“This is a great spot for coffee (including fancy coffee drinks!) and breakfast or lunch sandwiches that hit the spot but don't break the bank. The owner is so nice and the service is quick, so I highly recommend stopping in. I've pre-ordered breakfast for 9 people every day this week, and it comes to only about $50, plus I add tip. If you want a recommendation, I'm personally obsessed with the avocado toast.“
“This restaurant is among the top Chinese restaurants in Denver. The food is very genuine, tasty, and flavorful. The décor brings you back to old Shanghai. The atmosphere is none but classy and reminiscent. For special occasions, for family gatherings, or just for regular outings, you will not regret coming here.Be sure to try their beef/fish in chili oil. You are in for a treat!Updates (Jan 28, 2024):The food is as good as my previous review after all these years. This restaurant has a lot of authentic dishes that you won’t be disappointed. If you are unfamiliar with them, ask for the Chinese menu or ask the wait staff to assist you. For starters, try their scallion pancakes. The pancakes are freshly made and very crispy and flavorful. Their hot and sour soup is perfectly balanced, and the portion is very generous. Also try their wanton in chili oil. This is a very traditional Chinese dish. If you like spicy food, you won’t be disappointed. The chili pepper fish is another great dish to try. It’s crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Overall, this dish is very well prepared.I am a frequent customer here, and I have not being disappointed with any of my visits!Parking: Plenty of parking“
“Really liked the food! The food here is great. I think they had sugar cause there's a sweetness to everything so not completely authentic. Services good in this basic dim sum restaurant does the job if you're in the area and can't get to one of the authentic places in Denver“
“Good quality food, large portion sizes, excellent price and super friendly service all in a cozy hole in the wall setting. China Lee is absolutely landing in our regular rotation. We went for dinner, but I could see this being a cool lunch spot too!“
“Expecting a small plate and small servings we were pleasantly surprised! The food, drinks, and service was great! The lounge was very hot because the large fireplace was on. It's beautiful but made our experience a little uncomfortable.“
“Yummy! And a ton of gluten free options. I love the sesame chicken and the orange beef. I can’t find GF Chinese food like this anywhere else.Dietary restrictions: Great Gluten Free optionsKid-friendliness: Older kids, well behaved, not a problem. Most of the clientele is older though so I wouldn’t recommend bringing the little league team.“
“This was my second time at Q House and they did not disappoint!!! The food arrived in a very timely manner, extremely tasty, as expected, and the service was phenomenal! I would recommend this restaurant over and over based on the exceptional overall experience, price and location!“
“Small but great Asian restaurant with an extensive menu. Flavor is very authentic/tasty along with generous portions. Prices are excellent for the service and quality of food served. Bathrooms are clean. One of the best Asian places in Denver, in my opinion. Highly recommended.Parking: Easy to find parking spots.“
“I ordered takeout, and I was amazed at the quality of the dumplings. Every one was intact, beautiful and delicious! They seemed to be made with such precision and love. The Crystal Shrimp dumplings were my favorite! I will definitely order from here again.“
“For Colorado, this place did not disappoint! The flavors were really good and service was pleasant. We got several dishes and all of them were delicious and authentic in my opinion! The wait was pretty long and we had to wait about 20min to be seated. The price was reasonable but on the pricier side. Other than that, there were no downsides!“
“Yummy! This was some of the best Asian food I've had! Pad Thai was delicious and so was the fried rice, probably THE BEST fried rice I've ever had. The panang curry was also so good, it was actually thick and not soupy like others. Even the steamed rice was noteworthy! Everything was very fresh! My only complaint is that the XXX hot could be hotter! And the food a a tad on the greasy side, tho I expect that. I got delivery and everything was packaged well and came hot! The driver texted me that it was still being made when he arrived, but assured me it was worth the wait. He wasnt wrong! Will be bringing my family here next special occasion!“
“We’ve tried a few Indian restaurants in Denver. This was by far the best. The menu was great, several new dishes that we never had before. Every single item we tried was awesome. We loved the crazy butter idly. It was very different from the typical idly sambar. The onion rava dosa, mla pesaratu dosa and chole batura were a few other dishes we ate. Extremely vegetarian friendly. 50% of the menu was vegetarian.Overall, loved the place. Will surely visit again.“
“Love the ambiance. No complaints with the service. A blessing these days. The host and waitress was attentive and sweet. The decor was fun and interesting to look at. The photos and artwork were a conversation piece. Now the food, the spicy noodles was on point. A new flavor I haven't tasted. I also enjoy the scallion pancakes and wings. I'm happy I decided to try this place out. Some people next to me ordered drinks and if I was in the mood to have alcohol, I would have definitely ordered a glass or two. This place is a must try, I don't think you'll regret it.“
