“You enter through a screen door with a Rainbow Bread ad on the push bar. Definitely sets expectations for a throwback to the mid 1900's. The atmosphere did not disappoint. From the pistachio dispensing machine to the Budweiser memorabilia and historical photos, it was an interesting environment. It is a tavern. No fufu drinks and the only food served is the "make your own sandwiches" Dutch lunch. Efficient, friendly waitress. Great place to cool off with a cold one.“

“Staff and patrons were very friendly. My husband DJ"d there last night. It was my first time visiting. It is one of those everyone knows each other places. You can play pool, drink, karaoke on certain nights and watch your sports. Nice little place inside. Wheelchair accessible. Area outside a bit sketchy so you would want to lock up your vehicles. 5 star rating because of staff, friendliness, atmosphere, lighting and of course the music.“

“Anything i could say about this wonderful place would be an understatement. I have never been treated with so much friendliness and respect by other bar patrons who do not know me from Adam anywhere else. The bartender was very down to earth and genuine. It’s an easy place to relax with no drama. The patrons realize what they have and will keep it that way with kindness and warmth.“

“The BEST "hole in the wall" bar! While the surrounding area and the outside may look sketchy, this place is so welcoming and nice inside. Pool, darts, jukebox, and popcorn all go along with the welcoming atmosphere. The owner is amazing and takes good care of his customers. There's a nice patio in the back to socialize while catching some fresh air. I'm so glad I was introduced to Vets'. A hidden gem for sure!“
“We played bingo on valentine's day and they had space open for a cool and casual evening with good music. Slightly loud but a wonderful homey feel. Food was a unique selection and came out rapidly, only qualm was the has brown could have been dried a touch longer to avoid being damp. Our server was wonderful and quick, especially considering how busy he was by himself! Cheers.“

“A local downtown family owned and operated business, but hard seats, leather burgers, and country music = your place? First time ever seen booths with hard flat seats (a few padded chairs in front and maybe at bar). However, excellent margaritas, fast kitchen service, exceptional wait service from Kara and others, removed plates and glasses as soon as finished. Despite menu disclaimers cooks will not prepare medium rare burgers. Nachos order is large, but hard chewy tasteless tortilla chips with extremely salty sauce. Too noisy to sit near kitchen. Restaurant is clean with slightly dated restrooms but decent and also clean. Prices are a buck or two less than other eateries. Notwithstanding my comments this is a very popular and busy place.“

Everyone is extremely nice and I would recommend on going back.Parking: It is kinda hard to find parking and has a lot of one way streets if not familiar with area. It is an hour parking but after 8pm, you can stay as long as you like.“
