I didn't know this was here until I accidentally saw it in my map application. It is worth a try- If you're used to Hawaiian BBQ from a chain called Ono Hawaiian Grill, then this is essentially the same concept. The person who helped me was kind and patient, which I don't expect, but really appreciated. I got takeout, so I can't comment on the Ambiance, but it looks like a typical fast food place. Kona was a restaurant I had been wanting to visit the past several times I was on Longmont and I was so happy that I was able to finally make it. I ordered the short rib plate which came with 3 short ribs, 2 scoops of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad. The rice and macaroni salad were ok but the ribs were absolutely delicious but surprisingly the star of the show was the steamed cabbage underneath the ribs.