“I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. I have been eating here as well as ordering delivery from this place for years. The food is always consistent and fresh. It is also a nice twist to the contemporary cuisine.Hands down, my favorite Asian place to eat“
“So tasty, get their Sichuan foods or other Chinese classics, skip the Japanese and Thai offerings. Staff are very friendly, big portions. Twice cooked pork, yang chow fried rice and Singapore noodles are all killer, shrimp and scallions is a must eat.“
“I had such an amazing experience at this location. The food was amazing, but even better were the team members. Our service was on point. I would really like to thank the support team. We were politely greeted with smiles from both Rob and Autumn at the host stand. Our appetizers were delivered to us by Quinn, they said we were in for a treat with the chicken lettuce wraps and crispy green beans. A kind gentleman was bussing tables and noticed that my Husband’s drink was getting low and he offered to refill it for us, when he came back I asked what his name was, Alex! I told him how refreshing it is to see so many happy team member's at one location. But I can’t forget Haddon, he was the gentleman that delivered our entrees, and we had realized we had forgotten to order our favorite side, the spicy green beans, he assured us not to worry and that he would let our server know and bring them out as soon as they were done. Such a wonderful experience my husband and I had at this downtown location. The manager Katie even came by to see how our experience was! Really truly a great support team at this restaurant. We will be back!“
“Calimari was rubbery. As soon as we let our server know they took care of it and did not charge us. The food was served hot and was delicious. I miss the lidded rice bowls, they kept the rice warm throughout the meal.Overall it was a very good experience. We'll be back.“
“Amazing food and great service! I was craving Szechuan food and this absolutely hit the spot. We ordered the homestyle eggplant and pork and it was incredible - felt like it was melting in your mouth. The spicy boiled fish was spicy and delicious. Will definitely be back!!“
“new favorite hot pot spot. love that everything gluten free is labeled on the menu. try the spicy and kimchi soup mixed, or the dark chicken broth. I added a ton of garlic right away in the chicken broth and it was perfect. theyre very attentive, you can of course order more as you go (all you can eat). don't forget the condiment station in the back, sweet chili sauce siracha are must havesDietary restrictions: GF labeled on the menu“
“It took me four years to find this little place, and oh how I wish I would have found it sooner!I'm always on the hunt for great dumplings, and New China Cafe delivers. The Crispy Fried Dumplings are amazing. The best I've found so far. And the sauce that come with them? I could drink a whole cup of it, it's that good.I also get their Chicken Lo Mein. It always comes out hot and fresh. The vegetables are crisp, the chicken moist, and the noodles have just the right chewiness and the flavor is spot on.I've also tried their Pork Fried Rice and the Cream Cheese Wontons. Both are very good as well, but Lo Mein and Dumplings are my go-to.It's carry out or delivery only, but every time I'm in, they're busy with orders. Despite this, I always get my order quickly and piping hot. The staff are friendly and it's always nice to have a quick conversation with them.I highly recommend New China Cafe.“
“We were pleasantly surprised by how good this restaurant is. The place was pristinely cleanly including the bathrooms. The staff is amazing and the food is even better! I had BBQ pork fried rice since it was their special for the day. The Thai Jasmine Honey tea was A+ as well. Best egg drop soup I have ever had. Will be returning and very soon. Thank you Asian Spice“
“I can’t believe I haven’t dined here before! This was my first time eating dinner here, and I was delighted by the authentic Chinese cuisine. My favorite dish was the pork with pickled veggies (mei cai kou rou) although all of the dishes were tasty. The service was excellent. My server, Tan, was super attentive and kind. Thank you for an unexpectedly great dinner! Will be back for sure.“
“Stopped in on a bike ride and couldn't have been more pleased. The food was so delicious and service was excellent. Orange chicken was light and crispy, the pork dumplings were juicy and had a nice crunch, and the crab cheese wontons were perfect. The mango boba and iced Vietnamese coffee were both delicious and refreshing. Will definitely be back! Heard they have new ownership who have helped with the food quality. Not sure what it was like before, but it was amazing the other day.“
“Great food and the service here is fast! Coming here on Easter Sunday, we were seated pretty fast. I got the rice plate with the marinated beef and it was really tasty. But there was a gentleman who was bringing our bowl of hot Pho over and he placed directly next to my 2 year old niece, even though there was room on the table to place the bowl. We were lucky her first reaction wasn’t to touch the bowl. But I understand they were just busy and in a rush. Overall good food.“
