“Tamales, fish tacos and the fish plate were all great! All were hearty portions and cost seemed be reasonable. $8 for 2 fish tacos is a great deal since each covered 2 tortillas and were smothered in the fixings with nice slices of avocado to boot.Fish is heavy on the breading, but a great taste.Tamales were hot and large. Much better size than the ones you get at the farmers market on Saturdays in Monument. We don’t do a lot of food trucks, but they have a nice setup. You order, and they provide a pager so you can wait in your car. Food was all piping hot when we got home which was about 3 miles away where they were parked at the Santa Fe trailhead in Monument.Warning - The green salsa is quite hot. Maybe ask for an alternate needed.Definitely will visit again, if only to try the other salsas. ?“
“Best place in Monument for home-style Mexican food. The Pozole is perfect for a cold Colorado day, and the margaritas are, hands down, the best on the front range. Also has a wonderful patio and many covered outdoor seating options when the weather is nice and a beautiful view of Mount Herman.“
“We love Arlene's Beans. The taquitos and stacked enchiladas are my favorite. The margaritas are the best and the service is great. We get our food pretty quick no matter what time of day we visit. It's pretty good for a fast casual restaurant.“
“A hole in the wall place!! We absolutely loved everything about this place! The tamarind wings were SO GOOD. I loved the margarita flight. They offer Maggie Margaritas for kids here, which are non alcoholic. I had my first molcajete here and it arrived to the table still boiling!! Very family friendly restaurant. My kids loved all their food too. We had such a nice server. Did not catch his name but he was very friendly. The menu is also very beautiful as well. The food portions are larger. Spent about $100 (without tip) for a family of 5, kids drinks, kids meals, adult beverages, wings, and one molcajete! Not all of the menu is pictured here. There is definitely something for everyone here!“
“Went in for lunch, no crowds wide open seating. Ordered the Colorado Burrito. Food looked great served, the salsa was very good. Not sure about the bean dip as I don’t do beans. Food was filling and couldn’t finish. Seemed as if there were 2 kinds of steak in side burrito. I would return, I bought the ladies lunch at the table behind me, I hope they enjoyed their lunch too!“
“This is usually my go to in CO, great food, only 4 stars because they are low level criminals lol. prices do not match the board, they will add on things to bump your total up and never give you a receipt…I found out from looking at my checking account. It was only a couple bucks more, but it probably adds up for them. Its petty crime but crime nonetheless.“
“I honestly thought that this was a fast food place when I would pass it but it is actually an upscale Mexican restaurant! My husband and I had an amazing date night here and it was the perfect place to enjoy dinner after a stressful day. We both ordered margaritas that were balanced but strong. You can tell they use quality tequila and fresh lime juice for their drinks. After ordering our drinks they brought us out fresh chips and salsa. The chips were warm and you can tell they were fried in house because of their texture. For diner I ordered one of the combo plates that had a little bit of everything. It came with your choice of soup or salad and I choose their delicious pozole. The food was amazing but what truly impressed us was the service. I have never had such attentive service before and the staff were amazing.“
