“The food is beyond exquisite, the environment , the views, the service, the options, everything amazing 💯.”
“Great atmosphere, but even better service. The bartender, Chadwick; was welcoming, quick, and knew everything about the drinks and food like the back of his hand. He gave great recommendations, both on the menu and for the mountain. Highly recommend you stop by and see for yourself. We will definitely be back just for Chadwick’s company!”
“By far the best Italian food I have found in the United States!”

“Great sushi place! We dined in and loved every bite — the fish was super fresh, the rolls were flavorful and beautifully presented. Our waitress was incredibly sweet and attentive. But what really made our experience special was a lovely complimentary treat at the end of the meal — such a nice touch! We also absolutely love Chef Ian’s sushi — his skills are on another level! Will definitely come back. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“My husband met the owner on the gondola one day and told us all about First Chair. We made it out for dinner and drinks with the kids a few days later. Chris served us and it was great meeting him as a fellow East coaster! We ordered almost all of the burritos on the menu and were not disappointed! The smash burger was easily my favorite. My dad would order the meatball burrito for every meal, I swear, with how much he enjoyed it as well as my 1 year old eating half of one herself. My son did work on the nachos they were so tasty! When we get back to Vail, we'll be sure to stop in! great staff and food!”
“Food was great overall, and the ambiance was wonderful. The service was prompt and food arrived very quickly. The only thing that slightly disappointed me was the side salad as I was hoping for a more traditional Austrian or a German salad with pickled veggies and vinegarette. All the other food was delicious. We will definitely go back.”
“Creekside sunny patio, benefits from Sweet Basil sister wine list, hangar steak accompanied by a really delicious miso glaze, baby corn stalk sprouts were tasty and unique, crème corn side had a nice flavor, very attentive and friendly, and super welcoming with my pup on the patio”
“Outstanding service from the time we arrived and awesome selection of fine foods and wines. Loved every minute of it!”

“Authentic European breakfast buffet in a beautiful atrium next to Gore Creek. A huge selection of breakfast items including an egg station, breakfast meats, pancakes, seafood, fruits and homemade breads and pastries. Located in the Sonnenalp Hotel in the center of Vail Village. Service is impeccable.”
“Not sure why this place is a 4.3…..it should be much higher! Staff was fantastic - showed up with two unhappy campers, and the wait staff immediately asked if we wanted to order the kids’ food. I very much appreciate any restaurant who understands the challenges of dealing with hungry children. The food was fantastic, the drinks were great - just an overall positive and lovely experience. Will visit again!!”
“We visited pre-ski season and the atmosphere was perfect. No large crowds and the service was wonderful.”
“We love Yama every time we go. We were just looking for some good food after a hard day working while enjoying vail to the fullest. It satisfied every need. Pat the manager does a great job. Maya the 5* server is super knowledgeable and detailed; shes a reason alone to keep coming back. Juan the Chef is a true Pro, we love his work and will come back as much as possible just for him. I recommend the Costa Rica roll.
9.9/10 all around.”
“I don’t think there is an institution better than 10th mountain division. Having come here for 10+ years, the drinks are great - the service is great (if you aren’t rude) - and extra kudos to Mark and Andy. Thanks for making every experience at Vail something special.”

