All things considered- restaurant type, price, style of food, I really just didn’t care for it. Tried the Katsu & BBQ plate. Katsu was fine, mac salad was actually pretty good, but I didn’t like the accompanying sauce or anything else on the plate. Very plain, dry, and stringy meat and below-average quality. I’ve never met a wonton I couldn’t eat, but these were not super tasty either. Feels like if Panda Express wanted to add some new “Hawaiian inspired” items to the menu & tack on a 50% up-charge. You do get plenty of food though.

The food was quite good, for a fast food place. The tables could have been a bit cleaner but overall was decent. The only issue I had was the price. I paid $70 for 3 people, for 3 meals and 3 drinks. A big part of my issue is with the 'forced' tip. Selections were 15%/20%/25%, which ended up being almost 9 dollars for my whole order. I'm sorry but we are coming to you, ordering at the front and then picking up our food, cleaning our table and cleaning after. It is an insult to charge extra for tips. I'm still providing a good rating, as the food was really good, but I won't come back due to the overall cost and tip culture.

Nice place for what could be considered fast food. Staff were friendly and attentive. I got the Aloha plate, Kona Fire Chicken was amazing. They did well with the Chicken Katsu, but it really does need some kind of sauce to go with it. Otherwise quite happy with the

Meh. There is nothing special about Kona Hawaiian. Their website claims everything is scratch made but the "Krispy Shrimp" was a lot like Sam's Club frozen, with more doughy batter than shrimp. The "BBQ chicken" reminded me of Tyson's frozen Teriyaki chicken, i.e. gooey and over-processed. The plain rice was OK and I found the macaroni salad bland, gooey and unappetizing. I did drive through and assumed the long 10 min wait time was because the food was being made to order. The staff was friendly and efficient. There is ample parking day or night.

I love this place. The food is good and pretty close to what you get in Hawaii. If you've got a craving to be in Hawaii this place will curb it.

I didn't know this was here until I accidentally saw it in my map application. It is worth a try- If you're used to Hawaiian BBQ from a chain called Ono Hawaiian Grill, then this is essentially the same concept. The person who helped me was kind and patient, which I don't expect, but really appreciated. I got takeout, so I can't comment on the Ambiance, but it looks like a typical fast food place. The mac salad is legit as far as I can tell. Not sure if it's made with the same mayo as what I had in Hawaii, but it's tasty so I don't care. Food came out great and not a long wait. I'm definitely going to be back; I am even trying to find excuses to go to harvest junction, which is a bit of a drive for me, but hey if it's for this food, I'll make the trip.

I REALLY wanted to like this place...I gave it three chances, and unfortunately, the poor food quality is what it is. $17 for a beef bowl and drink, and the beef was not edible. It was mostly tendons and fat...bite after bite ended up being spit into napkins. It truly was not edible, total garbage food. Step your game up if you're going to charge these prices.

Kona was a restaurant I had been wanting to visit the past several times I was on Longmont and I was so happy that I was able to finally make it. I ordered the short rib plate which came with 3 short ribs, 2 scoops of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad. The rice and macaroni salad were ok but the ribs were absolutely delicious but surprisingly the star of the show was the steamed cabbage underneath the ribs. More often that not at Hawaiian BBQ places ( and I have been to many) tend to ignore the cabbage or whatever else they decide to put under the short ribs but this cabbage was amazing. The short ribs fat and juices drip down into it so it takes on that flavor but the fact that the steamed cabbage was done perfectly with just enough bit really make it stand out. I am excited to get back to Kona and try something else! Happy Eating can be done here! :)

Lyndsey is an absolute Pro! I love the atmosphere and most of all how I feel after receiving accupuncture. My cancer pain is gone for up a week after receiving accupuncture. This is the real deal. I highly recommend Kona.

I just ordered delivery through Door Dash and the food just arrived, when I tell you this food is stunning, I mean it! The flavor is spot on and it's fresh and I just genuinely appreciate the customer service that was provided on my order. I cannot wait to visit the establishment in person and experience the ambiance because I'm sure it's spot on as well. Thank you so much Kona Hawaiian BBQ you knocked this out of the park! Time to grub! - Krystal D
