“What a great local coffee shop! I had the pleasure of meeting Dan when I stopped in looking for fresh espresso beans for my new espresso machine. I told him I was completely new to making espresso at home, and he could not have been more helpful or welcoming.

Dan recommended the Catalyst and even poured me a double shot so I could taste it before buying a bag. It was absolutely wonderful. He took the time to talk with me, answer my questions, and when I asked about grind size, he even ground a small sample for me so I would have something to compare against when setting up my own grinder at home.

I kept that little cup of grounds, and it made my kitchen smell amazing! It was such a thoughtful and generous thing to do.

I have been enjoying the Catalyst at home and absolutely love it. More than anything, I appreciated how kind, patient, and genuinely pleasant Dan was. This is exactly the kind of local business I love supporting.

We started with the complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa what about a 2 out of 10 in terms of heat for me, but my wife thought it was spicy and she likes only very mild salsas.

We then split the chimichangas which ended up being two, mini chimichangas. From the crispiness of the exterior to the taste of the chicken inside, it was quite good! The rice and beans are good as well. And we asked for green chili on the side. It was a little thicker than most that I've eaten but it had a good taste.

A reservation is recommended.”

“Brooke (our server, I'm not just talking in third person) was next level awesome. I wasn't completely over the moon about the prime rib but the carrot cake made up for it. A lot of hockey bets are settled here and we wouldn't change it for anything. I do think I'm starting with dessert next time. Not being able to finish that carrot cake should be a criminal offense and we'll be asking for Brooke again.”

We usually get takeout, and on the rare occasion an order is incorrect (which is a kitchen issue, not the person taking the order, as I can see it on the receipt), Katie is the only manager who has consistently gone above and beyond to make it right. The food itself is very good, and the one time we dined in, it was excellent. Thank you, Katie, for always making sure everything is on point!”

I wish they had a point system as we would've racked up the points. The young staff there are very polite and I love seeing such hardworking kiddos. Brisket, ribs, pulled pork, burnt ends, jalapeño cheddar sausage, pulled chicken. All of it amazing. I showed up right when they started serving at 11 and I’m glad I did because I would be shocked if they don’t sell out every day! “It's fast food. I don't get to jazzed about it. I had 3 chicken fingers & a drink. Two things that impressed me were: 1) the use of only white meat & 2) they weren't overly greasy
I did note there was something lacking in the seasoning of the coating that made them taste a bit bland. I chose not to use the dipping sauce. Perhaps that's where the additional seasoning or at least flavor is derived. Service was quick & friendly, while the atmosphere seemed light hearted and fun. It would have been great if they offered the option of fried or panko breaded air fried as a healthy alternative.”

“Delicious Mexican cuisine in downtown Parker. Cencalli has two locations and I have been to the Parker one twice now. They offer great breakfast, lunch & dinner options along with a full bar. Parker is in an older house with outdoor patio, indoor and bar area with stools. The restaurant is clean and the service was good. My server Angel was friendly and helpful. I tried the maracuya (passion fruit) aguas frescas. Since they are a bit sweet I asked for seltzer water making it fizzy and wonderful. For my entree I chose the surf and turf costra tacos. They come three to an order and are packed with grilled steak asada, grilled shrimp, sauteed onions, guacamole, rice, esquite (corn with cheese, mayo, lime and other spices) and salsa macha. The It is made with oil, chile de arbol and sesame seeds. It was something I haven't tried before and used on the tacos and rice. The taco entree was $24 and very filling. Que delicioso!

Cencalli offers street parking and a reserved lot for businesses nearby. The restroom was clean and well maintained.”