“Swiss Chalet Restaurant was a great experience in Vail with friends. The fondue and raclette were delicious, and the chocolate fondue was the perfect way to end the meal. Cozy atmosphere and a fun spot for a special dinner together. Highly recommend!”
Takeout Restaurants
“On the receipt it said our server was Raul. He was awesome and made an iced espresso that my girlfriend thought was much better than Starbucks. The coffee creation was on the house… even the second one. The breakfast was very good and priced fairly. Because of it all, left a little over 50% tip and happy. Well done.”
“Definitely, one of my most favorite places to go to after skiing. Our service was great and we were able to sit outside and watch people skiing down the mountain. It was very busy so we did have to wait a little while at the end of january. They do have heaters there. I like this place more for the atmosphere than the actual food itself. But it's definitely worth going to. The server was very nice to us and they were fast and efficient. Thank you for your hospitality. We'll definitely be there again soon.”
“This place is so much fun! We had a girls trip this last week and went twice. The atmosphere was perfect, it was like a dive bar with great comfy seating. They had touch tunes so we got to play our own music (so fun) however, our only complaint is that there’s VERY limited country music options. Apparently the owner doesn’t want it to be a country bar but we’re just some Oklahoma girls wanting to play some of our fave tunes! If we could’ve played whatever we wanted I would give this place a 10/10. But for now, it is an 8.5/10. Regardless of the music limitations this place is great. We had the sweetest bartender both nights, Kaya. She made us feel so welcome and it was nice to see a familiar face when we came back. If you’re in town looking for a fun night out, this is the place to go. Maybe if we beg enough they’ll add some more country music to the touch tunes options????”
“the coffee shop is paired with a restaurant and the restaurant was basically empty, i’m assuming they were not open. the coffee shop portion was also empty but the baristas were nice and happy to take our order. i ordered the cafe miel which is honey, cinnamon and oat milk with espresso but i asked for mine with whole milk and they happily made that accommodation for me. the coffee was delicious and so flavorful. the coffee was made pretty quickly. i highly recommend this place if you are in vail!”
“This Starbucks sits inside the hospital lobby.
Don't worry; the map app is guiding you to the right place!
The hospital concierge staff is very friendly and will gladly point you in the right direction.
Audrey and the rest of the Starbucks staff are always warm and happy to recommend a good drink!”
“My favored sushi restaurant in Colorado. This is my 3rd visit. We would visit more often if we lived closer. Their house salad is great and both the sushi and sashimi specials are 1st rate. We also enjoyed their Flaming Death Star desert. A memorable visit.”

“We stayed at the sonnenalp for a week and had the best experience visiting the King’s Club everyday. The drinks were amazing and everyday we received incredible service, especially from Virag who was extremely attentive and made us feel very welcome. We love it here and cant wait to come back!”
“Wow, one of the best restaurants on Vail mountain! For starters, this restaurant blew my mind away, especially it being 2 miles high! The pulled pork was so tender, the ribs were some of the best that I have ever had, the sauce is the bomb, and the prices were reasonable for Vail! Pro tip, use your epic pass if you have it, it will save you a drastic amount of money!
Vegetarian options: This is a bbq, so there is not many veggie dishes
Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for dietary restrictions!
Parking: In terms of ski parking, there are many racks outside to “park” your skis. However, you can’t drive up to here!
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!
Wheelchair accessibility: If you are on a wheelchair and are skiing, congratulations! It is for skiers!”
“We had lunch at Wildwood Smokehouse. It's located at the top of the Wildwood lift at Vail. We each had a sandwich, shredded chicken, brisket, and pulled pork, and weall had onion rings for our side. They were all good. The shredded chicken had great smoky flavor. On the table, there are 3 BBQ sauces, OG, spicy and honey mustard.”
“Check in was at 4pm, not a minute earlier. But once you arrive at your room, it is extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had a nice gas stove and all the amenities needed for laundry and cooking. Our family was super comfortable in a two bedroom apartment and had enough room for all their toys. The location is also the best in vail! you are seconds away from the village and all ice rink. We opted to stay on the non village side because we were worried about noise, however the other side (facing the highway) can be quiet noisy if you are a light sleeper. The pool/gym area was also a nice touch, with updated workout machines and bikes. We did have a little mishap with the concierge and our babysitter not showing up so we missed an excursion. The concierge desk was having trouble solving it, but the manager came in and handled it all swiftly to help make this feel like a five star vacation. We will be returning. xThank you!”
“More people need to visit Gessners! It feels like secret that needs to get out. Food is fantastic and the service is both attentive and personable. Jhon was excellent - knowledgeable and friendly. My wife and I have been coming for years celebrating birthdays and anniversaries and will definitely be back.”
“May Palace in Vail is affordable, delicious and family run- now my new favorite spot in Vail! They have great asian cuisine…including dim sum (if I hadn’t been eating solo, it would have been ordered in seconds). The Massaman curry was tasty and came with plenty of food in the lunch deal. They also have a sunday buffet. Easy parking in the lot, and the sweetest owner. Please support them so they don’t go out of business!”
“We had the most amazing meal at Revel! The salmon with creamy leeks and Chardonnay braised turnips was spectacular—the subtle flavors were perfectly balanced with the leeks providing just the right amount of tang so it didn’t feel too rich. The braised beef was like butter; the savory vegetables it was braised in overnight gave a depth of flavor I’ve never tasted in beef before. The chocolate mousse for dessert…heavenly! The richness of the Belgian chocolate and vanilla bean cream had me moaning out loud.
The salmon is flown in from Norway and the beef is raised locally. I think this goes to show that if you start with fresh, pure ingredients and put them in the hands of a talented chef you can make the simplest of foods taste exceptional.
I just ate at a James Beard award winning restaurant last month and I can honestly say it was no comparison to our meal at Revel! I can’t wait to go back!”

