“I just moved to the area and was craving Chinese! This place is amazing! The food arrived hot, quickly, and in reusable to-go containers, which we love! We got the hot and sour soup, egg rolls, vegetables with garlic sauce, and sweet and sour chicken dinner combo! The fried rice for the combo was delicious as well as the crab rangoon. Everything, literally everything, was so crunchy and so fresh!! The hot mustard is also INCREDIBLE! Definitely a bang for your buck, I’d highly recommend and I can’t wait to eat here again!“

“This is our 4tu time ordering from Wild Basil and having the food delivered. Our favorite neighborhood restaurant for over 30 years, China Taipei, closed in April. We REALLY miss it and have been searching for a replacement.
I think that we have found it! Our deliveries have arrived earlier than expected (which is great) and the food has been very good.👍 Ordering online is simple and the drivers have been very polite.
We sure miss the following items that you don’t serve - Scallion Pancakes, and Chicken or Shrimp Chop Suey, and free Fortune Cookies for dessert. Any chance you would ever consider adding any of them? 😉😋 (Especially Chow Mein!)

“We had such a wonderful experience here! We came in for ramen and pho, and honestly, I don’t even know where to start. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were incredibly generous.

I was actually planning to order extra noodles because sometimes you get a bowl of ramen or pho and there just aren’t quite enough noodles. But after seeing the portions here, there was absolutely no need! They give you plenty of everything, and the regular portion was more than enough.

One thing that really stood out to me was how friendly, genuine, and attentive our hostess was. She was incredibly welcoming and, rather than simply letting us order extra noodles and potentially waste them, she honestly told us, “If you order extra noodles, you might not finish them because we already serve quite a lot.” I really appreciated that. It says a lot about someone when they care more about giving you honest advice and making sure you have a great experience than simply selling you something extra.

The food, the portions, and especially the service were all fantastic. This is definitely a place we’ll be coming back to in the future. Highly recommend!“

“Stayed in a hotel nearby and wanted chinese food. This place was close and had good reviews. Ordered take out. Good portion for the price. Got the shrimp egg rolls, crab cheese wonton, fried dumplings, sweet and sour chicken, and orange chicken. The shrimp egg rolls were awesome, dumplings were good, crab cheese wontons could have had more crab, the chicken for the sweet and sour was well done so some pieces were a bit dry but fine overall, the orange chicken was about the same.

“I grew up in Colorado and have been eating here since I was a kid. It’s one of my favorite restaurants around and is my go-to for comfort food. Everything I’ve ordered has been delicious but their slippery chicken(not on the menu anymore but they’ll still make it for me) and their steamed dumplings are my absolute favorites. I always order steamed dumplings whenever I go to any Chinese restaurant and I have yet to find any I like as much as the ones they make at Golden Taipei. Love this restaurant.“
