“We had an amazing experience here! The food was exquisite with reasonable portions and price. I ordered their combination of veggies, chicken, lamb, and yak Thukpa (noodle soup) yet I never tried Yak and it turned out good and my husband got the sampler so I also had a chance to try it too. Their home chai was exceptional with strong spices which I like!! Really love the vibe here !The service was okay although a bit slow because the seating area was divided into separate rooms so you gotta be patient enough or make an effort to reach out to the staff. Clean and spacey restroom. Keep up the good work tho!“

“Momo House was delicious!! Found this place because of google reviews raving about the vegan food. It did not disappoint. I had the combo plate with the vegan momo. The samosas were the best I’ve ever had - the dough was super flaky and delicious. My husband had the chicken moml and he said they were very good as well. The proprietor was very nice and they have a great selection of non alcoholic drinks and a nice water cooler if you just want water. We will come back for sure when we are in the area!!Dietary restrictions: Tons of vegan options.“

“I can not say enough about Janakpur. This restaurant was recommended over many other local Indian places and apparently for a reason. Hands down delicious. I ordered the mushroom curry (vegetarian), Sweet Potato Masala (Vegan), and papad (gluten-free). Everything was very flavorful with the perfect amount of heat, spices, and so super tasty. The customer service was very helpful and informative. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Jaipar. Thanks guys, a truly amazing experience!“

“Skipped the buffet since all I wanted was Tikka Masala. One of the top recipes in all of Denver!Parking: There are only about 10 spots in their lot so you might end up needing to park in the surrounding neighborhood. Be careful of no parking signs on the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level is wheel chair accessible so you will be relegated to sitting in the bar area, no elevator to the upstairs dining room.“

“The owner of the restaurant just called me a working class driver (in a tone that sounded like he was talking to his slave from a throne) for asking him about a wait time on a delivery order for uber. I don't think my son or I will be eating here for a 7th time, we will take our hard earned lower class money to Yak & Yetti for some better made food and company. People like him that are dismissive of another persons right to service based on financial class will come back as a snake...“

“Ordered from here for the first time the other day. Everything was well spiced. I think the place I had been going had been treating me with kid gloves because the hot was actually really hot, and made me rethink my choices in life. So now I'm ordering again, if it's consistent it'll probably just be my go-to place. Need to try eating in house at some point.“

“I have been eating here for 25 years. This is the Indian food that I compare all Indian restaurants to. No other place has ever beat Namaste! The food is amazing, the owners are very friendly, and the place is always clean. We have had birthday parties there, Christmas parties there, and so, so many meals.“

“Fantastic food. We had an excellent dinner. Samosas, Chicken Korma, Garlic Naan, and more. All was well prepared. The spice level was exactly what we asked for. The drinks were good and interesting. We cannot wait to go back and try the buffet.“
“I have been a frequenter of Yak and Yeti for many years now. I have been to multiple locations of theirs (my favorite was when they were in Westminster where the Tamale Kitchen is now). I think that if you have never been to Yak and Yeti and are looking for a good Indian/Nepalese buffet, look no further. This IS the place. The buffet as a lot of good selections and they have a great drinks menu. That being said, I now feel like I need to review this place as someone who has seen it ebb and flow over the years. I think that this location is obviously the nicest interior and exterior as the other locations are pretty much just buildings with some stuff on the walls and really good food. Though, I don't think that really changes the quality of food I just thought it should be known that if you are curious about the difference of locations, that is going to be a big one. I think this particular location has the widest beer selection as well but that could be false now. It used to be that way years ago though.I will say that every time I have been to Yak and Yeti I get the buffet. I have never even looked at a menu. You should know that if you have never been that they will expect you to get the buffet because everyone does. I have seen the wait staff get kind of confused when someone does ask for a menu but they will obviously abide and not be rude about it. The buffet is king though and why people go.So, I have mentioned that the food is great and it is. Four stars alone for the food. But other things are being taken into consideration with this review and I will be the one that will say it if no one else will....Yak and Yeti is resting on its laurels. The food is great but never really changes. If it does change it is that the preparation of the already known dishes changes slightly. The flavors are always on point but the flavors are the same level of depth as they have always been. Yak and Yeti has become so stable that if you go you better find something to become your usual because that is what you will always get. Maybe they are hiding some stuff on the menu that excels from what I am stating but I don't think so.The locations all have this slightly deteriorated look that shows that they could operate at the same level as they do now and never be worried about it, and from what I know of their fan base. That is true.Their servers just exist to grab drink orders but they also don't have a normal wait staff set up. It is like a group of people are your wait staff and you can pretty much just grab anyone to get you anything. If you haven't been before this can probably be confusing but they EXPECT that you have been before or are with someone that has been because that is how this place runs. The food is great but if you don't "get" what makes Yak and Yeti good the first time you go they won't wow you the second time so you probably don't need to go back. I can tell you though that I will go back and enjoy Yak and Yeti for years to come because their food is now a source of comfort. Maybe that will be you and maybe that won't be.“

“This restaurant is amazing. I decided to look up what the word Durbar means, and it turns out it is the "court of a king or ruler." And that term is very fitting. Parking is easy. The inside is very warm, friendly, and comfortable. The staff is cheerful and on it. And the food... Just wow. I am a huge rice and chicken fan, so this is square in my wheelhouse. The buffet has lemon rice on it, which is worth the price of admission. The salad section is fresh. Most importantly, the entrees are exactly what they should be. My three favorites are the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and tandoori chicken. I could eat any of them every day and the tandoori twice a day. Big flavor, tender, and satisfying. The naan is a must-try as well. It's super easy to get here off 6th Avenue and absolutely worth it!“

“I grew up in this neighborhood and have a new great place to take my parents for dinner now when we visit them. Hard to believe how great a job they've done transforming the dry cleaners into a modern Indian restaurant. Shared a huge dinner of excellent food! From extra mild to incredibly spicy.Servers were incredibly friendly. I look forward to returning“
