“Food was great overall, and the ambiance was wonderful. The service was prompt and food arrived very quickly. The only thing that slightly disappointed me was the side salad as I was hoping for a more traditional Austrian or a German salad with pickled veggies and vinegarette. All the other food was delicious. We will definitely go back.”

“My husband met the owner on the gondola one day and told us all about First Chair. We made it out for dinner and drinks with the kids a few days later. Chris served us and it was great meeting him as a fellow East coaster! We ordered almost all of the burritos on the menu and were not disappointed! The smash burger was easily my favorite. My dad would order the meatball burrito for every meal, I swear, with how much he enjoyed it as well as my 1 year old eating half of one herself. My son did work on the nachos they were so tasty! When we get back to Vail, we'll be sure to stop in! great staff and food!”

“On the receipt it said our server was Raul. He was awesome and made an iced espresso that my girlfriend thought was much better than Starbucks. The coffee creation was on the house… even the second one. The breakfast was very good and priced fairly. Because of it all, left a little over 50% tip and happy. Well done.”

“The atmosphere and service were very good! It's a busy place, pretty crowded even on an off-season Tuesday night. The staff were professional and attentive. The food itself didn't stand out. On the good side, the filet and the oysters were delicious and they had a good cocktail menu and some nice wines by the the glass. But both the asparagus and the broccolini were scrawny and tough--poor quality produce not well prepared. I can't be sure, but I think the French fries were frozen. The salmon was undercooked and mushy. In short, I highly recommend La Braserie for drinks and oysters, but probably go someplace else for dinner.”

“Breakfast at Ludwig’s was a great start to every morning during my stay. The atrium is beautiful, especially with the fall colors and views of the creek. The buffet selection was extensive and delicious, and the service was great—all the ladies who looked after me were lovely.

The buffet was included in my stay, which I really appreciated. I’m not sure I would have paid $42 for it otherwise, but I thoroughly enjoyed the food, setting, and warm service.”

“The breakfast at Tavernetta is some of the best breakfast food I’ve had from across the whole country including cities like LA & NYC. The veggie skillet is my #1 because it’s the healthiest way to start the day & very filling. #2 favorite is the sausage & polenta dish. This item is my indulgent, flavorful & is like a breakfast & lunch for me. I’ll re order these every time I’m in vail but if I could eat this everyday, year round I would. Delicious & filling portions.”

The food was decent, I really didn’t expect it to be this huge as a starter though; the ice tea lemonade was so delicious and refreshing, and I was really surprised when the waiter refilled it! I mean it wasn’t anywhere on the menu.. Of course loved the gesture and appreciated it!”

“A few places I’ve dined at in the area have nice atmosphere and just middle of the road food. Bart & Yeti’s is not one of those - spectacular food here! I had the best Caesar Chicken Wrap ever. The Pprk Green Chile was incredible, even the house salad that we also ordered was wonderful. Was not expecting to write these kind of statements about the food we ordered but we were blown away with how good it was. Service was impeccable as well … everyone was attentive and it was just a great experience. Was not expecting such a great meal, it definitely caught us off guard. Will definitely go again us our schedule allows.”

The prices are high for “reality” but in vail village, it’s perfectly normal to pay $65 for what I listed above.”

“One of the best parts of staying at this property. Food was amazing! The cheese melt with tomato soup, the wings, the pizzas, everything was so delicious! And the service provided by the guys at the bar was superb!”

“Great stop off spot for food and beer. I was surprised at how big and good the chilli dog was. Flame grilled and served hot. Outdoor seating only, but in a well sheltered location so no wind. All in all, a great spot for great hot dogs and brats.”

“Check in was at 4pm, not a minute earlier. But once you arrive at your room, it is extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had a nice gas stove and all the amenities needed for laundry and cooking. Our family was super comfortable in a two bedroom apartment and had enough room for all their toys. The location is also the best in vail! you are seconds away from the village and all ice rink. We opted to stay on the non village side because we were worried about noise, however the other side (facing the highway) can be quiet noisy if you are a light sleeper. The pool/gym area was also a nice touch, with updated workout machines and bikes. We did have a little mishap with the concierge and our babysitter not showing up so we missed an excursion. The concierge desk was having trouble solving it, but the manager came in and handled it all swiftly to help make this feel like a five star vacation. We will be returning. xThank you!”

“We had lunch at Wildwood Smokehouse. It's located at the top of the Wildwood lift at Vail. We each had a sandwich, shredded chicken, brisket, and pulled pork, and weall had onion rings for our side. They were all good. The shredded chicken had great smoky flavor. On the table, there are 3 BBQ sauces, OG, spicy and honey mustard.”

“Sure, it’s not cheap. Sure, it’s small. Sure, it’s old. But, wildwood is one of if not the most legendary on mountain dining halls in the entire world. It’s my personal favorite, and I look forward to making a few stops here every year. See you two miles high!”

“We sat outside, Great place to sit and chat. As it got busy the service got slower but we were up for a relaxed dinner anyway so had no issues. The food showed up and was excellent. Would highly recommend. If you are in a rush, sit inside.”

“Had a wonderful experience at Yoshimi Pop-Up. This restaurant is located within the Grand Hyatt at Vail. The sushi was fresh, and the service was excellent. We absolutely loved the oysters and would definitely go back!”

“The Fitz is a busy patio whenever there are shows at the Amp and this was the case on this night we went. They should have a better system worked out for the bar. We waited for over 10 to 15 minutes for our drinks. The waitress was super busy. Maybe have some more help on hand on busy nights?”

They brought my husband a slice if dark chocolate cake for his birthday. It was a memorable meal!”

“Many people booked outside seating as did we and then the rain started and everyone requested inside. The wait staff, hostess and every other employee hustled to get everyone seated in a short time. They did an amazing job. Food was tasty, limited selection but solid on flavor. Our server was wonderful. Tavern on the Square is always on our list for dining during our annual summer visits.”
