“This place was recommended to me by a good friend and I'm so glad I tried it! I got the beef chow fun, egg drop soup, and braised pork belly that came with a side of white rice. Everything was so delicious! The portion sizes are great for the price. There were plenty of large slices of tender beef in the chow fun. The egg drop soup tasted authentic. The braised pork belly had large chunks of soft and tender, melt-in-your-mouth pork belly with bok choy. It was cooked so well and fulfilled my craving for pork belly! I have been recently disappointed at other places for price not matching portion size and flavor that was lacking but this place restored my faith that there are still good Chinese restaurants out there!”

“My wife and I tried them today just picking a random new place to try. They had nice clean tables, spaced out nicely, and available seating. Food was really good, we spent about 70 between us getting Ramen and a couple of appetizers, and some dumplings. And the service was excellent and quick. Very friendly and helpful. We ate at noon but ordered breakfast. I didn’t want to be high maintenance when I ordered the eggs Benedict because I do like it a certain way and the waiter was great and reassured me that it was not high maintenance at all. Sometimes I’m afraid to ask😂 I usually order scrambled egg instead of poached or basted and an extra side of hollandaise sauce. My friend Merima, ordered eggs, turkey sausage patties and the housemade potatoes. The food came out fresh, hot, and was very, very delicious. Best of all, the hollandaise sauce was perfect👌🏾 It is hard to find a restaurant where the hollandaise sauce tastes like classic hollandaise sauce. It was exactly how I like it. The housemade potatoes were also very good and perfectly seasoned. I wish I had brought my phone so I could take pictures of the food to upload but I intentionally left it in my vehicle to be fully present. My friend suggested this place and took me as a treat. I had never been and I’m grateful that she did. We sat outside on the shaded patio and the weather was perfect for it. The entire staff was great and friendly. I will absolutely be coming again!”

“Love this restaurant and wide variety of entrees and fact that it's quiet. But perhaps becoming an inconsistent on food quality on our last visit. One steak was pretty tough and mashed potatoes were nothing like what we've had before. This time really bland like instant potatoes, previous time buttery and wonderful. Sauce on chicken cordon bleu was also really off, again really bland like it needed more or some Dijon added. Hate to give a so-so review because we've had wonderful food here.”

“I have never had a better experience at a restaurant. Not only was Carlos our server incredibly knowledgeable, kind and attentive but the food was absolutely amazing. The flavors were great, it was very authentic. It was not overwhelming at all reading the menu I wanted to try literally every dish. Amazing quality, amazing service, amazing food. I wish they were in Texas. We have nothing like that here. I will be back.”

“Met up with a few friends to grab food and drinks and decided on checking out Spitz. Couldn't have picked a better venue. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was awesome. 2000's pop punk was looping through the speakers and the walls were covered in murals of the same era. The custom drinks were also amazing. Perfect spot to hit up before a Fiddlers Green show or just to catch up with friends. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Monk Mongoose has such good coffee beverages! All of their drinks are fabulous. The baristas are excellent at espresso. It comes at a cost, though. It is not cheap, but it is very good! My only disappointments are changes to the bags of coffee. They changed to 10 oz bags for 18.50 for Home Blend instead of 12 oz, just a few weeks ago. They also made a huge change to their rewards system. It was a good rewards systems, it’s awful now. You have to spend $225 in the store to get a free large drink, whether, Americano, or a latte. That same drink was 150 points a few weeks ago.”

I had hoped for some cider, but the co2 machine wasn’t working. The wines I tried were great and I enjoyed my full glass as well. It was pretty difficult to hear the softer spoken lady across the table from me due to the noise level. Overall it was fun and I’m likely to come back again for another tasting! I’m so glad our main person brought a charcuterie board. Several people of the group had map issues sending them to the nearby brewery, but I was fine.”

The atmosphere is lovely. We met Dino, the owner, and his wife Rene, who cooks the most amazing baklava using Dino’s grandmother’s recipe. All the food was incredibly delicious and we laughed all through our meal, connecting with the employees.

If you’re looking to support a nice family owned business with really good food and a great atmosphere, this is your spot. Period!

If anyone who is into reviews - my suggestion is to go in mid-morning through mid-afternoon. They’re the friendliest people who are AWAKE and care about getting you want you order the first time. :)”