“Steven Teaver the owner was awesome! He opened up a little early to allow us Oregonians to check out Bad Kitty Lounge! Made us feel like long time friends! The suspended mirrored ski boot was a spectacular touch. Were there 08/23/21. Going through some of our Colorado vacation pics and had to comment on this place.”
“Nicest, most personable Starbucks staff I’ve ever met. Jada and Chloe were very patient with a complex order and held a lovely conversation when the POS was glitching, turning a situation which would’ve been otherwise unpleasant into a education time about the best sandwich on the menu (the impossible!). Coffee was on point and super yummy!”
“Went here twice during our stay. Not sure why the rating is so low. We had pastries, coffee, and tea each time. Good cup of coffee, chai latte and hot tea. Kids loved the donuts and cronuts. Croissants and pastries were yummy. Small shop but seating along the window to sit and enjoy. Would have continued to go if our trip was longer!”
“Andrea was very kind and helpful today at Starbucks in City Market Vail. This is a great place to rest and enjoy a delicious coffee beverage and a snack after skiing or groceryshopping. It's very conveniently located in City Market, Vail on the North Frontage Rd.”
“Pazzo’s Pizza in Vail is hands down the best spot for pizza around. Dan Renner and the crew make every visit feel like you’re part of the family. Their service is top-notch—always friendly, timely, and welcoming. The pizza? Absolutely unbeatable, with fresh ingredients and that perfect balance of flavor and crust. Whether you’re grabbing a bite after a day on the slopes or ordering in, they never disappoint. If you want great food and a place that treats you right, Pazzo’s is the place to go!”
“We ALWAYS have a Great experience at La Tour! The food is exceptional & service is spot on! We can’t wait to go back!”
“Beer is on point and perfect place to chill after a day out on the slopes or hiking.”

“We had an amazing dinner at Left Bank - the food never disappoints, the wine selection is amazing, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. A must if you are looking for a wonderful meal in Vail!”
“Our Tampa Bay Ski Club has been having our group dinner there for years. Always excellent food and service!”

“My husband and I stopped in for an early dinner in Vail last night. We just wanted a quick bite to eat at the bar area. I got the wedge salad that was great, just know their salad dressing is very zesty. My husband got the smash burger with truffle fries. Let me just say, I will come back to this restaurant for this. Both were absolutely perfect. 👌 I also ordered a glass of sparkling rose from the zero proof menu. It was a wonderful selection of both wine, cocktails, and zero proof choices. The sommelier stopped by our table and we gave him our compliments. Service was wonderful. The only reason for the four stars is that it is off season right now, so be aware of that. There’s also construction and maintenance going on everywhere in Vail right now.”
“My family and I still talk about this pizza. It’s the best pizza we have ever had (including NYC - I know, throw the tomatoes at me now but its true).
The crust - oh the crust! The toppings too. I seriously may go back to Vail just for the pizza.
I will say, service was not that good. Our server’s personality apparently called in sick that day. But the rest was awesome.”

“Our favorite breakfast in the Vail valley! To save yourself some time, be sure to join their waitlist thru Google! They’ll text you when your table is ready! My husband’s & son’s favorite item is the Taxi Driver.”
