We had reservations for a party at 5 on a Saturday night. We were seated at a table that should be for a party of four so we were quit cozy. When our waitress saw this, she promptly asked us if we'd like a bigger table and moved us to a more appropriate sized table. The lighting was much better too. The food was delicious! I had the ribeye sandwhich. T8he roll that is on has a crunchy out layer but the inside is soft and fresh. The steak was nicely seasoned and cooked leaving it tender and juicy. The prime rib was huge! Everyone in our party of 5 loved their food. Drinks were perfectly balanced and very refreshing. Service was really good. We will be back.

I asked the server how the seafood pasta was and she replied "It's great! It is so big I don't think anyone has ever finished it" well, it wasn't big, but I definitely understand why no one has ever finished it. They didn't even bother draining the canned crab before plopping it on top of a bed of unseasoned penne. This is the first review I have ever written but the food really was "download yelp and write a review" bad.

Nice vibe. Great salads. Good staff. Try the stuffed trout And grandmas deep fried strawberries for dessert

There was a challenge when we arrived as we had a Groupon deal. It eventually got rectified. It could have been handled better. Bur once it was rectified, all was good. The food was very good and the value good - even without a Groupon deal - very reasonable prices. We will go back.

Under new ownership. Executive Chef Bill Lusk and his wife Danielle are the new owners who hail from South Carolina. South Carolina’s loss is Longmont’s gain! We stopped in for dinner last night and were treated to great, innovative food packed with intricate and deep flavors. I had the chimichurri burger with pico de gallo, homemade queso fresco and chimichurri. It was wonderfully flavorful, a good portion and hot. Companion had the pork chops which were bathed in flavors of Autumnal glory with an apple Demi glaze, blue cheese crumbles and Brussels sprouts. Really interesting and awesome flavor combinations that come together in a marvelous way on the tongue. The chocolate cake was fabulous too with a depth of flavor that was full and mysterious. Wonderful food, very friendly owners and staff. Do yourselves a favor and give them a try. They’re supposed to be renowned for their farm to table steaks… that’s what we’ll be trying next!

Attended my friends wedding at their upstairs venue. The list of problems with the experience is way too long to list in full but here are the top contenders: - bartender wasn't behind the bar for first 20 minutes of cocktail hour, we weren't allowed to go downstairs - no staff were serving water or collecting plates after the meal - found out later tables were numbered incorrectly so MoB and MoG were seated in the back away from sweetheart table. - chairs and highchairs for children were dirty/sticky TL/DR; avoid venue. Bartender downstairs was amazing. Drinks were inexpensive and poured well. It's unfortunate we had new hires and untrained staff upstairs. I would give the steakhouse itself a try in the future but couldn't be paid to attend an event hosted at this location.

Our server Kaitlyn was very attentive and knowledgeable about the drink and food menu. My filet was perfect and my husband had the trout. This is a hidden Gem and I'll be back!!

The drinks were amazing ... The food on the other hand was not.. I would expect that if you want to call yourself the best in town for anything that your staff and food needs to represent that.. I will be going to Longmont public house instead of here.

since the new chef and menu have arrived the food quality has taken a hit and my favorite items are no longer available. I step backwards in my opinion. The food we had last week was bland and nothing like what the special described. Disappointing for a once wonderful restaurant.

Terrible experience! We sat at our table 45 min. Waste of time. We asked for some service, and they finally took our drink order but never came back. The restaurant was empty. I can only imagine how they are when they are actually busy!

Overall , it was a bit disappointing in atmosphere. A little too much cow and booths needed to be dusted due to the renovations recently completed . A few more menu choices in all categories would be nice . The prime rib was perfect and delicious !!

Ordered steak medium well; half of the steak was burnt, other half was rare. My husband ordered pork chops which came out dry. My 3 year old ordered off of the kids menu. All she wanted was a cheeseburger. We ordered her the sliders which ended up being 3 burgers. She could barely finish one! If you're looking for a great steak restaurant, this is not the place.

It was our anniversary, and the wait staff was great. Honestly, the food was marginal. I love this place and have eaten and drank here many times, but the quality of the food has gone downhill. We're going to give it a break due a while and try it again in a few months to see if the food is back up to par. We want to love this place!

Came in for Father's Day had reservations for 7pm didn't get sat down at table until 8. At that time was told half the menu was not available because they have been busy and sold out. In addition to running behind . We ended up leaving. Have no comment on the food we didn't try it. Really ruined the Father's Day dinner plans .

Great service, great drinks, good food. I will go back.My wife's Lemon Drop was the best drink she's ever had.My Cobb salad was good, but the Maytag Bleu dressing was a bit vinegary. Huge portion for only $6 though. My steak was tasty, but a bit over-cooked. It came with zucchini, squash and onions that were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Garlic mashed potatoes were good too, but could have used more garlic (depending on what your plans are after dinner, of course). My wife's saffron scallops were also good, but could have used more saffron. Tender and perfectly cooked though.Fried strawberries for dessert were also good, but the chocolate sauce was a bit sweet. A dark chocolate would have been better.