“If you want something unique and homemade taste ? ? this is your spot. Jeff is great at introducing us to his new menu items, and every time we fall in love ❤️ ? with new flavors. Try the French toast to end your meal you won't be disappointed ?. Honestly great for my Foodie peeps.“
“This is a great Chinese take-out place! Highly recommend it. The Mongolian Beef and Hot and Sour soup is best I’ve had in Denver. The Kung Pao chicken is very very good, so is the Sesame chicken. It’s also 30%+ cheaper than all the other places. It’s our new go to, I haven’t had a bad dish here yet.“
“Food was great! Got the spicy brisket stir fry noodles and the pork buns. They were both awesome. Service was great and everyone there was super friendly and helpful! It was a little confusing to find, but for anyone who is looking it is inside the Volcano Tea. Good place for a quick bite the is delicious!“
“I love this place. The service is always great - they’re patient, nice, offer good recs and don’t take long binging food out. You have to try their lo mein & soup dumplings. Their noodles are SO flavorful! It’s also usually pretty empty so definitely go support a local business!“
“Aki is a great place to eat, whether it's dinner for two or for a reunion with friends. You never have to wait long for your food to be served. The sauce bar at Aki has the best sauce choices for any hot pot restaurant in Colorado. They do accept reservations, so I highly recommend you make some if you're coming in with a group of 6 or more. I've never had a negative experience at Aki. And the best part is they serve you vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry ice cream at the end of your meal!“
“We have ordered dinner from 101 Asian Fusion about every couple weeks when we don't feel like making dinner. They have a wide variety of dishes you can choose from to satisfy just about any taste. We almost always order it for delivery as we live in the Cherry Creek neighborhood and they are just down the street. The delivery is always prompt and the food is always still hot. We always have leftovers which heats up nicely for lunch the next day. Give them a try. Remember to tip the driver as the delivery doesn't go through one of the services.“
“We've been going to Karma for many years and we will continue to. The food is fresh, the service is exceptional and the environment is relaxing. I've tried many of the items on the menu and have never been disappointed. I'm so glad they survived COVID! I highly recommend it!“
“good authentic asian food. Asian people actually work here. I usually order a tofu noodle dish and a hot & sour soup (and I pick it up). Seems like a family owned small business. In a safer neighborhood next to Amazon's Ideal Market.“
“For a Chinese restaurant, I thought this place was great! It really exceeded my expectations. The food was so good and really good quality. My chicken was covered in sauce but still crispy. I also got a green tea that did not taste watered down. And I thought the pricing was fair for the quality of food you got. Plus the staff was so nice. I will be going back.“
“I have been searching for a classic Chinese food spot with CLASSIC PRICES (if you know what I mean) the staff are very friendly! Ordered the steak hibachi and chicken dumplings it was very hot and fresh when I picked it up! It doesn’t get better than this! They have themselves a new customer!“
“We tried Yung Gung after seeing this place all the time eating at Tofu story next door. I am really glad we did. The food was a Korean Chinese fusion which I have only had in Southern California. The must try is the fried chicken is spicy garlic sauce. You can’t go wrong coming to Yung Gung!“
“I’ve only gotten take out from here, but every time I’ve gotten food here it’s been phenomenal, and the staff is incredibly friendly. On my most recent trip I got the sesame chicken, cumin chicken, and wonton soup. Every item had such a rich fresh flavor and was a huge portion. I’d highly recommend trying the cumin chicken. By far my favorite Chinese food in Denver.“
“One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in town! If you're into authentic Chinese cuisine, this is the place! Every dish is amazing and makes you feel like home (I hardly ever do this on social ap). Great customer service, not too crowded yet I don't know how?! And as much as I enjoy seeing my two little girls asking me to take them back there every time every week, I can't wait for everyone to check out this place! Or go Panda Express IDK~“
“I am grateful this place is located in a good area. The food is fresh and associates are wonderful. I like how they have two menus, one for sushi and other for main courses. The wait for food is short after ordering. I go by myself here but this could be a place for date night. My favorite food here is called drunken noodles... I wish it was more spice.Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be cooked without meat and the do have dishes like aged tofu.Parking: Depending on the day, parking in front of the restaurant can be difficult.Kid-friendliness: They have tables that have booths and kids chairs.Wheelchair accessibility: They don't have automatic doors but the restaurant layout makes dining in comfortable.“
