Longmont Meals On Wheels provided 5 daily meals at no charge when my husband was released from rehab. He was at UCHEALTH Longmont for 4 weeks, then was transferred to UCHEALTH Broomfield for 2 weeks, then was transferred to Aviva rehab in Aurora for 2 weeks. Upon returning home, those 5 free meals gave me a little bit of a break after the back and forth driving, and sitting in the hospital for hours, and more than once a day while he was in Longmont. Thanks to the dedicated people who work as a team to keep this program working. Recently, I received a personal birthday card and then a "care package" containing food items--I didn't have any of them on my shelf; I was very happy to receive them. Meals are nutritious and have helped me maintain my weight and a good schedule. Thank you all so much!
