“INSPIRED cocktails! Great food and an incredible staff who works hard to build a personal connection. This has become our most frequented hang in Vail - super grateful especially for Hal, Chadwick, Bence, and Lori for being standout and going above and beyond in their kindness and cocktail expertise!! Get a Don Alejandro while you’re here - you won’t be disappointed.”

“Did not expect to find such good jjamppong in Vail. The owner once he found out I was Korean offered me jjamppong which was an off menu item. We also got some take out items and they were all incredible. Absolute gem”
“Dining at Joy Sushi was, without a doubt, one of the most incredible culinary experiences we’ve had, and not just in Vail, but anywhere. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a cozy vibe that made us feel right at home.
The sushi and sashimi were unbelievably fresh—each bite practically melted in our mouths. You could truly taste the quality and care that went into every piece. The rolls were not only beautifully presented but also incredibly creative. The combinations of flavors were thoughtfully crafted and balanced perfectly, and absolutely delicious.
We were especially impressed by how reasonably priced everything was, especially considering the high quality of the ingredients and the location in Vail. It felt like such a hidden gem, just a short drive from our hotel. We were so impressed after our first dinner that we came back again two nights later, and honestly, we would have gone all three nights if we hadn’t made other plans.
Joy Sushi has officially become a must-stop for us whenever we’re in town. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers such a consistent and exceptional experience across the board—from food to service to value. We’re already looking forward to our next weekend trip to Vail, and Joy Sushi will definitely be on the itinerary.”

“Food was great overall, and the ambiance was wonderful. The service was prompt and food arrived very quickly. The only thing that slightly disappointed me was the side salad as I was hoping for a more traditional Austrian or a German salad with pickled veggies and vinegarette. All the other food was delicious. We will definitely go back.”
“Love hanging out at the George! Any season throughout the year is a good time here. Great selection of beers and the redbull slushies are great too. Bar service is quick even when they get a little busy. The food at this bar is top notch. My favorite go to is definitely the duck and mushroom quesadilla. Its a great snack if your really hungry or a decent meal if not! Ski season Après The George is the place to be. Find it down the stairs and enjoy some damn good food and drinks.”
“Amazing food and experience. Our server was fantastic and knowledgeable of drinks and menu items. Help celebrate our honeymoon with a keep sake box from the restaurant. My wife and I would go every night if possible.”

“My wife and I have been coming to this restaurant for many years. Every time we return to the Left Bank we remark that it's the best meal in the Valley. The staff is wonderfully attentive and so friendly, the atmosphere is one of fine dining, and the food is delicious, from appetizers to desserts. There is not a better French onion soup in town. Their seafood bouillabaisse, we feel, is the best entree in the Valley, and their dessert souffles are a true treat. Though on the high end of pricing, it is definitely worth it, and is still less expensive than other establishments in town we have dined at, though the food is better. If you haven't tried it, don't miss it.”
“Located at the top of Gondola 19 in Lionshead, Eagle’s Nest has several eateries for skiers and riders. The food here is good, although expensive. Over the past two years, the menu options and quality have improved significantly. There is a good bar on the first floor, Bistro 14. This use to be a restaurant, but post-COVID, it is just a bar.”
“I asked the valet at our hotel who should we order pizza from, Local Joe's was his quick reply. The pies arrived hot and fresh, high quality ingredients, and the delivery guy was very nice. We also tried 5 of their sandwiches for lunch the next day, equally excellent. When in vail this is the place from which to get pizza or sub sandwiches. If you go for pickup or want a drink at their bar, don't let the older/small location fool you, it's got great people and wonderful food.”
“As exquisite as ever! Yama was the perfect birthday dinner for my wife... The food is exceptional in its design, preparation, and presentation. And, the kitchen crew is super accommodating for dietary limitations. So appreciate their help. It's the first time we had Martina as our server and she was delightful. Look forward to seeing her again. And, as always, the conversation with Patrick was soul-nourishing.”