“We greatly enjoyed Hong Kong Cafe. We had never been there and we found it on line and noticed that they had very good reviews. We had a great meal for 13 people. The service was courteous, fast and excellent and the food portions generous and delicious. I only wish we lived closer so we could visit more often.“
“I always grab take out. My food comes out fast, hot, and tastes amazing!! I love all of their tofu and vegetable dishes and their egg rolls. My husband loves the salt and pepper chicken, shrimp fried rice plus the dishes I get. I don't think there's a dish you'll order you won't like! Today I ordered szechuan tofu and egg rolls and my husband got salt & pepper chicken and shrimp fried rice. I always dig in so fast I forget to takes pics. But here's pics of the aftermath lol!“
“We discovered Bistro King on Christmas 2023. We did not have a reservation and they were packed but they fit us in anyway. We had a wonderful meal with fantastic service. We have been back almost every week since. The weekday lunch specials are really good and plenty of food for us to take home as well. The outside looks sketchy but clean, fresh, and pretty inside.“
“We were in Denver this past weekend for a relative's wedding. Our contingent consisted of people from local denver, Hong Kong, Vancouver, Toronto, Boston, New York and ... Copenhagen! We all conclude that the dim sum served are truly authentic and very well made. It is a very nice find.“
“A fun spot for all ages! I had the tantanmen Ramen with the perfect spice that if you are not careful tickles that one spot in the back of your throat. Our meal was delivered by the cute little robot to the delight of all to see! The restaurant is decorated so fun with an Asian fair. Love the animation of the giant noodle bowl just outside the restaurant. Just a fun spot“
“Fantastic lunch venue! The food was super tasty and came out within a reasonable time, which was good cause we were hungry. The bar staff Alex and Thomas were both so attentive and knew what we needed before we did. Abril the manager stopped by to say hello and gave us the warmest most sincere welcome to the restaurant. Even though she was busy she took the time to make us feel at home!“
“My three friend and I stopped by here before we go to ski in the mountain. We come from the airport. With some dumplings and noodles and fried rice.It gave us good fuel for The next days great skiing.Especially we were amazed by the light the winter light around this area. The town looks like a wonderland.“
“Our extended family had out of town company and at the last minute couldn't meet at the home we were planning on so ended up here at the suggestion of a family member.I was so impressed with everything. It's a small place and we descended on them with a dozen people and they were so kind and helpful. The food came quickly and was delicious. We have everyone from beef eaters to vegetarians and everyone was happy. My husband was unsure what to order and the person taking the order was friendly and patient, she didn't seem at all annoyed. She even noticed that one of my kids was away from the table when she was going to take a family photo for us.I usually feel gross and spacey after eating Chinese food but was able to get brown rice and vegetables to go with the chicken and felt great afterwards. But they still had all the standards that we expect from a Chinese food restaurant. Everything was prepared just right. The meat was surprisingly tender, juicy, and flavorful. (I've come to expect tough meat with gristle but everything tasted great!)I probably won't be back because I live on the other side of town but wanted to give credit for a great experience I wasn't expecting. ?“
“We recently relocated to NoCo from MD. We have not been able to find any Asian cuisine in our area that is decent. We drive 40 mins to enjoy the delicious cuisine at Little Ollie's. Our son loves sushi and we prefer the classic wok options. There's something for everyone. It's always consistently fresh and tasty! This time our server, Jackson, was so incredibly welcoming and pleasant. He was attentive and helpful with food suggestions.“
“I love this place. The food is flavorful without being overly salty. Honestly my biggest complaint is trying to narrow down what I want to order. So far I've enjoyed the wonton soup, fried cheese wontons, egg rolls, cashew chicken, sesame chicken (which can be made not spicy), Mongolian beef, kung pao chicken, and fried rice.“
“Recently visited JJ's Bistro and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming. We started with the Wontons, which were flavorful and delicious. We ordered the chicken lo mein, orange chicken, and broccoli beef. The ingredients were fresh, and the seasoning was spot-on. The waiter was super friendly and funny, making our dining experience even more pleasant. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Chinese cuisine. It is a hidden gem!“
“BEST poke I've ever had. Im visiting from California and was craving poke. Was surprised by both the price, the size of the pieces of fish, that amount of fish, and the overall freshness. If you're a poke or sushi lover, this place is a must. I'm excited to try their sushi later on this week!“
