We've got Castle Rock's top Mexican restaurants covered for you.
“Pollo Eats is everything that you would want in a little taqueria. Great service (and friendly staff). Great atmosphere. But most importantly, great burritos. We tried both the Al pastor and the carnitas, and recommend both. Definitely get them smothered....the green chile is outstanding. The negatives that I have are small. 1. The chair (metal stools actually) suck 2. This might be a personal pet peeve, and just bad luck with how my burrito was rolled...but it was rolled up with all the meat in one side. We will certainly be back to Pollo eats. The chips and salsa were great ! Warm chips is always a great touch. We got the guacamole too. It was good, but too expensive to recommend.“
“Stopped in for breakfast burritos for the first time a couple weeks ago. Decided to try dinner tonight. Best Mexican food in Castle Rock. What a gem. This restaurant doesn’t have all the big hype like the big two in the Promenade. It has something better. Authentic and delicious tasting food. Can’t believe I drove past this place a couple hundred times without stopping in. Don’t make the same mistake I did.“
“Pretty cool place. Chips are amazing and the California heat tacos are pretty good. The service is kind of hit or miss. Sometimes I come here and the people are nice and talkative but other times it has been some of the most awkward interactions I have ever had.“
“I love this place! Everything is always really flavorful, but I love adding the hot sauces. My favorite server Allie always makes sure everything is perfect! Wish they would bring in a vegan taco with tofu or something, but they always make do with what they have on hand.Kid-friendliness: High chairs, quesadillas, beans and rice, flexible and fast.“
“Wonderful breakfast, brunch & lunch spot! Loved sitting in old church pews. We had the mimosa flight, which was a large amount of champagne ?Pancakes were amazing! All of our food was terrific. It’s crowded—come early or later before closing. Highly recommend ✅“
“the Staff! 3 of us ladies came in for lunch today, 7/13, after not seeing one another for 20 some years. Emily was our waitress and was so sweet AND patient! April! Amazing and funny! Thank you ALL for tolerating us and being such great Hosts! we will be back!“
“The tacos Al Pastor and Al Carbon were both really good. We asked for queso dip and it came really fast and tasted like you would get it at a sporting event, mass produced out of a giant can. We are use to Los Dos queso which is delicious. Other than that I have no complaints and just recommend you stay away from queso if you like authentic homemade queso.“
“These are, no joke, the best tacos I have ever had! These people are so sweet and fast. I have had their stacked enchiladas which reminded me of my grandpa’s enchiladas. The first time I ever tried this food, I literally cried because it brought me right back to childhood. Everything is always fresh and made to order, they also serve breakfast. They have a location in Castle Rock and one in Aurora. Get there as fast as you possibly can to support this small business!“
“It's a great spot for a great plate of nachos. It's well priced, the staff are friendly, and the food is fresh and delicious. It's no wonder Yolanda's has been able to survive the rapidly changing landscape in Castle Rock for so long.“
“Sitting here now for 10 minutes first table into the outside area. 2 other tables have been sat and served before us. Maybe the food and service when we get it will make up for the start.Updated the waiter finally showed just under 15 minutes. He apologized for the wait and took our order. The food came out of the kitchen very fast, we just beat the dinner rush. The food was homemade, but not the greatest around.“
