“Food and service were both absolutely amazing. I got the BBQ Pork and my wife got Pho with Shrimp. Everything tasted great, especially my BBQ Pork, and we had a great conversation with the owner. They genuinely care for their customers and their community, and you can tell it's genuine, and not just putting on a show to keep the customers happy. We live in Colorado Springs, so we don't travel to/through Woodland Park often, but after eating here, I think we're going to start looking for reasons to head over more often, just to eat there. We ended up getting an order of BBQ Pork and an order of BBQ Chicken to go as well, and they both tasted great reheated the next day, and honestly, food that still tastes just as good from a microwave the following day, is very hard to find.Kid-friendliness: They're great with the kids. He gave my girls a little plastic "egg" with a toy wrapped up inside, and he was almost as excited as the girls were, to see what they got. The girls loved everything about the place.“

“My family has visited this restaurant a couple of times before but last night we decided to bring some out of town guests too. In addition to several entrees we also ordered the sampler platter so everyone could try multiple things. Absolutely fantastic food all the way around. The portion sizes were great although we left wanting more of everything because it was all so good. I had the shrimp and grits and the sauce was so flavorful and delicious that I was left wanting to lick my plate clean. My father is a smoked meat connoisseur and he said this was one of the best meals he's ever had at a restaurant. I think he might be considering going back for another meal before his visit ends. We finished our meal by splitting a huge piece of carrot cake which everyone really enjoyed although I personally prefer their bread pudding. There's nothing worse than recommending a place to visitors and having it be a flop so thank you so much for helping our guests have an enjoyable evening.“

“I visiting some friends that were local and we came here on a Saturday evening after dinner. They had a live band playing outside so we happily joined. The kids were having a blast and dancing. The drinks were coming out quick! Hands down one of the best Lemon Drop Martinis I have had in Denver. I didn't get any food but it did look delicious. Next time I come back I will give it a try. Everyone was super friendly and it was a great surprise evening. Overall 5/5“
