk as well and it was a bit too sweet so I’d recommend normal milk or oat milk for the Avalanche. We’ll be trying their second location very soon!”

“Very nice big open Starbucks. Lots of room to spread out and lots of seats. There’s a fireplace in the middle as well. They have Muffy’s! It’s pretty easy access off the highway. There’s a gas station nearby and Carwash. Plenty of parking. Two stall bathrooms. Good place to stop off before heading to Breckenridge or steamboat springs.”

“I eat at the Mines Qdoba about once a week. It is the best restaurant on campus, and the staff is truly kind. I have had two excellent experiences at the Qdoba where the employees have gone beyond what is expected to help me out. Well-sized burritos and bowls with queso at no surcharge for less than $12? “It’s a small donut shop inside but we were so surprised at how good the Apple fritter, Cinnamon rolls and Longjohn were. She asked me “cream or no cream” and proceeded to fill the chocolate iced Longjohn with luscious taste-filled cream. We will try the croissant sandwiches next time. And while it was warm inside when we entered the AC quickly made it very pleasant. Very nice people.”

I could not believe how attentive and enjoyable both Megan and Kailyn (sp?) were with all of our group. They were able to remember everyone's special requests and drink ordrers, make great suggestions, make my little granddaughter feel so special, all while being fun and sweet. Service can make or break an event with 25 people and this was way above and beyond! On top of that, the room was so pretty with windows, little string lights, flowers, and plenty of space. The food was great, especially the scones, the curry sandwiches, the macaroons and the shortbread cookies. The 3 people with dietary restrictions and also the little 5 year old each got their own food tower! The teas were delicious, but the alcohol drinks are really good also (and very pretty). We debated having the shower here because of the expense, but we were SO glad we did. They packaged up some nice treats from the store to make up for the minimum we were required to spend. Highly recommend for an event!”

“The gold standard of McDonalds locations. There's still a self serve soda fountain, ketchup packets are available to customers on the front counter, employees are friendly and attentive if you go up to the counter, and all modifications made to my order were correctly accounted for.”

“I absolutely loved this place my first year. I would always get the four cheese (made like a grilled cheese) with the chipotle sauce. It was something I savored each week. Everyone I knew liked the food, whatever they got.
The service was also great, but they treat you how you treat them. If you are friendly and care about them, they care about you and will remember you. If you don't, they won't care about you. So, just a tip, ask them about their day and remember their names, it goes a long way.
