“Ever since Pier 8 denied my service 1hr 1/2 before close, this seafood place has been my go to! The food tastes incredible (which says a lot since we are land locked), the service is always amazing and I'm always greeted and welcomed in with a smile! Screw Pier 8! The Yabby Hut is the only good place to go if your really craving a delicious seafood boil❤️“

“Delicious oysters! You can order from the Pho restaurant as well, so I often get a seafood dinner with Vietnamese Iced Coffee for dessert, or I'll get oysters as an appetizer before having Pho for dinner.Parking: Always plenty of open, free parking.“

“Decided to try out a new little food joint this time. Honestly, probably the best place in the entire shopping mall for food. Legitimately sincare, here! Not only do you get a pretty reasonably priced meal on the cheaper end, but you also get quite a bit of the sides to go with it. Really fills you up, too! Got the Bourbon Chicken with lo mein. Probably gunna be full for like a month! The service was also very kind, too. The lady that served us scooped the dry top pile of chicken, but followed up going into the base of the bin and getting those sweet juices drizzled all on top. Making this whole meal just awesome.Wheelchair accessibility: Inside mall with nearby wheelchair acco.odated tables.“

“This place rocked. The host got us seated quickly, our server was super nice, had great recommendations, and the food was delicious. If you like brunch with a unique Cajun/New Orleans/ rustic twist, you will like this place. They have their own habanero hot sauce which was insanely delicious and balanced. Not to mention it’s all somehow all happening in a beautiful house with an amazing rooftop patio. 5/5“

“What a fun adventure! I had never done something like this before. We shared a comb boil, which did not disappoint! We got the Cajun seasoning with no spice, which was wonderful. A good amount of sea food and a side variety. The flavors melded well together. Definitely will be back to try other seasonings and increase the spice level.“

“Another must visit if you find yourself in The Mile High City. This cajun restaurant is operated out of a beautiful and cozy Victorian house which added to the wholesome atmosphere. The food was sublime; the beignets, cheesy grits, and omelets did not disappoint. The only downside was the food coma afterwards.“

“Jax offered a decent meal experience albeit pricey. Staff was all very welcoming and friendly. While the bar area had ample staffing there seemed to be only two servers and one assistant for the entire restaurant which made interaction with the server almost non existent. That stated the overwhelmed server we had was friendly the few times we saw her and was doing the best she could. The food was decent but they love their spices and the MauiMaui was served with a paste that had a nip to it that was a bit much for my taste. The bread, served in a butter oil type sauce, was very good but again the sauce was strongly spiced. The chocolate oil cake and Ceaser salad were average. On the flip side the crab cake was excellent with chunks of crab. My wife enjoyed her salmon dish. The atmosphere was a bit loud and the air was set colder than it needed to be. Overall while I was glad to have tried Jax I'm not sure I'd go back as it did not seem up to the very high prices they have. For the prices I had hoped for a higher level experience. A better experience can be found elsewhere at more reasonable prices.“
