I went for breakfast mid morning. I had a delicious chorizo scrambler . . .mess of a sort with all the ingredients mixed in one plate. It was so good that I attempted to return but found it closed later in the week.

Busy for breakfast, staff is friendly and hard working. Huge menu for breakfast and lunch. I had a veggie skillet with the fixings. Free parking onsite. Not fancy but good

I just went in there to have breakfast sat there for 15 minutes did not clean my table while the owner looked at me 3 or 4 times.I would have been a rated it one star, but I had to, in order to put this comment on there to the owner, get a better attitude on life

Great Diner on the west side. When you are looking for a greasy spoon with a fantastic plate of eggs or a cheap steak or burger this Diner is great! I only wish I had the chance to eat here more. The staff is awesome, the decor is homey and the food is too notch.

Quite possibly the best breakfast burritos in Lakewood, much in part due to the awesome homemade green chili. The pork is nice and tender and the chili has an initial spice to it but then subsides. The potatoes are served on the side, so it's all egg and sausage, bacon, or steak inside the burrito, so you get more bang for your buck. A lot of places put too much potato in their breakfast burrito as filler which makes it cheaper for them but I usual don't go back to those places. It has a nice suburban diner feel to it. The servers are quite friendly and so are the other patrons; it's quite easy to strike up a conversation with other people at the counter with the news playing on the tv in the corner or something current that's happening in town. The price is pretty right (could be lower in my opinion) but a smothered breakfast burrito and a cup of coffee with "unlimited refills" will run you about $8.00 with the tip. I haven't had a lunch item there, although I went with my sister and the tuna fish sandwich she got looked pretty good. But when I go to diners, I'm getting the breakfast, and that's the way to go at the Doll House. Especially their Mexican breakfasts with their fabulous green chili. I've had the biscuits and gravy, which was okay. If anything it made me regret not getting their breakfast burrito.

Not sure about the Motel side of the business, but the Cafe is great for breakfast. I had the brekkie burrito and it was very tatsy and inexpensive. So if you are on west colfax looking for a good cheap breakfast, head to the doll house.
