Loncheria Rubi Reviews
Very rude people. Overpriced food. My opinion don’t waste your time or money. 🤷🏽♂️
Remember that Seinfeld episode, the Soup Nazi? That’s what these people are at the Loncheria Rubi - The Food Truck Nazis! I think it would kill them to smile or say hello. After years of giving them my business, I’ve decided no more. It did not help that they raised their prices. I found Pollo Azado on 3rd & North, which is far superior and much more flavorful food. Loncheria Rubi is a Mexican food truck known for its breakfast and lunch burritos. The menu offers a panbazo dish, and the prices are budget-friendly. The truck has a small gravel parking area out front, and there's plenty of parking at the nearby sprouts. It's a cash-only establishment, but there's an ATM at the gas station next door. The truck is kid-friendly, as long as they're not too picky.
The food is generally good, with great variety of dishes like gorditas and chorizo tacos, as well as tasty rice and beans. Customers recommend adding some salsa to enhance the flavor. The breakfast burrito is a favorite, with real potato pieces and fluffy scrambled eggs. However, the beef taco could use more flavor. Vegetarian options are available by simply asking to hold the meat.
Overall, Loncheria Rubi is a great spot for authentic and affordable Mexican food, offering a fast-food style experience where customers can enjoy their meal and be on their way.
