“We had our wedding at The Rose Event Center in September 2025 and the entire process was a DREAM! The venue is stunning and has so much character - exactly what we were looking for!

This was our 4th venue we toured and I knew it was the one the moment we started to walk through. Both Patricia and Emily were incredible to work with. They were extremely prompt and organized in every email and conversation we had.

What we loved the most is that this is an all-inclusive venue -- something that is not very typical with other venues. The transparency in the price and what it includes were 100% exact & there were no hidden fees.
We loved working with their recommended vendor (elite entertainment) for our DJ and decor. That is the only outside vendor, besides our photographer & makeup/hair people.
We chose to add extra time and have access to the venue earlier on our wedding day so that both parties could get ready at the venue and I highly recommend doing that! We both had breakfast at nearby restaurants and timed everything out so that the girls would arrive first to start getting ready. The bridal space upstairs is gorgeous and perfect for getting ready with your girls.
We had our first look in the state room (bar upstairs) and it was the perfect intimate moment we wanted. We sent our wedding party & parents down to the park (2 blocks away) by the river and walked down there after our first look for family/bridal party photos - a true dream without having to coordinate transportation.

I cannot recommend The Rose and their staff enough. The food was delicious and our guests enjoyed being able to explore up on the mezzanine level throughout the night. (*inside tip - you can go to the Buffalo Rose next door and do a wine tasting before making your wine selections!) Make sure you get the Churros for dessert! Our *only* regret is that we didn't have more dessert for out guests -- it ran out very quickly as we had more guests stay than expected and everyone wanted the churros (we did the dessert bar with 4 different varieties)

“Restaurant is at a great venue. We loved staying at the Origin. The food and drinks were great. They were out of tortilla chips, which is sort of different for a Mexican restaurant. Our server was only mediocre. He did not go above and beyond by any means. When we had traveled across states for a special trip, he did not really make this experience special for us in any way.  it was a bummer that our server sort of ruined the experience. ”

“My (now husband) and I eloped in Golden. After our wedding, we made reservations at Indulge for dinner. The staff made the night special for us with flowers and wine waiting for us at our table. Everyone was so kind and congratulatory, I seriously cannot thank them enough. The food was absolutely delicious. The bread with basil butter was to die for. The ahi tuna guacamole was also some of the best ahi tuna I had during our trip. If we didn’t live in Wisconsin, I’d want to go to Indulge on a weekly basis. Next time we’re in Colorado, I know we’ll have to make a pit stop back to Indulge. Again, I cannot thank them enough for making our wedding night feel so special.”

“We had my daughter's baby shower in the separate room and it could not have been more perfect! By far the best part was the service. I could not believe how attentive and enjoyable both Megan and Kailyn (sp?) were with all of our group. They were able to remember everyone's special requests and drink ordrers, make great suggestions, make my little granddaughter feel so special, all while being fun and sweet. Service can make or break an event with 25 people and this was way above and beyond! On top of that, the room was so pretty with windows, little string lights, flowers, and plenty of space. The food was great, especially the scones, the curry sandwiches, the macaroons and the shortbread cookies. The 3 people with dietary restrictions and also the little 5 year old each got their own food tower! The teas were delicious, but the alcohol drinks are really good also (and very pretty). We debated having the shower here because of the expense, but we were SO glad we did. They packaged up some nice treats from the store to make up for the minimum we were required to spend. Highly recommend for an event!”

“After 50 years of sipping your froth I would like to put my input on how yrs back there was Coors Dry, Artic Ice to name a couple, that I miss and bet there's more out there who remember that in the 90's. More flavor especially Artic Ice. This would've been a nice occasion to bring it back for a while....Anybody else have these thoughts?”

“The only choices on this review are “do” or “do not” recommend this place… I’m somewhere in between! This place is great if you want to hang out with friends, play some pool and have a beer! I do NOT recommend the nachos! It’s like they dumped a bag of chips on a tray and sprinkled a handful of cheese and dry hamburger on top. They charge for a side of queso. $21 for the worst nachos we’ve had in our lives. The cheese curds were good. I’ve not tried anything else on the menu, but I probably won’t be back for the food. Definitely pool and drinks. It’s great for that!”

“Highly recommend checking out this coffee trailer! We ordered the Fourteener and the Avalanche. The Fourteener was perfect with their mountain milk (seriously one of the best specialty coffees I’ve ever had). We got the Avalanche with mountain milk as well and it was a bit too sweet so I’d recommend normal milk or oat milk for the Avalanche. We’ll be trying their second location very soon!”

“This restaurant(s) is so unique and incredibly sophisticated no matter what venue you are looking for this is the place! The atmosphere is awesome due to the incredible décor, large screen, a multitude of different type of seating, large TV’s located all around the bar! The service and restaurant is second to none! The bartenders are so professional and friendly. Believe it or not we were actually asked if we were satisfied with our drinks! We were politely and professionally served our many food and drink selections! When our pizza slices were served, my mouth dropped, because I have never seen slices of pizza so huge! I have not had a slice of pizza that was so good with just the right amount of tasty toppings on mine! We ordered chicken wings, half naked and half buffalo wing sauce. The chicken wings had been fried to perfection and was so good we could not make up our minds which type of chicken wings was the best, so we called it a pleasingly tie!”

“We have been customers of Tafolino's for some time. Great food, great service and friendly staff. My wife and I went there last Tuesday November 7th. The booth where we were seated was too cold, so my wife asked to be moved. The new location was still too cold so we needed to move again. My wife apologized and told the server that she wasn't trying to be difficult. It was because she was undergoing chemotherapy and she had poor temperature control. The third location was perfect and we had a very enjoyable meal. When the waiter brought us the bill, he told us, "Don't worry about it. It's been taken care of!" I opened the check and someone had put the entire amount on their own credit card! They refused to let us know who had been so kind! Even more amazing, Tuesday was not the normal day of the week for us to visit. The staff was not well known to us, so this was truly the kindness of strangers. Thanks Tafolino's.”

“Great for carry out! I finished up my DMV appointment at 9am and since it was snowing and freezing out I felt compelled to try this place out. It smelled sooooooo good inside but I was on a mission for takeout. I got 2x Chicken Pot Pies and 1 loaded potato where they gave me plenty of fixings. I got the 32oz cups to take home and it was a perfect amount for hearty bowl for dinner for 2 on a freezing cold day. Strongly recommend taking some home for snow days! Boy that hit the spot. My freezer is ready for another snow day!”