Takeout Restaurants
“My husband met the owner on the gondola one day and told us all about First Chair. We made it out for dinner and drinks with the kids a few days later. Chris served us and it was great meeting him as a fellow East coaster! We ordered almost all of the burritos on the menu and were not disappointed! The smash burger was easily my favorite. My dad would order the meatball burrito for every meal, I swear, with how much he enjoyed it as well as my 1 year old eating half of one herself. My son did work on the nachos they were so tasty! When we get back to Vail, we'll be sure to stop in! great staff and food!”

“On the receipt it said our server was Raul. He was awesome and made an iced espresso that my girlfriend thought was much better than Starbucks. The coffee creation was on the house… even the second one. The breakfast was very good and priced fairly. Because of it all, left a little over 50% tip and happy. Well done.”
“What a lovely spot for coffee! It’s right on the corner and easy to find. My husband and I got the Superfood Balls which were made with dates, sesame seeds, coconut and other stuff. Really yummy! The blueberry muffin was really good! We also enjoyed the Nitro Cold Brew and Vanilla Latte. Such a cute spot and I really want to try the strawberry cloud matcha! I saw the sign for it and wished I had ordered it.”
“Atmosphere is like a chalet feel of wood n stone. Food was fine. Sloppy Joe was good. Chicken noodle soup was good. Pricey for the sandwich type food but we are in Vail Colorado. Daughter liked the salad. It was fine , the server was friendly. It was great to try. We were passing through to Utah.”
“This Starbucks sits inside the hospital lobby.
Don't worry; the map app is guiding you to the right place!
The hospital concierge staff is very friendly and will gladly point you in the right direction.
Audrey and the rest of the Starbucks staff are always warm and happy to recommend a good drink!”
“Beer is on point and perfect place to chill after a day out on the slopes or hiking.”

“The bbq pizza was the best pizza I have ever had. The waiter was a little under par. He just wasn't as attentive to us as he was others. We ordered 2 beers he only brought one. And when we said we wanted 2. He had a attitude. But then apologized right before he brought the bill.”
“This is the best place to eat on the mountain. They are smoking the meat right there!
Great spot to stop in, warm up, and get some great BBQ. Get there before the lunch rush to make sure you get a seat. Tables by the windows have a beautiful view of the mountain. When the weather is warmer you can sit outside. They have picnic tables and lawn chairs.
Recommend the ribs, brisket, and Mac n cheese.”
“Wow, one of the best restaurants on Vail mountain! For starters, this restaurant blew my mind away, especially it being 2 miles high! The pulled pork was so tender, the ribs were some of the best that I have ever had, the sauce is the bomb, and the prices were reasonable for Vail! Pro tip, use your epic pass if you have it, it will save you a drastic amount of money!
Vegetarian options: This is a bbq, so there is not many veggie dishes
Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for dietary restrictions!
Parking: In terms of ski parking, there are many racks outside to “park” your skis. However, you can’t drive up to here!
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!
Wheelchair accessibility: If you are on a wheelchair and are skiing, congratulations! It is for skiers!”
“We visited pre-ski season and the atmosphere was perfect. No large crowds and the service was wonderful.”
“I was pretty disappointed this season with the limited options this time. The food is served apparently only some days.. then there's no wait staff I guess anymore, and as much as this place suppose to be bumpin' for any apres ski time they decide to close at 4pm or so.. blew my mind.. absolutely the most prime real estate .. the way its ran I guarantee they're hitting less than 50% of its potential revenue! [It's a very obvious observation] no entertainment just self order line. Please be better.. make Vail resorts $$ so ppl don't need to pay $300 day for skiing”
“Best tasting Mexican food I have had in a really really long time. I got the Crazy Donkey burrito with a side of Diablo sauce, rice and beans: and it was perfect! The guacamole was also some of the freshest and best. It was perfect! Look forward to returning to Vail and coming here again”
“This little shop is an ice cream lover’s dream! The flavors of ice cream range from the trusted standby flavors like chocolate to the imaginative flavors of London fog, “oh nuts!” and Apple pie. Though our stomachs were too full to eat a sundae, we will be back to gobble one down, another day. Today, we tried a scoop of the butter pecan and salted cookies and cream. Both hit the spot! Scoop sizes are generous and staff are friendly.”
“Andrea was very kind and helpful today at Starbucks in City Market Vail. This is a great place to rest and enjoy a delicious coffee beverage and a snack after skiing or groceryshopping. It's very conveniently located in City Market, Vail on the North Frontage Rd.”
“The food is beyond exquisite, the environment , the views, the service, the options, everything amazing 💯.”

