Worse winery we have ever been to, owner was rude and disrespectful. My family of 4 were out for a nice day of wine tasting. Three of us had the tasting at 20 dollars each and my husband ordered a glass of wine for 15 dollars. I offered my husband a sip of my first sample of white wine. He scolded me— asked if I had read the menu?? It says 20 dollars per person. I thought he was kidding and giggled. He sternly said I am not kidding and will charge person!! What? He wasn’t giving me more wine I was sharing. He liked to talk about himself the whole time. My daughter did not like a sample so poured it out in the water pitcher instead of the bucket. He yelled at her saying that was the water pitcher. We were the only people there. He was so upset about it. On top of all this the wine was mediocre at best!! We always buy a few bottles of wine when we do wine tasting but not here. Even if I liked the wine I would not buy anything from him. The atmosphere was awful as well. Unkept landscape. We thought about turning around but gave it the benefit of the doubt.. We were soooo wrong with that decision. Our advise don’t go!!

Owner was rude. The place does not look very nice and the wine is so expensive when it all tastes the same and tastes VERY cheap mind you. My mother wanted to share a little sip of her tasting of ONE of the wines with my father who was driving and owner threw a tantrum like a child. Very shocking to sit through. Wine was just so boring with nothing good to remember. So many great wineries nearby that you should go to instead.

The wines are really good but the selection is limited to only 5 tastings (maybe because it's the off season?). Ken was very pleasant and friendly. His passion for wine shows and I learned a few things about the process. His tasting room is in a small garage, but it is nicely decorated and felt cozy with a wood burning stove going!Expect to pay top dollar for the tasting ($20) and the wines ($40/bottle) which is why I rate this with 4 stars. If the prices were more comparable with other Palisade wineries ($10-$15/tastings, $20-$35/bottle), it would be a game changer for me to regularly return.

Great winery, beautiful wines, great atmosphere very knowledgeable. But not found in Yelp search.

Kenn is the best! We love his banter and his sense of humor, and he dishes it perfectly (and is a good sport when anyone manages to land a zinger, which isn't often for us!) Don't visit if you take yourself too seriously and/or aren't willing to spend money on good wine. We first visited Spring of 2017 and always make it a point to stop at Hermosa for our annual Paladise trip. Obviously we also come for the excellent wine, but Kenn always shows us a good time. Finally took home a glass to SLC to remember the good times. Perhaps if we are lucky, merlot will come back. Stop in while this great winery exists.

A small tasting room but the intimate experience allowed us to ask a lot of question and learn a lot! Even better that the wines were great quality - saw a lot of other customers drop by to pick up case. Definitely will seek out Hermosa Vineyards wines in the future!

It wasn’t all bad- let me explain. We called but no answer, immediately Ken called us back to discuss our request on tasting. When we arrived- he opened the doors welcoming us in. The niceness ended there. Out of the 4 of us, this being our 4th winery simply wanted to purchase 2 tastings (me being DD) & sip sampling. Ken adamantly stated if your sipping you need to buy your own tasting and at 5 to $10 more than the others. That’s a big FU in my book. But I paid for 3 tastings & his vineyard is off the list on any future wine tours we do. Thanks Ken.

Somebody giving these good reviews must be nuts. We drove up to this winery and turned around and left. It looked horrible. Weeds all over, vines in very poor condition, and in general the place looked like a junkyard. Who would go here? Sorry, but very bad curb appeal and I doubt the wine is any better.

This place is awesome!!!! This is the wine from the Wedding at Cana! So delicious. Ken the owner was fun and entertaining. His knowledge of wine is beyond exception! We are definitely returning.