“Steven Teaver the owner was awesome! He opened up a little early to allow us Oregonians to check out Bad Kitty Lounge! Made us feel like long time friends! The suspended mirrored ski boot was a spectacular touch. Were there 08/23/21. Going through some of our Colorado vacation pics and had to comment on this place.”
“A perfect place for a quick bite to fill you up after/before a ski day. We made a pit-stop before we got on the lift and had a nice hearty meal that was balanced, tasty, and filling! The restaurant has lots of charm and makes you feel cozy and homey when you enter with all its personal decorations and memorabilia surrounding you while you dine-in. They also have outdoor seating, so you can supplement a beautiful day with a beautiful sandwich!”
“Pazzo’s Pizza in Vail is hands down the best spot for pizza around. Dan Renner and the crew make every visit feel like you’re part of the family. Their service is top-notch—always friendly, timely, and welcoming. The pizza? Absolutely unbeatable, with fresh ingredients and that perfect balance of flavor and crust. Whether you’re grabbing a bite after a day on the slopes or ordering in, they never disappoint. If you want great food and a place that treats you right, Pazzo’s is the place to go!”
“Grabbed an iced chai latte on break, it was refreshing. The barista was very friendly, even when guests came in for ice cream, which is next door, she'd point them in the right direction and tell them to enjoy their ice cream. This place can get packed quickly, but afternoon in the summer are quite pleasant.”
“the food was amazing. So fresh and delicious. The staff was equally impressing with great attitude and professionalism”

“The food was really good. Our waitress was really nice to us. They are really friendly They are quick with getting your orders to you as well.”
“Amazing views. Even with one hour left and the place packed still got served food exactly as ordered. Drink ordered was strong lol - gotta love a high elevation bartender!”

“Great stop off spot for food and beer. I was surprised at how big and good the chilli dog was. Flame grilled and served hot. Outdoor seating only, but in a well sheltered location so no wind. All in all, a great spot for great hot dogs and brats.”

“QUICK REVIEW: Very nice Steakhouse in Vail, Great service. Solid 4.8 Stars. Recommend. Yes, we will be back. LONGER REVIEW: We have been to Elway's in Vail a number of times over the years, but it has been a while. Based on reviews, decided to give it a another try. SERVICE: Seated promptly at reservation time at a booth by request. Alejandra - our main server - was Awesome. She was there when you needed her, with a great attitude and advice. Nice job! FOOD and COCKTAILS. Had a "French martini" and a Glass of Red Blend. Wines by the glass were adequate, the wine list by the bottle is more extensive. #7 Salad to table share, Sea Bass prep, and Prime Ribeye. Loaded baked potato and Sweet corn for sides. All perfectly cooked, with a few take home boxes. All Very Tasty. The chocolate cake to share at the end - all gone. OVERALL: Elways always delivers for us. Highly recommend. Only downside was a couple of "fussy" babies in the dining room, but that was a minor distraction. YES, we would go back.”

“Vendetta’s is hands down one of the best spots in town. The pizza is absolutely top tier — crispy crust, perfectly balanced sauce, and toppings that taste fresh every single time. It’s the kind of pie that keeps you coming back after just one slice. On top of that, the bartenders here are some of the friendliest and most skilled around. They’ve got the perfect balance of speed, personality, and great recommendations whether you’re after a craft beer, a cocktail, or just something simple. Between the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere, Vendetta’s nails it every time. A true Vail classic.”

“We went for a late lunch and sat outside near the grassy area so kind of loud. The staff was great and very helpful with out split burger and salad and split checks without asking. Food was good and a good value but wine and beer was pricey. Overall, would go again.”
“The best restaurant in Vail!”
